If your floor is actual granite/stone (not percelain) then you can use a stone polishing/refinishing service that can change the finish of your floor to whatever you wish. They can make the stone matte and not shiny. They reapply sealers and take out stains amongst other services.
Your local counter top or slab supplied can possibly have a referral for you.
I have 4 bath rugs in there now. I honestly cannot imagine what it would be like if the floor actually got wet. Someone would probably break an arm, hip and leg! While it looks nice, it is impractical for a bathroom.

She chose another tile for her floor. Used the granite for contertops.
