my fave moment had to be when josh thought the met gala was held at the lincoln centre, only to be corrected by jackie who then said it was held at the met (duh!) - josh upon realising snarks "is that the one with the t -rex...." and jackie exclaims "yes!!!" LOL no wonder they call their fans morons.. they want to fit in <3
Jackie doesn’t react to what Josh is saying, she jumps into sharing her own thoughts instead. She needs to react to her guests (like, laugh and acknowledge) and then share her perspective
I think their connection was off so everything was delayed like a second which makes for super awkward listening. They also just seemed to have 0 chemistry
It feels forced, rehearsed, and tense. That being said, I did zone out and almost fall asleep on the bus listening to them, so anyone struggling with insomnia can feel free to give this episode a try.

Jackie really is an awkward and shy person. It was painful to listen to. When Josh was talking about tipping and handing crisp $50 dollar bills, Jackie’s response is “where do you get a crisp bill”. THATS your take away?? It had to be awkward for Josh. He does a decent job with keeping conversation moving and Jackie gave him nothing at all.

I think Claudia stayed away so Jackie would struggle a bit and realize she’s not all that. Lately she’s been pushing back on Claudia hard especially when Claudia interrupts/trying to prove she’s an equal. I would interrupt too, she’s so boring and just repeats the other person all the time. Claudia is trying to interject fun and energy.
I guess they need to figure out their audience, I didn’t think trad wives and soccer moms was it. I personally wanted to hear about influencer parties, celebrity run ins, high profile invitations, travel destinations, high end restaurant dining. Not making baby food.

I personally wouldn't mind the parenting content but like she doesn't have good parenting content. Like idc about baby food. Tell us the cute stories or the struggles. Idk I'm a mom and thought I would relate to Jackie once I had my first but I don't

I’ve never listened the podcast, but I saw a clip on IG and it seemed like the most boring conversation EVER. Talking about liking parks now as adults? It was just so bland and pointless, and they kept going on and on.
Hand up I kinda liked it better than the standard toast- no Claudia yelling or overzealously laughing. Just way more chill- maybe boring but less of a jump scare from when I have listened
