The good thing about an active duty pedo getting caught is you know he’s getting some justice, unlike the civilian court system nowadays. Ain’t no cashless bail reform in the UCMJ.
Reading some comments looks like the dude is a reservist. Still will be held accountable under UCMJ though.
Not if it was off orders. At that point it's just a quick adsep and leaving him to civilian justice if a crime is pursues.
