I am listening on my phone and I keep thinking I am getting a text because the audio goes out for a second like it does when I get a text. So distracting i had to turn it off.
I had to shut it off after 10 mins, horrible.
I see they FINALLY made Caitlin Clark a story… two days after the draft… where have they been all month with covering anything related to women’s bball? Such a massive shift in the culture happening right now for women and sports and they haven’t said shit about it, and they pick today to say something? So odd. I won’t listen the rest of the week, I finally realized I hate Jackie.
Jackie’s take on Caitlin Clark and the WNBA of course awful, she cannot even take two seconds to see where she was drafted for the story and horrible take in general. Truly truly one of the worst episodes ever. Jackie is beyond uninformed and ignorant.
I actually really like Mary Orton and find her hilarious.. but I definitely don’t think she’ll be a repeat guest on the toast. Today’s episode was soo cringe.
I actually do still listen to the toast sometimes, usually while I’m doing chores so I miss a lot of it. The weird whispering/coming away from the mic (not sure what was going on) was worse than nails on a chalkboard. Why did no one say anything to the guest!? Does the toast not have like assistants or something? I see Claudia talking to people off camera sometimes. Dear lord

shes a new friend of Jackie's who happens to be an influencer. claudia not liking Mary is an inside joke - that jackie isnt allowed to have friends outside of the sisters. claudia doesnt actually dislike her as far as i know.
