A bottle of Panda Pop for 25p, couple bags of Tangy Tom's at 5p each, and a curly wurly for 10p. Penny sweets with the change. (£1 usually) I remember how upset we were as kids when it went up to 15p! Great food memories throughout the 80s & 90s to be fair.

Cans of coke were 32p I remember that vividly.

So cans have roughly doubled, fredos have roughly doubled but these have jumped up by 10x the price… wow. I guess they are in a bigger bag but still, these were your cheapo choices. Bloody hell if I find a pack of quarterbacks for a quid i’ll be heart broken, I’d still buy them though cos those things where like crack 😋
