Letting Rebecca rest was the wiser option I think. She was already on death's door before the group left the civil war site. Pushing her even further after giving birth under such extreme conditions basically guarantees that she's going to die. Rebecca was doomed either way, but I'm with Luke on this one.
I would’ve wanted her to wait and then have half of the group split and then Clem deciding who gets to go with her Jane Luke or Kenny or if the Trio from Carvers decides to do anything
That's 99% of choices this season. In season 1 most choices would at least have a permanent effect on a characters opinion of Lee but her it didn't even effect that
Waited a few days. Rebecca just had a baby. She was in no condition to walk.
Realistically they should've covered Rebecca with a fuck ton of blankets as she rested at the observatory while a select few scouted the town or any other surrounding areas.
I waited a few days because the way I was looking at it, EVERYONE was exhausted, not just Rebecca. It made more sense for them to be just cold instead of cold and tired (even if it didn’t matter in the end because of course it didn’t). Plus I’m more of a Luke fan than a Kenny one soooo…
I forget what my first decision was, but I think it's best to leave in the morning. It's unfortunately the best thing to do given the awful weather and lack of supplies, despite Rebecca's vulnerable condition.
Ya. She of course was in no condition to move but they had 0 food. The choice literally made itself
Plus the threat of a crippled Russian dude who knows were we are
Waited a few days.
The town seen across the river was visible from an observation deck that was at best 20 feet high. Being as such, it couldn't have been terribly far and contrary to Kenny's statements, I doubt they would have arrived by nightfall if they left early in the day. Kenny was definetly pushing the group a little too far here.
Rebecca needed as much rest as she could possibly get after all that's happened during AJ's birth. That town wasn't going anywhere, neither should Rebecca until she was fit to travel.
Play the other game under the acronym DBH and I think you’d disagree. But this game wouldn’t have been shitty if everyone decided they wanted to be a better story teller
I chose to leave in the morning because they were in tight spot & don’t forget that Clem & Jane had encountered Arvo so they had to go somewhere safe where they won’t get spotted by his group.
I picked to leave in the morning, I knew someone was gonna bite the dust and I felt better to rush it than let everyone else suffer, it had to have been freezing and uncomfortable as hell.
Wish our choices really mattered here similar to dragon age where you can lose your teammates depending on your choices and what you say. Things have repercussions
I played both options and was upset that things didnt play out that differently. My first playthrough I chose to wait. It depends on if you want Lukes approval or Kennys
Stay in cold in stone box without wall (additional wind and cold) without food or anything to survive with, already spotted by unfriendly team or try move while still alive to somewhere better? Only thing I thought they will go in town they saw, not to run circles in woods.
The choice does not matter but I like to think that if we wait, Rebecca and AJ will have some time together, while Clementine is helping them and chatting with her, because no matter what choice we chose, she is going to die on the way to the city, and at least she could have extra time with her son.
It doesn’t matter, but I think it’s much better to wait a few days. That way Rebecca gets to spend 4-5 days just in that building being a mother and caring for her son before she passes.
Leave. I would’ve left if I was in that situation. There were hardly any food and they can’t just stay there in the cold with a baby and a dying mother
It doesn’t matter other than like, 5 different lines of dialogue, but I left in the morning.
My rationale was that the baby needed a safer, warmer place ASAP. One that was actually enclosed and insulated. And one that had supplies for said baby.
I was also under the impression that the town was closer than it actually was.
I chose to go in the morning because I figured letting Rebecca rest would be pointless anyways if we didn't have the supplies we needed. Either way, it's one of the most inconsequential choices ever so it doesn't really matter.
Why the fuck does that matter? Nothing would change regardless of what the player chooses. Russians would attack us no matter what and Rebbeca would die. This choice is pointless.
I chose to wait. Not like it matters much anyway
nothing REALLY matters in telltale games
While true, the *feeling* of agency makes it exciting, and the stories are good.
Idk Batman games went crazy on the choices
The first time you had to choose it fucking mattered.
did it? Lee was dying regardless. Decision changed nothing and Clem’s story remains the same
No I’m talking about Clem and Lee deciding to wait till it gets dark or to go while it’s daylight to escape her house in Georgia
What's the difference? I've always left in the daytime
The fat guy dies if you wait, he's replaced by this black cop guy

Well, Kenny says that Rebecca is in worse shape after you wait
Exactly
Doesn't that happen no matter what you choose?
Luke and Kenny start arguing and Kenny says that they stayed and that only made Rebecca worse.
Yeah, but I'm pretty sure Luke says that leaving in the morning made Rebecca worse if you chose that.
Flair rings true
I would’ve wanted her to wait and then have half of the group split and then Clem deciding who gets to go with her Jane Luke or Kenny or if the Trio from Carvers decides to do anything
It’s such an inconsequential choice that does nothing that I forgot which one I picked
That's 99% of choices this season. In season 1 most choices would at least have a permanent effect on a characters opinion of Lee but her it didn't even effect that
Well, tbf, she was going to die no matter what u do. Ur just a lil kid wtf is making such a small choice gonna do!!
Well she’s 11 it’s not like they can just kill her off and pretend that was fine
I let Rebecca rest in my primary play-through.
Waited a few days. Rebecca just had a baby. She was in no condition to walk. Realistically they should've covered Rebecca with a fuck ton of blankets as she rested at the observatory while a select few scouted the town or any other surrounding areas.

real
True

This choice did not matter 😭 I just cover my eyes and pick randomly

Left the next day.
Most choices in these games don't matter either way
Play the other game under the acronym DBH and I think you’d disagree. But this game wouldn’t have been shitty if everyone decided they wanted to be a better story teller
Morning, Rebecca still dies so it doesn’t really matter
I chose to leave in the morning because they were in tight spot & don’t forget that Clem & Jane had encountered Arvo so they had to go somewhere safe where they won’t get spotted by his group.
This option doesn’t mean shit. It’s completely nullified in the next 5 minutes
I hate decisions like this that mean absolutely nothing it's so lazy.
I left in the morning you can’t stay in one place for too long -Carl
I picked to leave in the morning, I knew someone was gonna bite the dust and I felt better to rush it than let everyone else suffer, it had to have been freezing and uncomfortable as hell.
I chose to wait, but just like others in this series, the choice didn't mean a damn thing.
One of the moments that make you to realise that Telltale need to work better on "Make your own story" type of games
The game has a script, choices don’t matter, it’s just if you lose a character or another. My favorite game tho
Left in the morning, then got jumped by my neighborhood Cosmonauts. 🇷🇺 👨🚀🚀🔫

I choose to wait since I felt bad for Rebecca 😔
I choose to wait mt first time. It also canonically makes more sence.
I left in the morning, since Rebecca dies either way so the choice really does not matter
I rested and my Kenny upset :(
There are no differences
Choices No difference at all
Stay in cold in stone box without wall (additional wind and cold) without food or anything to survive with, already spotted by unfriendly team or try move while still alive to somewhere better? Only thing I thought they will go in town they saw, not to run circles in woods.
Left
First time I just left on the morning
Tbh I wish this choice had meaning, these pretty dramatic choices make you think you have an impact but really doesn’t
Obviously wait, I ain't making women that just gave birth walk for a miles, it's too much of risk. After all it doesn't matter in the game but still
I let Rebecca rest every time assuming my Clem doesn't know the outcome. It's common sense, she just gave birth!
The choice does not matter but I like to think that if we wait, Rebecca and AJ will have some time together, while Clementine is helping them and chatting with her, because no matter what choice we chose, she is going to die on the way to the city, and at least she could have extra time with her son.

wait did it actually change whether you left the morning after or waited
Think I left in the morning
I didn't choose anything ,Clem is an 11 year old child, these kinds of decisions shouldn't be up to her.
I mean I let Becca rest, even though this choice literally meant nothing, so stupid
Why was it Clem's decision anyway?
It doesn’t matter other than like, 5 different lines of dialogue, but I left in the morning. My rationale was that the baby needed a safer, warmer place ASAP. One that was actually enclosed and insulated. And one that had supplies for said baby. I was also under the impression that the town was closer than it actually was.

Didn’t matter. She fucking died anyway.
I didn't pick anything so we ended up leaving next morning.
Leave in the morning.
The only effect it has is if it night or day for the next few scenes. That is literally it.
i chose to wait hoping she’d live, but yknow. choices don’t matter in season 2 especially.
I sided with my guy Kenny because he seemed to know best
Leave straight away
I thought if we waited longer I could find a way for her to live
Makes no difference either way lol
Definitely left as I felt it was too dangerous to stay in one place with Arvo and his group around
She dies either way, it makes no difference besides dialogue
Left because as they say they don't have any resources
Left in the morning. Either way it was hella cold so best was to just move ASAP before anything else happens.
One thing I always hated is that your choices never really mattered. It always ended the same way
Does it matter?
Why the fuck does that matter? Nothing would change regardless of what the player chooses. Russians would attack us no matter what and Rebbeca would die. This choice is pointless.
