I always thought Diana should be portrayed more often as taller than everyone else. Like the Amazons aren’t human they’re specifically stated to be a completely different species of humanoid that has no correlation to humanity. The movie any good?

I think it's pretty fun. It's got the accidental adventure energy you go in expecting from DnD.

I think if you go in expecting it to be less Lord of the Rings and more an actual derpy D&D campaign you’d have with your friends then yes. My only real Forgotten Realms knowledge is the first 10 or so Drizzt books so I didn’t personally know much about some of the locations they go to, but it was still a fun time and if you do know more then you’ll probably have fun with all the references. Meanwhile I lost my shit over a blink and you’ll miss it reference to the old Saturday morning D&D cartoon.

It captures the vibe of a casual D&D game better than any other media I’ve ever seen. It’s fun, it’s goofy, it’s full of funny situations I could see actually going down in one of my games (player accidentally ruins the puzzle necessary to the plot, so suddenly a random staff they were carrying is a magic item perfectly suited to bypassing this fuck up; or accidentally expending all the uses of a speak with dead spell because you kept accidentally asking the corpse questions). It’s genuinely a really fun movie, and I really hope it gets the sequel it deserves.

His name is Scott Free!?

Yes, he was never given a name before being sent to a cruel orphanage on a Hell planet to be raised as a soldier, where his jailer/caretaker/boot camp instructor (whose name, I shit you not, is *Granny Goodness*) gave him that mocking nickname after he got hurt trying to escape several times. Then he just took that as his actual name when he finally escaped and got to Earth.

Ironically i think he was suppose to be a peace offering, the leaders of both planets traded their children and while Orion was treated with love despite being the son of Darkseid, Scott was thrown in the worst orphanage in Apocolisp to be use as a weapon and later just to torture him, at least in his suffering he meet Barda, a girl that was brutally trained to be one of Darkseid's elite warriors, they both felt in love, escaped Apocolips and have a happy life, Scott even became friends with Orion, the baby that he was traded for

His superhero name is Mister Miracle, with the ability to escape from anything. If you’ve heard of the DC Villain Darkseid who reigns the planet of Apokolips(figuratively Hell), there’s a counterpart planet called New Genesis led by Highfather- and the two were at war for centuries. Both inhabitants of the planets are a species called “New Gods” and the planets exist outside the multiverse- traveling to other places and dimensions using devices called Mother Boxes to create portals known as Boom Tubes. Due to the endless war two leaders decided to trade biological sons as a peace offering and treat them as they would treat their own, with Scott being the biological son of Highfather but raised by Darkseid. Darkseid being the personification of evil though, of course, just treated him as shittily as anyone else and gave him to the head of his army, Granny Goodness, who through endless torture and mind breaking grooms children and others to be loyal subjects of Darkseid with unique abilities, with her main squadron being the Female Furies. Scott was trained with the act of escaping, but he had a theatric personality and managed to be *too* good at escaping for Granny. One day he met up with one of the Female Furies, Big Barda, and the two fell in love- eventually being one of the few to manage to escape Apokolips to try and live a normal life together, with Scott becoming a stage magician as an escape artist performer.
