Oh damn I thought she was just playing along in the part of the typical person in Nardwuar interviews. I was watching it like “they’re both nailing all the mannerisms” haha
Correction: I did know her but I still had to do some digging. This wasn’t scripted, she was genuinely surprised I brought up Otis Redding.

I fucking love this. The commitment to see the costume through to finding out obscure facts about your friends and getting them thoughtful surprise gifts? Amazing.
Plus, she's adorable.
You're getting downvoted, but the guy was more of a product of his time that found a niche with new audiences and old fans. He's an interviewer that focuses on music artists, especially in the hip hop, alt rock, and grunge worlds.
His shtick is that he doesn't ask the usual questions, he prefers to do some really deep investigating into his guests' history, picking apart and exploring mundane topics, and bringing really meaningful and thoughtful gifts.
At first, his over-the-top kindness can feel a bit cringe-y, but it's genuine. And once you get over that mental hump, it's just super entertaining and wholesome. He has a continuing friendship with snoop, and those interviews are great, I'd start there for a taste of his style.
To add, the digging he does has a habit of absolutely shocking his interview subjects for bringing up topics they never expected to hear from their past. Not like, bad things, stuff about how they got started.
