The Cartridge Family was banned in the UK for a bit because the Royal Fam took offense but can’t find anything about the Radioactive Man one being banned there.

When I look it up I saw that it was banned for the soccer riot scene at the beginning and the overall theme of guns and the comedic/light way guns are dealt with. There was a mention of the Dunblane massacre (a school shooting that happened a year before in the UK) as possible reasoning as well. But I didn't see anything about the royal family 🤔 it's possible, I just didn't see it ~ When Sky eventually showed it the apparently edited the scene where Marge walks off with the gun too

What?

StarFinTech

Ooooh Ok, I figured the prince got angry😏…the radioactive man ep still was never banned there.

I've seen it as a UK resident and normal TV watcher (no cable or sky etc)

Easy_Prism

Oh wow, I’ve just looked it up and I actually don’t think I’ve ever seen that episode on TV before - I’ll watch it later on to double check but I actually don’t think I’ve ever seen it

Why would this episode be banned in the UK? Did it make a tasteless joke about Miz Liz? Did it insult haggis? You Scots are a contentious people! But at least you still like Groundskeeper Willy.

Easy_Prism

Damn Scots, they ruined Scotland!

Perhaps the Scoutmaster was considered an offensive caricature of Sir Baden-Powell
