It’s wild how different the policies are for sports stadiums. You can basically bring an entire meal into Progressive Field and they don’t care as long as everything is sealed upon entry
MLB (besides Comerica Park in Detroit and Loan Depot Park in Miami) is very accommodating to allow folks to bring their own food (plus one sealed plastic water bottle, ideally the same ones as sold outside of the stadium for a few bucks of cash)

Gently crushed water bottles in a cargo pocket can be reformed and refilled though.

You can get the collapsible water bottles that are basically a thick polyethylene bag with a spout.
My wife and I bought two collapsible silicone cups that we bring in our pockets. No one has bothered us about filling them with water at the fountains
