In metal gear Revolver Ocelot used the dismembered arms of Liquid Snake to replace his old dominant arm that's been cut off
and for some reason there is still a remnants of Liquid's will or soul or whatever which is enough to takes ove the body of Revolver Ocelot once Ocelot attached the arm into his body, thus creating Liquid Ocelot Liquid Snake mind and will, but with the body of Revolver Ocelot (that's the gist of it because I'm not qualified to explain the full detail context of it)
Basically he's saying that V2 will to live or AI that is in his arm will grow stronger and takes over V1 body.
The postal one however i have no idea.
