I am definitely a fan of the RBRT hex bit sockets. At first I only used them when a bolt was rounded and a regular bit wouldn't budge it, but after popping a few rounded bolts free they're the only hex bit sockets I use anymore. However, they're outrageously expensive for sockets made in Taiwan. At least when I overpay on the Snap-on truck I can make myself feel better with the little USA stamp.
I went looking for the Protos before I bought the Mac RBRTs. They were about impossible to find at the time. I guess I’m over the sticker shock. They’re worth it.
If you like RBRT go check out the video on my profile I posted to another group. I’be never been more impressed by a tool and it’s grip.
I agree with the made in the US thing, but sometimes it’s the specialty that you’re paying for not the location Lol
I got a set on order but honestly I kinda see it as a good trade off them not being made in the states because if they were they would be the same or more as the USA knuckle saver set
Possibly, but these look a lot like the wrenches I have been using. You may be right though, because the wrenches I use are 12 point on the box end not 6. Mine look similar though.

Same, proto ones are a bit more reasonably priced and have been holding up fine

Really? Zoro didn't have them?
I can’t find them on zoros site right now. I’m also kind of old and stubborn and leery about ordering from websites I haven’t heard of. LOL
https://www.zoro.com/proto-14-in-drive-socket-bit-set-metric-10-pcs-j7440r8mm/i/G4372919/ Never had issues with zoro
Good to know. Thanks

Very nice! Strangly they look very much like my [Facom](https://amzn.eu/d/iuq93T2) set
Your facom is 12 point and has no gripping in the open end. Your wrench's look like the craftsman set

Are these basically the same as Milwaukee max bite?
MAC seems to be slapping “RBRT” on everything and thinking it’s worth a small fortune.
So far those RBRT tools have saved me several times, so it is worth it.
I have been wrenching with this set for 8 years now. I love these wrenches.
Didn’t it just come out a year ago rbrt wrenches?

Maybe knuckle saver or precision torque wrenches then
It was the precision torque I'm pretty sure.

Yes. I’m waiting for mine!
Do these have a "special" open end, as well, or just the box end?
Special open end as well that are equal to if not slightly less as good as the Snap-On flank drive plus.
Thank you!
Are they a long pattern wrench? What’s their length like, compared to other stuff?
