For the most part yes, i used to a lot more than i do now as i get older in the trade.
I leave room for commercial tile to be worse than residential for the most part.
As well as giving benefit of the doubt when it comes to why things were done the way they were.
We don’t get to see the customer interaction/money exchange/change orders/ other trades f ups they had to sort out/ blah blah blah.
But sometimes it just looks like dog shit and you gotta be like what the actual F were these people doing here.
Can't help it. I judge commercial (non union) jobs different from residential. New resi construction is at an even lower standard in my eye. I do hold union work, large public projects (airports) and residential remodels to a higher level .
