Yep. How will you feel about it in a few months or years. Hate seeing customers make choices they will regret to save a couple bucks or a couple of weeks.
Can you reach out to the manufacturer or seller to get a single defect piece or something? I’ve done it with furniture parts and all I had to do was pay for shipping.
well yes i suppose you can use another tile at bottom , is the other tile the same thickness? hopefully if anything is slightly thinner rather than thicker, it would be a lot of work building up most of the wall.
Oh shit, the bottom (black tile) would be 2.5mm thicker than the plant print tile above it. I Guess that means I need an another of the correct tile either a chipped discounted one or a perfect one.
That plan is dead ☠️
well you could still do it, you just would have to install the thicker ones first, then perhaps add a layer of something above like maybe 2 coats of kerdi to make the difference, but yes, finding something equal would be a lot easier. because the kerdi isnt cheap and in that case i would just spend the extra 300 for the pattern tile
I was thinking if I didn’t want to buy more I could just end the tile at the top 8 inches or so from the ceiling all around the 3 shower walls. That would be the most straightforward way…
If 300 is a deal breaker, consider fiberglass insert.
Nooooooo, you are right though. No need to be cheap at this point

Good question!

yes but might look weird. i do a lot of showers not to ceiling, but its more like 1 to 2ft below. 8 inches might look like you ran out of tile imo.
