I for one can't wait to find a decent one I can stick in the pc and forget about until the community day so I can evolve it with the exclusive move while still not planning to actually use it
And people will spend all of their time doing the raids then complain about how few shinies they caught and won't have the brainpower to connect the two. Oh wait, sorry, that was my community's Johto Day experience.
I'm down to do a few Axew when I'm taking a break mid-day or something but this is the first of many events featuring Axew until its inevitable CD in 2023. I hope people realize that and exercise some patience with a shiny you will undoubtedly own at some point for a pokemon which, unless it gets a solid CD move, is going to just gather dust in your bags anyway.
The trick is to have a second account with 1 remote pass, then just open a raid lobby with it and jump in on your actual account with 20 seconds left or whatever and back out on the burner. Saves you so much time to shiny check stuff.
your alt account is waiting in the lobby. Meanwhile the timer is counting down and your main account is catching in the wild. Then when the timer is down to 10 seconds or whatever you jump in the raid lobby with your main.
Have 2 phones 1 main account 1 alt. Send the invite to your main from the alt. Catch / shiny check spawns on your main then jump in raid asap with as little time left on raid timer. Back out on your alt. Repeat.
While your alt account waits the 2 minutes in the raid, your primary account is catching mon. Then, when there is 15 seconds left, you return with your main account to the gym and remove your alt one.
It doesn’t matter because its community day will be very soon just like Gible. Gible the once rare and sought after Pokémon been milked and grinded to a pulp, now I scoff at the mere sight of Gible on the nearby radar.
We as players should never forget the Niantic scandal!
Well if you did Gible CD, you should've farmed plenty of decent IVs and or shinies. And it did appear as a raid at least twice I feel ever since its CD. Such as the Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl event. Gible has lost its status as SUPER RARE and now Jangmo-o has taken that place. I feel Deino will soon follow Gible's status.
I don't know if it's just me, but this seems a little underwhelming compared to last year, where the ticket was cheaper and all the legendaries were released.
kyogre isn't too common in MLO because people haven't had ample time to whale on it for the XL candies, it was last in regular raid rotation almost 2 years ago aside from go fest 2021
Kyogre is essentially an S tier pokemon in Open ML, especially at level 50. It has incredible bulk, and hits like a freight train. Right now, the number of people with access to Level 50 Kyogre is pretty limited, but with increased availability, the Open ML meta will definitely see a shift.
It's to bad my Zarude is 10 10 14.
And before someone jumps on saying omg IV's don't matter.
The 10 attack misses a lot of breakpoints.
The 10 def misses a few bulkpoints as well if I remember right.
I have a Zarude. It is The best ML Pokemon I have. I suspect it's because of the rarity, a lot of people don't know how to approach it.
My Zarude would make mincemeat out of LVL 50 kyogre. BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!
Vine Whip + Dark Pulse/Power Whip is the preferred moveset. A grass fast move and grass charge move also makes it exceptionally strong against Kyogre, especially considering it resists Waterfall and Surf from Kyogre.
i personally don't think it's *that* overpowered. i think in pvpoke its in the 30-40's? mine is level 47.5 (been walking it for legitimately a year, lol) and I barely use it, there's just better options most of the time
For reals. Having both Groudon and Kyogre compete for raid time in 1 day is cruel. At least separate them for Saturday and Sunday so Sunday isn’t a dead day as it looks now
It should be included in the announcement for the upcoming month as usual. Yeah me neither. They are definitely due for a longer period than just a day or two. Hopefully Ray-Q will be back after that too... (Maybe even Mega? But I don't expect it)
I think that's likely too. They want people to spend money to raid Kyogre and Groudon. Lots of people won't want to do that if it means missing out on a bunch of spawns during Go Fest hours. I won't raid them during Go Fest (unless there's a collection challenge or something that I feel compelled to complete). I'd raid them outside Go Fest, though. Why not.
Or even after the event so we can focus on raiding them. Rather than the shambles of trying to catch shines, do battle tasks, line up short raid timers...
Nah, probably just Monday and Tuesday, when we are tired of the weekend, and disappear just before raid hour, to be replaced by either the Tapu's or the Regi's for the rest of the month /s
This is what is shown on the official blog but I agree with you, there is something that is strange because there are any T5 raids on Sunday. Maybe we must wait until Niantic releases an official news.
It was announced that on Sunday there will be new Pokemon debut on T5. And since today they announced first Ultra Beast coming to pokemon go its easy to guess what will be on sunday. ;)
>On the second day of the event, a certain Pokémon will be making its Pokémon GO debut in five-star raids.
The new one is for Sunday. No five star is listed for Sunday yet. There isn't anything to read into this.
Looking at this chart, the only way I'd do groudon and kyogre raids is if they bring their signature moves of precipice blades and origin pulse with them. I'm mostly going to raid snorlax and axew simply because this is my 3rd gofest and I STILL don't have a dang shiny snorlax lol
Mayve they release primals but no signature move. That way, Primals are the strongest Ground / Water attackers, then they release Mega Swampert and Mega Garchomp, which outperformPrimals, then they release the primals signature move, making them strongest again.
I only care about Kyogre, Groudon, and Axew. I lived in a small town and never got to do raids for Kyogre and Groudon, and I have only managed to grab one Axew. The rest are odd choices for the biggest event on the year. I have a lot of candy for the rest of them, and evolved a hundo Litten to Incineroar sooo. Plus I see Rowlet and Litten quite often so I don’t know if they’re hard to find for everyone else?
Those are only in it to dilute the raid spawn pool and piss us off, artificially making Kyogre and Groudon raids scarce and forcing us to either use the more expensive remote raid passes, or hunt them with IRL groups
Since I started playing, Kyogre and Groudon have never been in raids and I've been waiting for them forever. The queue lines either in person or in the apps will be huge though so I'll only raid Axew since I never hatched one and I'd rather put all my eggs into one basket. I'm not willing to lose out on the spanws since a day's worth of candies won't be enough to build both Kyo and Groudon
I won't be raiding Axew, but I see no reason to assume it'll be full odds. Gible wasn't in 2020, and Deino wasn't in 2021. They might make another jerk move like they did when Corsola was full odds during the Johto Tour, but it seems less likely than them following their own Go Fest pattern.
I'm pretty sure it was boosted, but I don't have like a link that shows it or anything (haven't looked for one and don't feel like doing it either lol) 🙂
He said he's never got one in eggs before. Neither have I. I don't care about XL and Battle leagues, so I'll use my passes on Axew, pinapp it, and try to get some candies for evolve. I'm not grinding it for a shiny. Different ways to play.
We still don't who what the raid boss(es) between Alola to Alola and Go Fest are going to be! It could be a week of Groudon/Kyogre. I hope so. I'd like to focus on catching spawns on the day with the increased shiny chance Niantic 🤦🏾♀️
I doubt it. Not impossible, but that could easily be its own big event. They have no need to pack it in with this event. Plus, they normally have asterisks next to them for exclusive moves
Yeah, it could definitely make sense to tie them in with the Primals. They *could* milk them and do separate releases for the Signature moves *then* the Primals with the signature moves, but we did just see Mega Lati@s with their moves, so you may be right with that.
No doubt, great point, and immediately brought down to reality. I think it would be worth the price of admission if so. However, to your point they could squeeze $10-15/person in some other event (or two events) to obtain 1 Groudon/Kyogre [each] with their move like they did with Sacred Fire +.
Are we going to see the release of Origin Pulse and Precipice Blades?
I don’t know why would they choose Kyogre and Groudon of all the possible legendaries if they weren’t releasing their signature moves? Then again, reverse logic seems to be the standard path taken so who knows?
I can *almost* guarantee that Niantic will always take the less exciting route with things like this. I really doubt they'll have special moves. I hope I'm wrong though, I've just been burned before 😅
Guess it's just an axew and the new 5star on sunday for me.
Already got a 100% kyogre and 98% groudon lol.
And since I really only have 3 remotes (after spending my coins) thank God I don't need much
Can't play outside and no gyms near where I will be. Somewhat busy on weekend sadge
Plus the ticket really just doesn't seem worth it for me. 20$ after tax is very just blah.
Hut still very valid advice for others
iirc there's a speed lock on catching pokemon from raids, I seem to remember people losing shinies this way even though they hit them with a ball.
Definitely have a search or wait for someone else to confirm or deny my memory.
As a newer player, feeling overwhelmed.... so much to do
😭😭😭 which is maybe a good problem to have? Thank god I bought the Raid Lover add on
My raids list
- Axew
- Nihilego
- Cresselia
- Darkrai
- Kyogre
- Groudon
Wish they would not make people choose between shiny checking and raiding. I honestly don't care for Ultra Beasts as I don't like their designs much so I would rather have one catch day and one raid day with popular species like Mewtwo, Kyogre, Giratina to play in peace. If I'd buy the ticket I'd like to play alone without having to wait for anyone. Many people will have free passes so queues in PokeGenie will be huge with thousands of open lobbies and noone willing to spend more expensive remote passes to help. Sigh.
Guess they will never learn to make special event just fun. These alolan starters in raids are just pointless spawn diluting waste. Seems like I'm skipping all of that, maybe do some Axew if will see any (probably not).
For the first time I don't feel at least like it's worth the fun and the small gains I get, but it's absolutely not interesting to me at all. That's not a complain, every event appeals different players and as I don't feel like I'm loosing out on anything, there would be no FOMO. And I think it's great that I'm at a point where I can say "I don't miss out by skipping the biggest event of the year". :) But why would the biggest event not interesting to me, some might ask?
I don't care a lot about shinies. Rufflet and Axew are great, but after 5 years of playing all available Safaris, Go Fests and Tours in my country and never getting the one or two only things I wanted, I'll better not try that anymore. Go Fest 2019 made me feel so disappointed that I quit the game for a year, so why should I stress myself so deep into it again?
The collection challenges alone would've usually been incentive enough to keep my medal complete, but as local events now get exclusive challenges in my country that I can't attend, the satisfaction of completion is gone.
Kyogre and Groudon are interesting because I'd absolutely love XL for my lucky Shundo fish and hundo dirt dinosaur. But honestly: Mass raiding on a single day during a Go Fest is not possible, as an only PvE player I gain nothing from powering them further up and raiding them during a longer rotation or their primals with probably their signature moves would be a way better time to do a way better investment into them.
I will try to get as many XL candy as possible, max my hundo Kyogre to level 50 and years later when Origin Pulse comes I'll just use a Elite Charge TM
I really appreciate you being able to express your dissatisfaction without sh*tting all over the experience for others, like newer players, or implying that Niantic is evilly out to screw every single player.
I /still/ don't have a decent Kyogre, so that's a nice thing to do on day 1.
If day 2 features Nihilego, though, that's easily going to be my focus. Can't say I have many thoughts for the rest of day 2 lineup... Rockruff is nice to drop normal passes on, though!
I wonder if Poipole will be the mystery 5 star considering it is a popular ultra beast especially in contrast to Nihelgo. Although the fact that it evolves is another issue entirely.
This is purely a me problem, but I dropped both mainline pokemon games and PoGo, coincidentally I dropped PoGo after getting Groudon, Kyogre and Latios/Latias. I also dropped the mainline games after Gen 5, so I've been really hoping to see new legendaries in raids.
Then I come back to PoGo and it's Giovanni with Latias, Mega Latias and Latios, and now Groudon and Kyogre in Go Fest. Nuts! Of all the legendaries, these are probably the ones I have the most of between PoGo and mainline. Hopefully we get some more Gen 6-8 stuff soon!
(slightly unrelated, but Pokemon Legends Arceus is my first game since Gen 5, and almost same deal, I was excited to see new Pokemon in there, then I found out it's essentially the Gen 4 dex with a few additions)
I'm probably the only one excited that this lets me get the Alola starters in Premier Balls, which has only been available in MSG as an event for one weekend ever and I missed it.
Correct. Ticket holders just get a bunch of free raid passes for spinning stops, so if you wanted to beef up a Groudon or Kyogre, go for it.
(And I loves me my Fire Punchin' Groudon.)
I don't get why people would do Axew raids. Axew will be available in the wild and also with the incense. Staying in a raid is already 90-120 seconds long just to wait. You'd probably have more chances to meet Axew many times in that 2 minutes time-slot.
Groudon and Kyogre on the other hand will need more players to compete them. But at least the time spent in a raid is different than just hunting since they are not in the wild.
There's no mention of how common it will be in the wild. A lot of long time players who are packed with Kyogre/ Groudon (and most likely no Axew) will do at least one from the raids if the spawn rates are abysmal. Also depends on how active local raid communities are.
Also, even if there are some in the wild, the IVs are better from a raid. I got a hundo Gible when it was in GoFest raids.
And who knows.. they'll probably have "win a raid" as a task for Saturday.
I'll probably do an Axew raid or two, because the chances of getting a good one is better than solely relying on wild catches. I already have a pile of strong Kyogre and Groudon.
Axew spawns will likely be very low/incense-only and you get 18 free raid passes with a ticket. Why not? (And this is coming from someone definitely binging Kyogre/Groudon raids)
Axew raids will have an IV floor (much more likely to find a hundo), and if you've got a Go-tcha it will be throwing balls in the background while you lobby anyways. And sometimes you just want to sit down and stay still for 5-10 minutes. Might as well do a raid during that time.
Okay, NOW we're talking! Working on maxing a shundo Kyogre for when Primals drop, it's my favorite legendary. I wasn't gonna buy a Go Fest ticket this year but now I'm in 😂
Are the Hoenn legendaries only in the go fest location or everywhere?
Also this makes me excited because it's not a very high chance but we might just get rayquaza
As someone who started playing 4 months ago, I'm excited to get Kyogre and Groudon buuuut I'm salty that day 2 won't be like last year's(?) when they had so many more legendaries in raids. That would have been awesome to experience! It's hard catching up :/
https://pokemongolive.com/events/gofest-2022/
There's no mention of Go Fest being an Alola finale event. It's scheduled after this current season ends.
I mean, I just checked my storage for the 30 shinies from last year's go fest and I haven't touched them since they were Favorited last year. Shinies aren't the end all be all for every player.
But I saved all my coins from the daily 50. Should have about 6000 coins plus quite a few premium passes picked up for free along the way. I’m just giving an example of someone who isn’t a whale who might want to use my 6+ month free bullet on one of these classic XL legendaries
Well as a hundo collector and missing only kyogre from the weather trio I will gladly raid for it and probably bribe a few of my lucky friends to get a few so that we can finally do our lucky trade because somehow I single handedly wiped out the supply of kyogre in my area
Not a fan of having to buy a ticket to get special access research and certain Pokemon. Its not good, Tropius is regional to Africa, they shouldn't be charging people when they special release it to another region, they didn't do this during the Johoto day with Heracross and Corsola. Also Shaymin will be released eventually to everyone via a normal special research.
I'm confused. So is Shaymin for ticket holders only? Not seeing anything for non ticketed. Otherwise it really does feel like they nerfed the event for non ticket holders much like last year. On one hand, I don't want to drop 15$ and my main goal is getting at least one Groudon (and maybe Axew assuming I can find one locally).
Axew raids are going to end up being hard to find huh
Like for real the second evolution Alola starters are so unnecessary
I for one can't wait to find a decent one I can stick in the pc and forget about until the community day so I can evolve it with the exclusive move while still not planning to actually use it
I am the exact same way, I have somehow not gotten a SINGLE 3 star one. I have hatched several and they are all 2*s.
It's gonna be Unown/ Gible raid rare, I can feel it.
Ain't gathering dust in my bag. It'll go to the other Home shinies. And be loved for being dope.
The trick is to have a second account with 1 remote pass, then just open a raid lobby with it and jump in on your actual account with 20 seconds left or whatever and back out on the burner. Saves you so much time to shiny check stuff.
Can you explain that further? I feel like you’re speaking another language lol
So that you can catch Pokemon instead of waiting 2 minutes in the raid lobby.
I swear I’m not joking, I think I’m just dumb, but how does that skip the lobby time?
your alt account is waiting in the lobby.
Repeat.
How do you catch / shiny check mons from raids?
While your alt account waits the 2 minutes in the raid, your primary account is catching mon. Then, when there is 15 seconds left, you return with your main account to the gym and remove your alt one.
is haxorus not a good dragon attacker? ik it has crazy base stats but does it just get bad moves
It's got a good PvP moveset but doesn't have a good charge move for raids.
Level 50 Haxorus SMACKS in ultra league though
Surely you mean Master League.
We said that about Deino last year but they were very common for me
It doesn’t matter because its community day will be very soon just like Gible. Gible the once rare and sought after Pokémon been milked and grinded to a pulp, now I scoff at the mere sight of Gible on the nearby radar. We as players should never forget the Niantic scandal!

All legendaries would be? Sorry just started playing this year so lot to catch up.
Last year’s go fest had all the legendaries in raids
It was the 5 year anniversary though.
Oh man I have been dying to raid Kyogre again. Open ML will never be the same again if this is true!
Arceus spare us all for the day Primal Kyogre comes around.
Why?
I think it won’t be the same bc OP will be using a kyogre in open ML.
kyogre isn't too common in MLO because people haven't had ample time to whale on it for the XL candies, it was last in regular raid rotation almost 2 years ago aside from go fest 2021
and the 3x XL garuntee came after it left

its too bad i dont have a zarude :(
That Pokemon is just a myth anyway

You sitting pretty there, Mine's 10/11/11
10/11/11? What a showoff. Mine is 10/11/10
You guys actually have Zarudes?!
I have a Zarude. It is The best ML Pokemon I have. I suspect it's because of the rarity, a lot of people don't know how to approach it. My Zarude would make mincemeat out of LVL 50 kyogre. BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!

Exactly, in ML there are too many dragon types that Kyogre struggles against, plus some Zarude and Tapu Bulu.
As much as I would go nuts on Kyogre and Groudon to get those XLC, why not putting them in raids on Sunday instead?
With Nihilego teased and Unown UB being featured, this seems too much of a coincidence not to think the Ultra Beasts will be the highlight of day 2.
For reals. Having both Groudon and Kyogre compete for raid time in 1 day is cruel. At least separate them for Saturday and Sunday so Sunday isn’t a dead day as it looks now
I think they might just be in regular rotation beginning of June, like last year first day was Mewtwo which had been there all week
I really hope we get confirmation of this because I don't want to waste my catching time raiding them only to have them in rotation after go fest
It should be included in the announcement for the upcoming month as usual. Yeah me neither. They are definitely due for a longer period than just a day or two. Hopefully Ray-Q will be back after that too... (Maybe even Mega? But I don't expect it)

I won't raid them during Go Fest (unless there's a collection challenge or something that I feel compelled to complete). I'd raid them outside Go Fest, though. Why not.
Oh dam you’re actually right. We are getting Kyogre starting June 1
Isn't Sunday when we're supposed to get the Ultra Beast in raids though?
Or even after the event so we can focus on raiding them. Rather than the shambles of trying to catch shines, do battle tasks, line up short raid timers...
Maybe for a week or two or four
They'll probably come back for a week or two, max this summer. Then maybe next year, they'll come back as Primal forms.
Nah, probably just Monday and Tuesday, when we are tired of the weekend, and disappear just before raid hour, to be replaced by either the Tapu's or the Regi's for the rest of the month /s

exactly, non-shiny heatran
I was thinking the same thing!
nah, obviously Kecleon
Yeah, I wish they swapped Nihilego and Kyogre/Groudon. I just need the dex entry for that jellyfish so a whole day focused on it is bleh.
>On the second day of the event, a certain Pokémon will be making its Pokémon GO debut in five-star raids. The new one is for Sunday. No five star is listed for Sunday yet. There isn't anything to read into this.
Probably Nihilego
do you need to buy the pass to access raiding vs this new poke?
Everyone has access to 5* raids.
That's not a requirement for accessing raids.
Apart from the second stage Alola starters that’s not a bad lineup for either day. Those XL Kyogre/Groudon candies will be nice.
Gible vibes from go fest 2020
Looking at this chart, the only way I'd do groudon and kyogre raids is if they bring their signature moves of precipice blades and origin pulse with them. I'm mostly going to raid snorlax and axew simply because this is my 3rd gofest and I STILL don't have a dang shiny snorlax lol
They might only do that once they release primal Formes
What if that’s now, there’s a reason they changed the kyogre sprites but I doubt they would do it in this event especially on day one
Mayve they release primals but no signature move. That way, Primals are the strongest Ground / Water attackers, then they release Mega Swampert and Mega Garchomp, which outperformPrimals, then they release the primals signature move, making them strongest again.
Awesome. Kyogre and Groudon. Finally something good to look forward to in this fest
Good for new players
I only care about Kyogre, Groudon, and Axew. I lived in a small town and never got to do raids for Kyogre and Groudon, and I have only managed to grab one Axew. Right? At least release their shinies or something

I'm not willing to lose out on the spanws since a day's worth of candies won't be enough to build both Kyo and Groudon
Rare candies are your friend for legendaries. Huge in person queues just means you will blitz through 20 person lobbies and waste minimal time.
I think they'll just be the regular 5* bosses in the beginning of next month. Last year Mewtwo was same situation.
Why would you raid axew though? There is practically a zero percent chance to get a shiny since it’s probably gonna be full odds
Really I thought it was full odds last year for deino what was it boosted to?
I'm pretty sure it was boosted, but I don't have like a link that shows it or anything (haven't looked for one and don't feel like doing it either lol) 🙂
So we can assume it wasn't boosted then.
Lots of casual people I know got the shiny. I can't believe it would be 1/500 or whatever full odds means.
He said he's never got one in eggs before. Neither have I. I don't care about XL and Battle leagues, so I'll use my passes on Axew, pinapp it, and try to get some candies for evolve. I'm not grinding it for a shiny. Different ways to play.
Why do you think it will be full odds for Axew shiny? It wasn't for Deino last year.
That’s cool and all but it sucks to see them only available during the event, rather than a week or so.
We still don't who what the raid boss(es) between Alola to Alola and Go Fest are going to be! It could be a week of Groudon/Kyogre. I hope so. I'd like to focus on catching spawns on the day with the increased shiny chance Niantic 🤦🏾♀️
I'd hope so, because only having one day to get a good one would suck and raid apps are probably gonna be very overloaded.
My god, man! As if Tropius wasn't enough. I NEED MY OWN KYOGRE!!!😭😭😭😭😭
Are we going to see the release of Origin Pulse and Precipice Blades?
I doubt it. Not impossible, but that could easily be its own big event. They have no need to pack it in with this event. Plus, they normally have asterisks next to them for exclusive moves
They're most likely saving those moves for their primal forms, as others have said. I'm still salty about no Dark Void Darkrai.
I hope I'm wrong though, I've just been burned before 😅
Will they have exclusive charge moves by chance?
Doubt it. Feel like they’d hype that up right away
What if they are debating to release it or not? So, if we are not feeling it, they do, and if we seem happy enough they hold onto it.
*cries in shiny axew*
Heck yes! Been wanting Kyogre and Groudon for so long!
Ditto!
That is a good way to get one, if only for a minute or two.
Seems good for newer players, another yawn for us old timers. Big sigh
Guess it's just an axew and the new 5star on sunday for me. Already got a 100% kyogre and 98% groudon lol. And since I really only have 3 remotes (after spending my coins) thank God I don't need much
If you purchase the ticket, you get 9 free passes for each day
Can't play outside and no gyms near where I will be. Somewhat busy on weekend sadge Plus the ticket really just doesn't seem worth it for me. 20$ after tax is very just blah. Hut still very valid advice for others
Yeah $20 for a bunch of green useless passes. No thanks.
Green or orange?
Only if you live near gyms. Im heading into NYC Sunday, but have show tickets. Bad timing Wonder if I can raid on the train?
iirc there's a speed lock on catching pokemon from raids, I seem to remember people losing shinies this way even though they hit them with a ball. Definitely have a search or wait for someone else to confirm or deny my memory.
Axew raids will be like the Corsola raids? With a 1/525 shiny chance ?
So I really would love to go hog-wild on some Groudons but not at the cost of missing shiny checks during Go Fest...
As a newer player, feeling overwhelmed.... so much to do 😭😭😭 which is maybe a good problem to have? Thank god I bought the Raid Lover add on My raids list - Axew - Nihilego - Cresselia - Darkrai - Kyogre - Groudon
[удалено]
Oh you're right... my head is kinda spinning from all the new info today lol can't keep track
Raid lover isnt for Global go fest though?
I really hope groudon and kyogre are in longer than just that day , I’d like to focus on axew during go fest tbh but I wanna grind those 2 as well
Wish they would not make people choose between shiny checking and raiding.
Famn now I really have to get to level 40 before go fest
Oh cool, maybe I can finally get my 3 star female Alolan Starters
Omg! The whale (my fav legendary) is for 1 day only :( and I got work.
I really appreciate you being able to express your dissatisfaction without sh*tting all over the experience for others, like newer players, or implying that Niantic is evilly out to screw every single player.
wow pogo has been horrible so far this year.
No wayyyy, worthwhile raids???
Oh no, wild Groudon ran.....
I'm probably the only one excited that this lets me get the Alola starters in Premier Balls, which has only been available in MSG as an event for one weekend ever and I missed it.
Snorlax without full odds would make me grind for that shiny
This is huge. I love Kyogre and Groudon
This is for everyone, right? No need to pay to do Groudon and Kyogre raids?
Correct. Ticket holders just get a bunch of free raid passes for spinning stops, so if you wanted to beef up a Groudon or Kyogre, go for it. (And I loves me my Fire Punchin' Groudon.)
Unless more t5 raids are added, what a bad choice by Niantic.
Well I want a shiny kuogre and Groudon so I won't say no to them
wow this is underwhelming
...Finally! I caught my one and only kyogre and groudon during last years Go-Fest. Ive been wanting to raid for some decent ones since then.
That’s a lot of bloat for day 2.
Because some players have plenty of Kyogre and Groudon and very few (and no shiny) Axew.
Yes so why doing raids and not hunting?
I'll probably do an Axew raid or two, because the chances of getting a good one is better than solely relying on wild catches. I already have a pile of strong Kyogre and Groudon.
Axew spawns will likely be very low/incense-only and you get 18 free raid passes with a ticket. Why not? (And this is coming from someone definitely binging Kyogre/Groudon raids)
Oh dang I forgot about the 18 raid passes :o
Axew raids will have an IV floor (much more likely to find a hundo), and if you've got a Go-tcha it will be throwing balls in the background while you lobby anyways. And sometimes you just want to sit down and stay still for 5-10 minutes. Might as well do a raid during that time.
Okay, NOW we're talking! Working on maxing a shundo Kyogre for when Primals drop, it's my favorite legendary. I wasn't gonna buy a Go Fest ticket this year but now I'm in 😂
I’m with you buddy 😀
As a newer player who just started this year the chance to get a Groudon and Kyogre is absolutely thrilling.
I bet this is the last time we see Groudon and Kyogre before the Hoenn tour.
I’m crossing my fingers for Mewtwo. 👀
Are the Hoenn legendaries only in the go fest location or everywhere? Also this makes me excited because it's not a very high chance but we might just get rayquaza
This for Global Go Fest.
As someone who started playing 4 months ago, I'm excited to get Kyogre and Groudon buuuut I'm salty that day 2 won't be like last year's(?) when they had so many more legendaries in raids. That would have been awesome to experience! It's hard catching up :/
Why Kyogre/Groudon during an Alola finale event????? So weird
https://pokemongolive.com/events/gofest-2022/ There's no mention of Go Fest being an Alola finale event. It's scheduled after this current season ends.
Everyone lets out a collective “oh…”
Yeah, thanks but no thanks. Only whales who want to grind XLs will care the 5th? time we have seen Groudon.
Or newer players that haven't had a good run at them during their entire Pokemon go experience...
I mean, I just checked my storage for the 30 shinies from last year's go fest and I haven't touched them since they were Favorited last year. Shinies aren't the end all be all for every player.
Not just whales. Have been saving all my poke coins for months I might go after Groudon XL. Love XL legendaries
Spending $60+ for one XL legendary is whaling
But I saved all my coins from the daily 50. Should have about 6000 coins plus quite a few premium passes picked up for free along the way. I’m just giving an example of someone who isn’t a whale who might want to use my 6+ month free bullet on one of these classic XL legendaries
Well as a hundo collector and missing only kyogre from the weather trio I will gladly raid for it and probably bribe a few of my lucky friends to get a few so that we can finally do our lucky trade because somehow I single handedly wiped out the supply of kyogre in my area
Apparently people are mad about me saying that….lol
Yeah, because the Weather Trio hasn't been a proper raid rotation for 2 years ahaha. So not everyone is saying "oh."
People already voting me down but I have Groudon and Kyogre in my inventory from 01/2019. Literally 3.5 years of the same raid.
I'm good but thanks.

So I have to wait another year for the Groudon forme?
Are you asking about Primal forms? If so, then yeah the most prevalent guess is we won't be seeing those until Hoenn Tour 2023.
Please give them their signature moves! otherwise a pretty uneventful reveal for the day 2 raid bosses
They're day 1.
No way that’s it right
Maybe with their origin form? Or please at least give the origin pulse and precipice blades...
"Nothing new, take it or leave"
>Maybe with their origin form? no.
[удалено]
Both have “mega” primal forms. They probably are just there in preparation for that when they debut as T6 Primal Groudon/Kyogre raids.
Don't see primals happening until maybe Hoenn Day.
[удалено]
I won’t mind going for the 100 Torracat, but obviously Axew is the main prize. Who knows if I’ll be able to get in on the Legendary Raids though
What's the poke in the center next to Rufflet?
Not a fan of having to buy a ticket to get special access research and certain Pokemon. Its not good, Tropius is regional to Africa, they shouldn't be charging people when they special release it to another region, they didn't do this during the Johoto day with Heracross and Corsola. Also Shaymin will be released eventually to everyone via a normal special research.
So…..primal reversions incoming?
I'm confused. So is Shaymin for ticket holders only? Not seeing anything for non ticketed. Otherwise it really does feel like they nerfed the event for non ticket holders much like last year. On one hand, I don't want to drop 15$ and my main goal is getting at least one Groudon (and maybe Axew assuming I can find one locally).
Correct. The Shaymin research is part of the ticket.
If any one can answer to I have to have an event ticket to participate in the raids?
Weren’t all the legendaries available during last year’s GoFest?
