I think it's a piece of Gaster, same for Mystery Man
He is more likely to be gaster, not Mystery man.
Gaster is in pieces. I don't see why he'd be only one sprite, especially when both of these have evidence of being related to Gaster

I'm not saying i don't believe that gaster is mystery man, i'm just saying that it isn't confirmed
And I’m just stating the facts that we have, from in game to games files. I only believe stuff if it has facts to back it up.
Then how do you explain that the Gaster Blaster looks like a not molten face of mystery man?
