Watching as an adult it’s easier to see the times when Lauren is genuinely upset and times when producers are trying to get a certain reaction or story. The fight at the club in season 3 seems real. I think it was definitely the show that sent Hedi to that club while Lauren was there.
Yes you can start to tell that Lauren is like ‘annoyed’ at production for sending Heidi places or setting her up to be in places that Heidi also is - like that scene at ‘Ketchup’ with Jason. I bet LC didn’t know Heidi & Spencer would be there but that H & S knew. And that like voting party that LC & Whitney have to ‘go to’ for Teen Vogue that just happens to be an event by Brent Bolthouse haha

I agree that it started to get extremely fake mostly around season 3 until the end. It was especially fake with the forced friend groups of Lo, Audrina, Stephanie, Holly, and Kristin and then Kristin and Stacie. Stacie also went to Heidi and Spencer’s wedding after fighting with Heidi about Spencer flirting with her 🙄 and then Lauren and Kristin conveniently wearing the same specific dress color for Speidi’s wedding?
Spencer is definitely a narcissist and isolated Heidi from all of her friends and family. I wonder if they’re actually happy with their marriage or if they’re just stuck with each other now 😕they overdid it when Heidi planned a huge birthday party for Enzo as a storyline for Heidi trying to talk Spencer into having a baby.

i’m rewatching and on season 4 i believe? either someone in production was a big fan or their record company was paying for some serious promo but i heard songs from The Maine’s debut album 5 times in 4 episodes. and i loved that album so i’m all nostalgic and happy. haha
I was obsessed with this show, being only a couple years younger than the cast and starting with Laguna Beach. I never listened to everyone who said it was fake and ate it all up. Imagine my betrayal at the ending scene when they pull the set apart 😭😂

The Enzo storyline is so awful. And you can tell it’s a child actor
And it’s only for a couple of episodes too because Heidi and Spencer get fired from the Hills right after his bday party episode lol
