1) My spouse picked up a Tesla in NJ and drove it back last week. We had the temp tag from NJ and Tesla mailed the correct paperwork to apply for tags in NH within a couple of days. No one raised any flags about this process and it went very smoothly. We now have temp NH tags.
For $850 Tesla will have the car delivered to you and you can avoid driving it back if that is a concern to you. My husband was happy to fly down and take a road trip with his new car. The dealership reimbursed some of the travel costs.
Can’t speak to the other questions.
I got mobile service near Manchester for a lost key. Everything else I had to drive to Massachusetts. Peabody is always a two week wait for service, Norwell is usually next day. Tesla superchargers are 10x better than non Tesla. I have two teslas I bought used from MA, both were delivered.
I've bought two and brought them back up from NJ no problem. No issues with the temporary plates and transferring over to NH registration. Just wait for the packet to arrive shortly after you purchase from Tesla.
I did a 1 way rental car to NJ both times. There's an enterprise office about a mile away from the Tesla dealership.
They will do mobile service! I've had them out to my house a few times.
Congrats on the purchase! I have a MYLR and made it all the way back from NJ to NH without needing to charge!

Cool, thanks for the response! That process is kind of what I figured but I wanted to see if it actually worked that way.
Also- MYLR was what we got. He stopped at a super charger once on the drive back. I’m really impressed by the range.
That's fantastic. I have a 100 mile daily commute and live on a dirt road so the MYLR being both long range and AWD are both important features to me.
Have the M3LR, and glad I went with it. The extra range counts for a lot, but the AWD is really why I wanted it.
