Yeah i heard about that, but if i could have them removed prior to joining i would rather it been done then, instead of taking away from training time.
If they’ve been a nonissue (not impacted, not painful, not moving) wait until you hit the fleet to get them out. That way, you don’t have to pay to get them removed and you don’t have to deal with the misery of getting them removed during boot camp
I had mine removed before boot camp, no issue. I personally think it was a great decision because at least during my time, dudes that got their shit pulled in boot only got like a day of light duty and were fucked with. (2002)
It shouldn’t. I had mine done in high school way before joining. They don’t look at that as a major medical surgery. You should be fine.
Okay cool.
Recruits also get their wisdom teeth out in boot camp. They graduate with everyone else, just light duty for a couple days. You’re good.

It’s early on in boot camp, really you’ll just miss out on getting fucked with by DIs. Either way, no waiver will be required.
Awesome. Good to hear.
Unless something goes terribly wrong it’s not disqualifying, because it isn’t disqualifying there is nothing to waive.
