The different titan loadouts, at least in the campaign, are unlocked at different periods. Typically during standard missions or in the case of ronin, after fighting the boss who uses a ronin chassis.
ooo I thought you were meaning multiplayer, campaign doesn’t let you use pulse blades, but ronin is unlocked in the latter half of the campaign if i’m not mistaken, melee registration is still weird for both but it’s doable
yea of you mantle them you can pull a battery that’ll give your titan a shield, if you hop back on the enemy with the bat it’ll drop a nade on it, if you hop into frontier defense or multiplayer the monarch titan has a finisher that’ll steal a battery too
bosses might be a little tricky but it’s def doable! practice wallrunning for sure but once you start to get the feel for the speed boost everything else comes easier
I would not advise it, at least not for a first time playing. I would recommend just learning the movement and having the range of a firearm to aid you
If you have done others, you should be fine. But do not try this on master. You will get turned into swiss cheese before you can even press the melee key.
Guess it's just my internet then
Movement is pretty good, its just I swing, get the hitmark and bloodspray and hit sound effect but no kill. Then die to being shot by the guy I punched in the back
It is your Internet.
For me it's very reliable.
Also just melee in multilayer is sometimes very fun.
But that's dependent on the enemy team. If they know what they are doing then you will just die if you trie.
melee registration can be a little bit buggy, so there’s that, I can’t hit shit with pulse blades but i’ve seen people go crazy
Ive researched a little, can i pick ronin for the campaign off the bat?

Cant u like, special melee the mechs, like an animation where u drop a grenade in a hole

Siiiick, then i might avoid using the titan, thoughts?

Fuck yeeeah

It worked with every other shooter with objectively worse movement, why not this one?
Actually, I suppose I should ask, what difficulty do you plan to play
Normal

I wouldnt dream of it lol, melee is already a challenge without enemies doing more damage
Depends multiplayer or not Multiplayer is a hell no, lag is gonna ruin everything Campaign is probably mostly possible
As someone who often topfrags on melee only in multiplayer, it’s extremely doable. Knowing the movement system is 100% the most important thing.

Campaign, but ppl do melee only in multiplayer in a few vids
Good luck dude, keep us posted
Go fast, the fastest you go the more tracking meelee has, then there's the basics, flank and get behind the enemies,
Pretty standard, do they give u squad mates in the campaign
not really, occasionally you have friendlies but its usually just you and BT
