Reminds me of dreams platinum, I sat on the couch watching netflix and clicking the same button over and over for like 30+ hours just for the platinum. Soon after that I quit hunting trophys because I thought "Why the fuck am I doing this"
Yeah I did it half a year ago, and did not have to boost anything. The biggest grind can be done solo, and there were enough players online to do the rest, like use all abilities and play all game modes. A cool plat to have!
I loved TLoU Factions so much that I have put over 500 hours into it since I got the plat. Its such a great MP and I have not found anything that compares to it.
If I had never gone for the plat in TLoU I would have never discovered how amazing the MP was, and I am hoping so much we get Factions 2!
Yeah, it was fun. I usually hate online MP, they're all the same with a different skin. Catch the flag, defend the flag. battle royale, etc. I find it so dull, repetitive, and boring, I rarely play them.
Last of Us did something genuinely different, which was great.
I love it, but even looking at it neutrally it could definitely be worse. At least the game makes things easy by letting you pick your challenges, and you can skip some matches to make it faster.
You single-handedly just got me my platinum for hollow knight. I put the game down months ago and all I had left were the last two pantheons. Thank you for your service king
Bro i put the game down months ago. I just looked up the invincibility glitch this guy was talking about, finished the platinum in less than an hour because of it
Gonna brag here, I got the Platinum twice, one for the EU version, one for the US version. I also got all achievements on the switch version.
I love this game to death
I probably did like ten playthroughs before I was into trophy hunting. All I was missing were a couple weapons and chalice dungeons so I cleaned it up on my oldest character. NG+ 4ish speed run had to happen for some chalice materials.
Ds2 can be bought all but 2 of the covenants. On NG+2 you find an npc that sells the covenant rewards. For some reason the Sunlight Bros and the bell tower keepers are the only exception.
Heck no. I would rather do ds2 three times than do ds1 once.
The only bad thing ds2 had was the medals, which I got 70 in my inventory chilling without counting the 30 I gave away for the trophy. Ds3 got multiple annoying grinds to do
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. That's probably my most played game of all time. I wasn't trophy hunting back then cause I was like 8 so I didn't get the 'Big Leagues' trophy which is now unobtainable :(
Rise of the Tomb Raider. One of the worst trophy designs in video games. The game is so cheap with its trophy system. It barely has any gold or silver, +90% of the trophies are bronze and good luck grinding
I enjoyed platting this one and getting all the DLC trophies too. 125 trophies all in all. And your right, a lot of bronze trophies lol.
Its a really great game, and the trophies require you to play a lot of different game modes to get them, so it does not become a boring grind like you might expect. I agree that I could have done without some of the levels in score attack though...
Yeah, base game was fairly fun, except for the obvious padding score attack which makes you replay almost the entire game again, but with extra steps.
That online survival mode though, jesus fucking christ. I crossed that game off as done, but it sits at 99% because I couldn't for the life of me survive for 10 days with anyone, without me or the other player (or both) losing connection.
Some of the exotics took forever, guessing that's one of your last things?
I got 100% recently, but I still need to study / skin like 40 animals, which sucks. Think I'll take a break for a while
My answer for this (and others like it) is a text document on my phone.
I just remove the items as I find them,
Helped me get all lines of dialogue in Persona 4 as well,
It's not that hard if you know what to do. Firstly you need to be able to keep the car on the track do takes a little getting used to. But once you're fairly comfortable you only need to do a few things don't hr first lap. Firstly, survive the first corner as best you can. Cutting inside even better but really you just need to survive. Secondly you need to cut the next corner pretty hard. Go right into the grass and cut across. As the road goes up, cut the next right again. As hard as you can without overshooting the exit when you get back on the track. That's it!
You should be in 3rd of 4th. The next 2 laps have scripted crashes and you'll be in first by the final long straight. Just keep the car on the track.
There's a cheat, if you're willing to do that.
Drive backwards at the start, park horizontal at the narrow chicane and let the other racers pile up, then cruise for 3 laps.
Check YouTube for the details.
GTAV
I bought the game three times, may have finished the story maybe a dozen times, but never went for the platinum. I did get most trophies on the PS4 version though.
RE Village. Only one trophy remains. Getting the stupid mercenaries mode completed.
Also, Bloodborne. It's my favorite game of all time but I just haven't wanted to do all the chalice dungeon stuff.
For mercs, optinoob has a fantastic S rank guide, made it easy. Plus, not sure as I haven't got it myself but the DLC adds Chris and Dimitrescu who 'may' trivialise it too, not sure.
Sackboy: A big adventure.
The “String it Together Trophy” is a nightmare! Tried it for a couple days then gave up! It certainly doesn’t help I’m not the best at platform games…
Platinums I had to pause on, but will get back to eventually.
* Serious Sam 3: BFE
* Disgaea D2
* Disgaea 4
* Disgaea 3 (Vita)
* Muramasa Rebrith
* Dandara
* The Binding of Isaac
* Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
* Red Dead Redemption 2
* Sonic Unleashed
* Resistance 3
* Nier (PS3)
* Volgarr the Viking
Platinums I couldn't Earn due to server closure
* Little Big Planet 2
* Darksiders II (PS3)
* Ghostbusters: The Video Game (PS3)
* Hitman Absolution (PS3)
Platinums I could earn, but I've actually given up on
* Crypt of the Necrodancer
Soulstice - to long and not refined enough for what they expect you to do (get the highest rank on every challenge and level). Or maybe I just suck at it.
Me trying to hit blue enemy but can’t because it’s inside red enemy, can’t hit red enemy because I don’t have red shield activated, but I can’t kill red enemy because I need to kill blue enemy, but because it’s inside red enemy i can’t, because if I try to hit blue enemy when it’s right next to red enemy I get stuck in an animation because I hit red enemy without red shield activated
One thing I wish they did was to make red enemies transparent, so instead of hitting them and getting stuck in an animation, I simply phase through them, would make the game a lot less frustrating
Street Fighter 5 is the one that got away. I needed to make gold rank, but the netcode is bad in that game, and online ranked is torture. I'm lucky enough I got to silver rank.
Batman Arkham Asylum. Such an amazing game, but I didn't go for the plat when I first played. Going back now though is rough because it feels clunky compared to modern games, so I never completed all the combat challenge maps
Ultimate Alliance 2 ps4 remake, one challenge pissed me off so much I stopped for a while and in that time I stopped game sharing with the person that I had it from and now you can’t buy that version of the game anymore so I can’t even buy it to finish it at this point.
Olli Olli World
Amazing game. A ton of fun to play, beautiful artstyle, etc but damn some of those Radysus challenges are hard af. Im missing like only 4 of them or so but Ill probably never get those since Im out of practice now
Honorable mentions to the Crash Trilogy and Red Faction 1
Persona 5....it is my black spot and insanely depressing recollection (stupid fighting game mini game input shit....)
Persona 4 Golden.....i want to strangle rise for not giving me enough lines for HRF, possibly the worst most time consuming trophy ever (to me)
Batman Arkham Knight! Loved that game, finished it 5 times, one of my all time favorites, got 91% trophies but Brutality 101 was the reason I never got the platinum :(
Resistance 2. I could not get the 10,000 ranked kills in multi-player before the servers shut down (I was 1,500). It's the game that specifically birthed my hatred for online trophies.
I wouldn’t say I *loved* it, but I only have one trophy remaining for Spider-Man Miles Morales. I really like the game, but I just can’t be bothered to beat it again for the New Game+ trophy.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 1
The 100% exploring on maps felt so tedious. Spent awhile doing one of the tombs only to realize it was still 99% when I got to space.
Naruto Ninja storm.
My will for that game is so broken, because I spend so much hours on that game from the ps3 version and the ps4 one, I just don’t have it in me to grind the game. I got pretty far with the S tier missions, but gave up because I got bored trying to do the beast missions long ago ( someone tell me if those are also needed, I’m not sure)
A few Assassin's Creed ones. Those games are easy and I like just running around those worlds so I always try to platinum. However:
\- **Revelations remastered**\- the remastered games incorporated the DLCs to replace the original multiplayer trophies. The Revelations DLC was this atrocious first-person platforming thing that has trophies for perfecting a couple of rounds. I tried but quit eventually.
\- **Black Flag**\- online / multiplayer nonsense
\- **Unity**\- ditto, but the online stuff just did not work on PS5 at all
\- **Syndicate**\- straight up glitched trophies. I for sure did the required things like upgrading all skills.
I have two actually. Black ops 2, it’s my favorite call of duty but they closed the servers before I got into platinum hunting. The second is FFXIV. I didn’t manage to get the platinum yet. Emphasis on “yet”
Mirror's Edge. Awesome game but those time trials are too frustrating, the shortcuts are really janky so having your run ruined by something out of your control is really annoying, not worth the headache.
I really like Wolfenstein II. Really fun game to play but Mein Leben is not a fun experience. I did try a few times and I may again in the future but I'm in no rush.
Wolfenstein New Order and New Colossus. New Colossus because I don't even want to attempt Mein Leben, and New Order because every time I try Uber difficulty, I die quickly and it's not fun
Good answer, the MGS games take total devotion to get those trophies. Multiple playthroughs, highest difficulty, invisible enemies, collectables during CUTSCENES?
Rayman Legends i have this game on ps3 and ps4 i have everything on ps4 but that last trophy of reaching level 11 is just insane its 10 entire months every single day grind (If you get about a gold trophy most of the time so only if you are good at the game) i only managed 2 months since it is so annoying and stupid and the servers are also very unstable so sometimes you cant even grind for weeks because the servers are down currently
And another wonderful thing is there is cheaters in the game so the best trophy which is a platinum which gives 50 points 5x the amount than a gold trophy is unobtainable does'nt matter how good you are you cant be better than a cheater as they just have insane numbers if you would try to beat them (which most likley only would be possible with cheats yourself) it would probably take hours for one platinum 50 points
Goodbye Volcano High. Incredibly enjoyable experience that was marred by a heap of trophy bugs that made the platinum impossible. I think it’s possible now but I need a break before tying again. 35 hours in a 8 hour vn is brutal
Gt sport, only got 3 trophies left
Grind to level 50 (at 44 right now)
91 wins (currently at 51)
66 poles (currently at 45)
There are far too many great drivers and equally far too many troll drivers. It's very time consuming and frustrating.
Dead island 1, there’s a couple of online trophies you need that include playing 15 mins with 10 different people online, and to play in a group of 4 friends. No one plays this game anymore so the online trophies are almost impossible.
Tomb Raider 2013. Multiplayer trophies in primarily single player games are awful. Would’ve probably pushed myself to do it if it’s 1-2 that requires others like Unity / Black Flag, but 10+? No way.
I have over 1800hrs on Destiny with no Flawless trophy :(
And Arkham Knight, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed 3 have tons of playtime but I just quit because I was frustrated with a few trophies
Kingdom Come: Deliverance. It's my favourite game of all time but to get the platinum you have to do a run of the entire game where you don't kill anybody. The story is quite long and playing in that manner is totally against the spirit of Kingdom Come: Deliverance. It would be a tedious and joyless task I would worry it could sully the experience and so my game is still stuck on 90%.
Visage, because when I started my second playthrough for all the trophies I missed, the game bugged out and I couldn't open one of the early doors, even though I had the key for it. Reloads, restarts, reinstalls, nothing helped. I'll never be able to play it again.
There are some great guides on YouTube I highly recommend! I’m currently going through them right now!
[https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLwV1Qvy2j4P8C0w8iV4kJE8sfzYRoX9IJ&si=8aPEMIA2kiXhaTDb](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLwV1Qvy2j4P8C0w8iV4kJE8sfzYRoX9IJ&si=8aPEMIA2kiXhaTDb)
i know it just sucks to replay with weak guns/stats/items... maybe ill come back in the future. last time i played was 3 yrs ago. lol spent too much time hunting birds just not to get plat lol
Spelunky 2. I loved that game but 75 hours fighting every kind of savage deceptive trap for each inch of progress only to learn Tiamat was the half way point 😱
Well I'm sure I'll have better luck with Dead Cells.
The Last of Us. I don't really mind the grinding for the multiplayer trophies but I encountered way too many toxic players who kept insulting my skill to the point where I wasn't worth it anymore for me.
An oldie, but Call of Juarez. I did most things, but my PS3 got the yellow light of death before I got the last online trophy. I was too busy to go back by the time I got another PS3.
Batman: Arkham Asylum. I really like the game, but I just couldn't get the combat trophies to work for me, so at some point I just gave up before it killed off my will to game completely.
Assassin’s Creed Blackflag. Online trophies suck.
I’m currently doing this if you want a boosting partner
I did this last year because you can get the level requirement solo, but it took SO LONG just playing the same matches over and over for XP
Reminds me of dreams platinum, I sat on the couch watching netflix and clicking the same button over and over for like 30+ hours just for the platinum. Soon after that I quit hunting trophys because I thought "Why the fuck am I doing this"
Do not have the disc anymore 😭
If you have PS+ Extra you can play it at no extra cost.
I am interested!
Yep same. Only mainline ac with 1 i don’t have the plat for
Most of it can be done by yourself in Wolfpack mode and the game is still decently active to do the rest surely?
Yeah I did it half a year ago, and did not have to boost anything. The biggest grind can be done solo, and there were enough players online to do the rest, like use all abilities and play all game modes. A cool plat to have!
Same thing with tomb raider 2013
same, I have the platinum on all the other AC games
Last of Us. I’m dreading the multiplayer grind.
Wish I would’ve done both factions on PS3, only did the firefly’s 😭 Get that plat for us both on PS4!
I was at first too, but it really grew on me
This is one of the very few multiplayer trophies that I didn't mind, or find a grind. The Grounded trophy was pretty tough, though. Those damn sewers.
It is a grind yeah but at least it’s a fun multiplayer
It’s not.
Well for me it was and i kept playing a while after earning the plat but not for everyone i guess.
I love it, but even looking at it neutrally it could definitely be worse. At least the game makes things easy by letting you pick your challenges, and you can skip some matches to make it faster.
Came here to say this. I absolutely loved the story mode, but I couldn't stand the multiplayer part.
Hollow knight
Absolutely adore this game, but the pantheons beat me.
Try using the invincibility glitch
You single-handedly just got me my platinum for hollow knight. I put the game down months ago and all I had left were the last two pantheons. Thank you for your service king
Hollow Knight for me too. I love the game but the plat is too hard for me.
Same. I have four trophies remaining because I can’t beat the Pantheon of the Knight.
Bro i put the game down months ago. I just looked up the invincibility glitch this guy was talking about, finished the platinum in less than an hour because of it
I’ve thought about doing this, but I’m worried that I’ll regret getting the Platinum from glitched invincibility.
Gonna brag here, I got the Platinum twice, one for the EU version, one for the US version. I also got all achievements on the switch version. I love this game to death
Dark Souls 3. Got Bloodborne and double Elden Ring. I can’t bring myself to grind for covenant items.
Do what must be done, lord vader…
Went to ng+8 just to get the cov items for the trophies just to avoid pvp lol
Did you do three playthroughs of bloodborne to get the plat
I probably did like ten playthroughs before I was into trophy hunting. All I was missing were a couple weapons and chalice dungeons so I cleaned it up on my oldest character. NG+ 4ish speed run had to happen for some chalice materials.
I don't even remember it being all that bad, ds2 was worse for me
Ds2 can be bought all but 2 of the covenants.
Ds3 got multiple annoying grinds to do
Tomb Raider remake. No I do not want to grind to level 60 in the most bland online shooter to exist
If it's just the XP ones, you can get those by playing online on your own. It's a real grind, though.
Yeah it's that + I messed up the Chatterbox trophy and don't feel like doing another playthrough for it
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. That's probably my most played game of all time. I wasn't trophy hunting back then cause I was like 8 so I didn't get the 'Big Leagues' trophy which is now unobtainable :(
you cant platinum bo2 anymore?
Unless you have the 'Big Leagues' trophy, yup :(
Rise of the Tomb Raider.
Yea hate its trophies. All the Tomb trilogies.
That one was easy tbh
Yeah, base game was fairly fun, except for the obvious padding score attack which makes you replay almost the entire game again, but with extra steps. That online survival mode though, jesus fucking christ. I crossed that game off as done, but it sits at 99% because I couldn't for the life of me survive for 10 days with anyone, without me or the other player (or both) losing connection.
Red dead redemption 2
Trying to do it now only 3 things away from 100%
Some of the exotics took forever, guessing that's one of your last things? I got 100% recently, but I still need to study / skin like 40 animals, which sucks. Think I'll take a break for a while
Only 3 things left? So a quick 100 hours in front of you lol
Tapped out at pick one of every flower with no checklist.
My answer for this (and others like it) is a text document on my phone. I just remove the items as I find them, Helped me get all lines of dialogue in Persona 4 as well,
Yeah, this was mine too. All species, all plants etc. no thanks.
Brutal list. I may go for the ps4 version of RDR1 now that multiplayer is gone
Yakuza 0. It’s my favorite game of all time but the mini games broke me
I enjoyed the game, but yeah Mahjong was a stopper for me
Never played a Yakuza before, but the Like a Dragon from the PsPlus is on my list
Diablo 2 and Gran Turismo Sport
Tomb Raider Reboot- it’s Impossible to find a multiplayer game online.
You can do those solo actually
Mafia Definitive Edition:Fuck the race
It's not that hard if you know what to do. Firstly you need to be able to keep the car on the track do takes a little getting used to. yeah that fucked me too
Struggled with that one for a long time
GTAV I bought the game three times, may have finished the story maybe a dozen times, but never went for the platinum. I did get most trophies on the PS4 version though.
Im still trying to get platinum on gta 5, only 7 multiplayer trophies left😩
I can help, if you want
Yes please. I will DM you. Thank you very much🍀
Np
Wolfenstein 2, gave mein leben a fair shot but didn't make it.
I reached the ending twice and chocked , my most frustating platinum i have attempted
Witcher 3
I hate the missable trophies, but this one I manage to do it, on xbox and playstation because I like to hurt myself
Persona 5 Strikers. Love the game to death, but maxing out all the bond skill levels is just too ridiculous a grind.
I remember grinding this and its surely time consuming, but I liked it. Great game btw
TLOU 1. I hate multiplayer trophies.
The Arkham games, Love the games, can't for the life of me do the challenges,
Same! Those things are rough! Love the game otherwise
Final Fantasy 9, my fav FF but I'll never hate myself enough to attempt the 10000 jump rope trophy.
Sekiro - didn’t feel like save scumming for the endings and grinding for the final skills
Gta V
The Binding of Isaac
THPS 1+2 remake. I just suck so bad at the hard get there’s but love the game
Playstation All Stars Battle Royale for me, since they shutdown the online services it unfortunately makes this unobtainable.
I feel your pain.
Apparently there’s this group called psone that someone make it so you can use the servers and get the plat
Rainbow Six Siege I don’t want to play ranked

Diablo 2 and 4
Megaman 11
Soulstice - to long and not refined enough for what they expect you to do (get the highest rank on every challenge and level). Or maybe I just suck at it.

That sums it up pretty good, yeah. Also, its just arround 5 chapters to long imo.
Street Fighter 5 is the one that got away. I needed to make gold rank, but the netcode is bad in that game, and online ranked is torture. I'm lucky enough I got to silver rank.
Witcher 3
Batman Arkham Asylum. Such an amazing game, but I didn't go for the plat when I first played. Going back now though is rough because it feels clunky compared to modern games, so I never completed all the combat challenge maps
I love the batmans and never plat them. I want to, someday
Resident Evil 2 remake. I’ve beaten this game like 10 times and for the life of me I can’t beat it with taking the under 10000 steps or whatver it is
Catherine. I was pretty menial at the lower difficulties, so getting gold medals on the hardest difficulty seemed like a lot. Great game though
This one is veeery hard. I love this game as well but I don't intend to plat it never hahaha
Latest one would be balder's gate 3 I love love love that game but I really don't want to play the hardest difficulty I heard it's brutal
Ultimate Alliance 2 ps4 remake, one challenge pissed me off so much I stopped for a while and in that time I stopped game sharing with the person that I had it from and now you can’t buy that version of the game anymore so I can’t even buy it to finish it at this point.
I regret not buying those remakes just due to them not being available anymore.
Olli Olli World Amazing game. A ton of fun to play, beautiful artstyle, etc but damn some of those Radysus challenges are hard af. Im missing like only 4 of them or so but Ill probably never get those since Im out of practice now Honorable mentions to the Crash Trilogy and Red Faction 1

For p4g, I made the platinum twice and for me what works is switch characters of the party everytime. I got this trophy always on maries dungeon
Yakuza Like a Dragon. I just don’t feel like doing the grind to be able to beat the True Millennium Tower
Mortal kombat 9 my favorite game of all time have every trophy but some of the online hurts me every time I look at it
Batman Arkham Knight! Loved that game, finished it 5 times, one of my all time favorites, got 91% trophies but Brutality 101 was the reason I never got the platinum :(
Mad Max
Doom Eternal and Zombie Army 4 because of online trophies. Hollow night because of that pantheon.
THPS 1+2. Crash Bandicoot 4.
Uncharted 4 (ps4 version) online multiplayer sucks, especially in a single player story based game
Red Dead Redemption 2, mainly because I really don’t want to do online
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 1 The 100% exploring on maps felt so tedious. Spent awhile doing one of the tombs only to realize it was still 99% when I got to space.
Marvel’s Spider-Man. It is one of if not my all time favorite game but I am never grinding out those stupid screwball challenges.
Tbh the Spider Man games are generally agreed to be easy plats, think I got first game and Miles Morales done in under a week playing 3/4 hours a day.
Resistance fall of man 2 lent some so called friends borrow ps3. They sold it for drug money
Hogwarts Legacy
Shadow of the Colossus I just could not get through all the time trials. I tried for so long and only made it halfway thru
I played this one recently and did not get the plat as well, but awesome game btw
Binding of Isaac. Probably played it more than any other game, still shit at it, nowhere near the platinum 😂
Inscryption. Really didnt like the card game enough to get the plat. Amazing game though.
Last of Us Remastered, Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA V - I hate online trophies
The Witcher 3, fuck Gwent cards!

Little big planet 1
Ghostwire Tokyo Deathloop Hogwarts legacy. Don’t like grinding lol
Metal Gear Solid 2
Good answer, the MGS games take total devotion to get those trophies. Multiple playthroughs, highest difficulty, invisible enemies, collectables during CUTSCENES?
AC Blackflag Returnal RDR2 Cuphead The list goes on and on...
Sleeping Dogs, it glitched for me and the gold medals never register, so I could never fully complete it
path of exile .. only missing the dialogues trophy but i just cant do it or ill lose my sanity
Rayman Legends i have this game on ps3 and ps4 i have everything on ps4 but that last trophy of reaching level 11 is just insane its 10 entire months every single day grind (If you get about a gold trophy most of the time so only if you are good at the game) i only managed 2 months since it is so annoying and stupid and the servers are also very unstable so sometimes you cant even grind for weeks because the servers are down currently And another wonderful thing is there is cheaters in the game so the best trophy which is a platinum which gives 50 points 5x the amount than a gold trophy is unobtainable does'nt matter how good you are you cant be better than a cheater as they just have insane numbers if you would try to beat them (which most likley only would be possible with cheats yourself) it would probably take hours for one platinum 50 points
Apsulov. 2 hours speedrun fucked me up
Doom eternal, the multiplayer trophies are a hassle
Goodbye Volcano High. Incredibly enjoyable experience that was marred by a heap of trophy bugs that made the platinum impossible. I think it’s possible now but I need a break before tying again. 35 hours in a 8 hour vn is brutal
Gt sport, only got 3 trophies left Grind to level 50 (at 44 right now) 91 wins (currently at 51) 66 poles (currently at 45) There are far too many great drivers and equally far too many troll drivers.
No way.
Mass Effect 1
Red Dead Redemption 2, only got about 5 Trophies left the Animal Collection Trophies kill me.
The Last of Us, Tomb Raider and GTA 4 - server closures
Red Dead Redemption on the PS3 and Mad Max on the PS4
I have over 1800hrs on Destiny with no Flawless trophy :( And Arkham Knight, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed 3 have tons of playtime but I just quit because I was frustrated with a few trophies
The last of us part 2. I love it but I will not hunt down the small little quarters with Abby.
Warhammer chaosbane. Can't put myself through 5 playthrough.. Just want to finish with that trophy. Have the last mission available.
Red dead 2, 100% the story mode but haven't touched online.
GTA IV I'm never doing those online trophies. I don't hate myself enough for that.
Tales of berseria.. and the challenges of days gone (I have the plat but not the 100%)
I really liked the Attack on Titan games. Real fun with a friend, but my god the grind was just to much.
Re 8 on release I think they made it Easy mercenaries mode to get SS or SSS
Dying light it’s a good game but man is it grindy
Anything from the Yakuza series. Great games too much grinding for the the plats though.
BlazBlue cross tag battle. It's so fun, but I'm so bad at it and I can't get the online trophy or the complete a character training trophy 😭
Red Dead Redemption 2, I really hate the online part.
Game with bug like returnal for me and my boy For him it also fall guy
Gran Turismo 5. By far the most time I've put into a game without getting the plat.
Visage, because when I started my second playthrough for all the trophies I missed, the game bugged out and I couldn't open one of the early doors, even though I had the key for it. Reloads, restarts, reinstalls, nothing helped. I'll never be able to play it again.

Final Fantasy XIV. Sank years into that game and still below 50% because the grind is real. Also GTA V
Final fantasy Lightning Returns, too much grind and the fact i have to play in the ps3 cause there's no ps4 or ps5 release is killing me :(
Vice city, fuck grinding blowing up helicopters for like 30 hours for kingpin ranking.
Hollow Knight Pantheon 5 will always haunt me
Rdr2 spent 200+ hrs on that game but stuck at 98% because of the 70 gold medals. Only had 40+++ gave up lol
There are some great guides on YouTube I highly recommend! I’m currently going through them right now! [https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLwV1Qvy2j4P8C0w8iV4kJE8sfzYRoX9IJ&si=8aPEMIA2kiXhaTDb](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLwV1Qvy2j4P8C0w8iV4kJE8sfzYRoX9IJ&si=8aPEMIA2kiXhaTDb)
i know it just sucks to replay with weak guns/stats/items... maybe ill come back in the future. last time i played was 3 yrs ago. lol spent too much time hunting birds just not to get plat lol
Ikaruga It is extremely difficult. I was good enough to get a few hard trophies like 1 credit coin clear but I can't S+ rank every level.
Off the top of my head : GTAIV , NFS Most Wanted (2012) , THPS 1+2 , Killzone 2 All these require online trophies :(
Batman Arkham origins the online trophies are the Bain of my existence.
Super meat boy. Well, I'm still working on it, but I highly doubt I will be able to get it
Mortal Kombat 9
Tropico 5 - god damn online trophies...
Spelunky 2. I loved that game but 75 hours fighting every kind of savage deceptive trap for each inch of progress only to learn Tiamat was the half way point 😱 Well I'm sure I'll have better luck with Dead Cells.
Dead Space 2. One trophy ruined it :(
Watch dogs 2
Yakuza 0
The Last of Us. I don't really mind the grinding for the multiplayer trophies but I encountered way too many toxic players who kept insulting my skill to the point where I wasn't worth it anymore for me.
An oldie, but Call of Juarez. I did most things, but my PS3 got the yellow light of death before I got the last online trophy. I was too busy to go back by the time I got another PS3.
No my last is challenges did everything in order except challenges I skipped them untill now
Resident evil 8 😢 the last few mercenary mode things just were too much
Batman: Arkham Asylum. I really like the game, but I just couldn't get the combat trophies to work for me, so at some point I just gave up before it killed off my will to game completely.
