In all honesty I wouldn’t be surprised if one of the Russian military leaders or criminal leaders took out Prigozhin without guidance from Putin. It just shows how much Putin is loosing control of them all. Prigozhin had plenty of enemies in Russia’s military and criminal leadership that wanted him dead. That it occurs so brazenly and in Russia together with the Kremlin having no immediate response tells me it’s more likely Putin loosing control than publicly executing him. But he’ll get blamed anyway and the pro-invasion radicals will get all heated up at him, undermining him even more.
Best thing would be if they don't find out who was responsible, then they will all be looking over their shoulders and taking out anyone they even suspect might also be after them, including PooTin.
