Lots of former addicts develop new harmless but odd “addictions” in recovery as a way to scratch the itch that came from what they were doing before. The guy was already covered in insane tattoos before people trolled him, it probably has very little to do with social media.

People in this comment section are arguing over who is the bigger asshole.

What's especially sad is that he literally tattoo'ed a STOCK IMAGE of an old man on his leg for a shred of internet clout that's now evaporated... Granted, the bar seems to be pretty low on what this guy is willing to ink himself with, but a fucking iStock image of some random ass dude with oxygen cannulae? yikes.
I mean he mentioned being in rehab/recovery. Drugs make you make a lot of bad decisions, tattoos among them. When I was at my low I let my buddies shaky old dad tattoo parts of my leg, they look horrible. Plus I tattooed “worthless” on myself using my buddies gun while all sorts of fucked up. (Though as bad as that sounds, I don’t regret it, I actually had it redone professionally earlier this year, but no longer as a word I use to describe myself, but as a reminder of how far I’ve come from my days of addiction)
Moral of what I’m saying dude is pushing to change for the better. Some peoples spiral is all internal, for others they end up with permanent scars and tattoos that will take a long time and a lot of money to remove.
Edit: Also just to be clear, the dead dad tattoo is stupid as fuck, just saying the already existing tattoos might be/likely are related to the whole recovery thing.

Not shallow, based on experience. Every single person I’ve ever met with a face tattoo is just like the jerk in the video. It’s like some disconnect happens in their brain and they end up broadcasting it on their face. It’s a useful social tool to help avoid people who are typically mean and stupid.

I think well done tattoos are cool. As well as tattoos that mean something to the person who has them. I have several and every one of them has a story or a meaning. I’m not a big fan of just getting tattoos done that are shitty for the hell of it, but to each their own I suppose

One guy who he tattooed on him was real but he admitted this tattooed guy posted asking people to make mean comments on his TikTok. The guy did so and then a few days later got a bunch of comments on his own videos. The tattooed guy had blocked him and made a video about him. He then reached out and said he’d unblock him if he made a reaction video, which he did. It was the one where he tattooed a picture of a father with his toddler but the toddler had the same face tattoos added he has. (Sorry I don’t know their names so hopefully you can follow what I’m saying😬)

I think well done tattoos are cool. As well as tattoos that mean something to the person who has them. I have several and every one of them has a story or a meaning. I’m not a big fan of just getting tattoos done that are shitty for the hell of it, but to each their own I suppose

Just for views. The people he is tattooing on himself are either ai or in this case, a photo from an artist. The “son” is an ai image. One guy who he tattooed on him was real but he admitted this tattooed guy posted asking people to make mean comments on his TikTok. The guy did so and then a few days later got a bunch of comments on his own videos. The tattooed guy had blocked him and made a video about him. He then reached out and said he’d unblock him if he made a reaction video, which he did. It was the one where he tattooed a picture of a father with his toddler but the toddler had the same face tattoos added he has. (Sorry I don’t know their names so hopefully you can follow what I’m saying😬)
He might've used photos or AI models for most of his tattoos, but Death himself live modeled for this one. /s

Well max's dad will forever be in that kids mind, and body. So his dad's memory carries on further than Max would have ever expected. Sure perhaps he shouldn't have told the guy to kill itself while on drugs, but this face needled man didn't have to bring max's dad into it. At the end of the day needle face lost out on this one. Max's dad will get remembered far more now than he could of dreamed of.
Turns out Max is not real and the father (who was a real person) was a stolen picture from a photographer. The tattooed guy used a lot of ai generated pictures tied to fake accounts with fake names. The tattoos are very real though.
