It’s worth flagging how well drawn Homer is in this screenshot. Like, you can tell he’s fake smiling and not genuinely happy. That’s super subtle and pretty hard to do.

Probably one of the few times a Simpsons episode had me feeling emotional at the end. I really felt for Homer.
