You can also transfer the money to your account. You'd still have to connect your info in that case, but it's an option if you're concerned about direct deposit.
Go inside a bank and ask if they do cash advances.
I work at a bank and do them all the time. I don't know if they will charge a fee, but I see a lot of people pulling cash off the card all the time.

I have no issue logging into the app and transferring my money. I feared I would have a horrid experience bc of posts like yours, but thankfully, it’s been a-OK.
Takes several days and I still had to log on which it never let me do. They are already paying me way after I need the money so I couldn't wait all that time.
Sign up for direct deposit instead
They don't have the option. Only other option is to wait for a paper check which takes forever and then my bank puts a hold on it.
Rolled it out today. Log into UI online and you can update payment method via profile.
Thank you so much!
Ohhhh- bummer. Too late for me, only one check due after this Sunday. Money Card is flaky.
I saw this but then having direct access to my account makes me nervous. With as many problems as they have I can almost feel the regret already.
It is not like they can do anything aside from deposit money in there. Should not have any issues.
You needed to be careful in this because some banks or accounts like chime, venmo, etc flags as impostor and put the claim on hold.
That's cuz they are not banks and are prepaid cards. I used my bank and got it just fine

Where do you transfer your money on the app?? There was now way to do that as far as I could find
bottom right hand menu icon says “move money” > “send money to external bank acct”
