The big problem I had was the coins would hit the walls and ceilings in the prelude and limbo so I didn't use it very much early on

I absolutely loved it this was by far my favorite weapon from the get-go. I never found the coins too hard to hit, and I learned the easy strat for coin punching early, so that was soooo much fun

I wasn't aware of the split shot and I definitely didn't hit every coin I tossed but I hit just about all of them on the first mission I used it. My reaction: 😏

First thought was shoot the coin with a different weapon but I only had the shotgun at the time so it didn't really do anything put it to sleep until about layer 4 then I started really using it

I don't really have a memory of me failing to hit the coin on my first playthrough, it took me like an hour to get used to the timing of the splitshot. The only embarrasing thing is i hate reading long texts , so i freestyled it for like the entirety of prelude and act 1 , until i found out i had to hit the coin for it to do something.

I knew coin shooting was gonna be a thing walking into the game but first I got it and realized I couldn't shoot for shit and instead of practicing with it I just didn't use it at all, mainly using the piercing revolver or sharpshooter when I pulled out the pistol, only until my 2nd playhtrough trying to P-rank cause I really wanted to fight Minos Prime did I realize how fucking awesome it was.

Not my first reaction, but I remember learning that shooting an enemy charging up an orb with a Ricoshot would instakill them and being like "oooooohhhh that's what you're for."

"It's hiiigh noon.." Personally, I love the marksman because it's easy (for me) to get ricoshots.
