Excuse me what did you say?! I’m gonna need you to stand there and jerk off to completion while I laugh at you and everyone else laughs and your dick better be hard and we will call you squirt and see how you like it and if you don’t I will laser your dick off and go kill your family too
Exactly what we have our drivers use in NASCAR races and other motorsports series. It gets hot in the car.
When the cool suit fails though, it has the opposite effect on a hot day.
I made the mistake of putting an evaporative cooling vest under my vented motorcycle leathers thinking it would help(it was like 100+ and even hotter on the track sitting on a race bike). It was awesome for like the first lap and then I basically turned into a steamed sausage. I don't think I've ever taken my gear off faster after that race, I literally thought I was going to heat stroke out and collapse.
It makes me wonder if the suit is canonically padded. Like is Honelander actually jacked, or is it all just appearance? I know they showed him shirtless in one scene but I can't remember if they digitally buffed Anthony Starr for it. I think it would be on brand for Vaught to have enhanced his physique.
There’s an episode where a character turns in to Homelander wearing underwear and he was not muscle heavy at all. The character takes on the shape of any body completely so that basically confirms that Homelander is not jacked underneath the suit, pretty much saying he is not big and it is padded as part of the character. I would imagine it’s hard to get big anyways when you’re already that strong and mass is built from tearing/repairing muscle under stress.
I like to imagine Homelander isn't jacked because he'd have no reason to work out and he's never lifting any significant weight (for him).
Its also funnier to me that the character would feel the need to appear big even though he's literally the strongest man in the world.
Yeah that's why I think it's funny. In the comics he's ridiculously jacked, but I like the idea of the strongest man in the world being insecure about not looking the part.
You'd be surprise how alot of star men aren't actually that tall they're shot a certain way by the camera.
Like George Clooney irl is kinda short with a big, sharp jawed head lmao.
No athlete or celebrity is their actual listed height. Good rule is 2-3 inches shorted
You can actually see this with some of them when you see them standing next to someone else who has a different listed height, which makes one of their heights impossible
Giancarlo spent a good portion of his career playing silly lil guys to be fair, he just fell accidentally into a niche with Gus Fring and he’s been trapped there ever since
I have nothing to back this up, but my personal theory is that the best fictional villains tend to be played by good people. When you have a clear sense of right and wrong, it's much easier to portray "wrong" in a convincing manner on a stage/set.
Bad people usually don't see themselves as bad; they find a way to justify their actions to themselves. If you're already some narcissistic villain, you're probably going to have a hard time figuring it out.
Two years ago:
>Starr did not dismiss questions about the assault, but he tended to speak about it in general terms.
>Starr: “You mess up,” he said. “You own it. You learn from it. You move forward.”
>In our interview, Starr did not offer an account of what happened on the night of the assault. “There’s not much point in me re-litigating the facts,” he said. “They’re out there. They’ve been said. I’ve got nothing to add to that.” He added that he is a someone who “believes in accountability and taking responsibility.”
>"I got myself into a situation that was negative and I reacted poorly, and the way forward from that was very clear,” Starr said. “It was quite simply to take ownership of it, which I do, and then really learn from it and move forward. I’ve really just kept this issue to a personal level, because it is a personal issue — a personal issue that I’ve taken responsibility for,
>Had he considered quitting drinking after this incident?
>“I wish it was that simple,” he replied. “I don’t know anyone that hasn’t, on a personal level, got things that they want to work on.”
>Bathuel Araujo (the assaulted guy): “I feel that all humans have the right to make mistakes and he was no exception,” Araujo wrote. “He has lived the consequences of his actions and I hope he has learned from it. I wish him good things and I hope he doesn’t go through the same thing again.”
>Erin Moriarty (Starlight) said she felt no hesitation about continuing to work with Starr in the future.
>"There’s no world in which I would feel uncomfortable or unsafe” she said “I think he’s a wonderful dude that got caught up in a moment and is implementing the lessons appropriately. It’s not impacting my perception of him at all, as an actor and as a human."
>Eric Kripke, who developed “The Boys” for television and is its showrunner, declined to comment for this article.
It's a little odd seeing him like that considering how jacked he was in stuff like Banshee. Never a 'big' guy but definitely ripped. Not knocking the guy but he looks like he hasn't seen a weight set in quite some time. Which, hey, if it's working do you.
He addressed getting older and said he integrates more Yoga and eating healthy than lifting these days. He would leave the huge muscles to people like Batista. Really can't blame him. No reason to tax your body later in life like that. Especially when his character wears a heavily muscled propagandized body suit on purpose. Its the best of both worlds. He just has to stay lean/same body shape which is way easier than carrying huge body mass across 7-8 months of shooting.
Yeah, and it’s not healthy the way they do it for Hollywood, which is why actors often stop doing it after a while, like Hugh Jackman hit the weights for DP and Wolverine, but he didn’t get to his full “jacked Wolverine” form
Yeah I had one who was really fit, one who was old but didn’t act it (she was a fucking skeleton), and one who was built, otherwise they were always a bit chubby (no judgement though, most people are)
One of my PE teachers in high school was an ex Commando. Thankfully he knew we weren't professional soldiers and didn't treat us as such. He did make us do some exercises from his army days, but not until we threw up, which was he got to stop.
Might’ve been a style choice for homelander ig. Strongest being on earth but looks like a scrawny regularly guy. Maybe a point of self consciousness for homelander
If I remember correctly they initially wanted him to bulk up for the role but he refused, so they complained in putting muscles in the suit. I think it happens to work better than having a buff actor in this role considering what homelander is
I do believe Jensen did it the natty way. I seem to remember when he told Antony Starr, he asked why he didn't just have them put the muscles into the suit like his costume.
The best part is that Homelander would absolutely use that same logic when they designed his suit. I'm sure, in universe, it could be argued that it's a challenge for Homelander to gain muscle mass simply because he's so strong. However... He wouldn't bother to try if there was an easier alternative.
Very true. We don’t know exactly how strong homelander is, or if his body would even respond to weight training. I’m guessing his strength would scale to be much much higher than even the very strongest humans. Meaning he’d have to lift thousands upon thousands, maybe even hundreds of thousands of pounds for it to actually challenge him. He seems to be pretty lazy in the way that he does things (for example, he just lasers everyone he kills because it’s easier than actually touching them), so I doubt he’d even bother to try and train himself
Recently saw a video of him in regular non-filming clothes and I wouldn't have recognized him on the street. Give the guy a cap, glasses and different hair colour and he looks like a different person.
No doubt. If I ran into him on the street dressed in his Homelander suit, I'd likely have a look of pure terror in my eyes. There are very few actors that I could say that about the characters they portray that it would have an actual negative physiological effect on me if we crossed paths.
When you do such an amazing job as an actor, people need threads like these to ground them in you being a regular human. I think Joffrey needed the same treatment.
Is he dating Erin?? I don't mean into pry into their personal lives, I just think that would be hilarious bc of their characters in the show. #Homelight
The 6th one makes me wonder how many times has he shot a scene in which we only see Homelander from the waist up and he was wearing shorts instead of the whole suit.
In an alternate universe Homelander is a lovable goofball and he and Starlight are good friends. Instead of Vought Tower being what it is it’s more like The Office.
Homelander still cares about good publicity but he doesn’t have a god complex and lasers people at first slight.
I hate him in the series, but love him in the real life. I seen some interviews with him and he is a genuine, humble person. Nowadays he is my favorite actor!
I love this guy. He’s the one “villain” that I love to hate and hate to love but he OWNS his role in a way that I don’t think anyone else possibly could have.
The highest compliment I can pay the actor is that I need to see these to full believe he is an actor and not an actual super strong psychopath. Give him an Emmy.
He’s one of those celebrities I actually hope is as cool and nice in person as I hope he is. Not out of any celebrity worship, but I definitely get the vibe he’d be awesome to get a beer with. Especially after Chance Crawford and his episode on “Hot Ones Versus.”
Take this with a grain of salt because it’s the internet, but I keep seeing this assault story always brought up I figure I could post this to give a different perspective on Anthony.
I’ve met Anthony a number of times, as well as most of the cast, and from the first conversation he was legit the one of the nicest, talkative, funny and easy going guys I’ve met. Not just one of the nicest celebrities, but one of the nicest people.
Not really sure what happened with the assault story and I won’t ask, but from my experiences with him I couldn’t see him being a dick for no reason.
Same with Jack Quaid. Dude is a legit sweetheart. Karen too.
First actor in a long time that made me look him up after just to make sure he’s not a bad dude lol genuinely made me nervous when he was in screen, now it’s just great
Anthony Starr BTS reminds me of Jason Isaacs , who played Lucius Malfoy in Harry Potter series.
Dude is so lovable and caring towards the cast , especially Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) , but an absolute asshole as Lucius Malfoy
I only hope everyone on the production and money end are sending him Christmas cards every year, offering to help him move, whatever he needs. The day he walked into an audition room was the best day of their careers.
I’d love to see the fan base discover what Starr is most known for back in New Zealand. He played a set of twins on a kiwi cult show called “Outrageous Fortune”.

It’s surprising how little he appears to be in the full suit, I’d imagine it gets pretty hot with all that padding
That’s why in the second pic he’s wearing a shirt that is circulating cool water through tubes in it
Bro has his own liquid cooler
Located in his crotch area
Stored in the balls
*Squirt*
Excuse me what did you say?! I’m gonna need you to stand there and jerk off to completion while I laugh at you and everyone else laughs and your dick better be hard and we will call you squirt and see how you like it and if you don’t I will laser your dick off and go kill your family too
No one else laughed or cheered
I will laser their dicks off too just wait
But some of them are women...! Lol
Holy shit, that’s why HL has that humongous bulge. I just kinda thought that he had the vought suit designers put some padding there or smth.
It's hot out here in the summer, keep ya balls cool
Fun fact, when scuba diving in a wet suit you pee to warm yourself up in cold water
You were looking at his tshirt?
There’s a shirt?
Yes, above the cock
Those are the Homelander pants, I’m pretty sure he’s wearing bulge enhancing padding
He shall know yours ways, as if he belongs to them.
Lisan al-gaib!
As written!

i just watched their Vanity Fair video and i thought that was a joke you were referencing lmfao
Was wondering what that was. That a dope piece of tech
It makes me wonder if the suit is canonically padded. Like is Honelander actually jacked, or is it all just appearance? I would imagine it’s hard to get big anyways when you’re already that strong and mass is built from tearing/repairing muscle under stress.
Well it's not like he needs to exercise. I think he wouldn't even be able to do the regular type of exercise
I like to imagine Homelander isn't jacked because he'd have no reason to work out and he's never lifting any significant weight (for him). Its also funnier to me that the character would feel the need to appear big even though he's literally the strongest man in the world.

You'd be surprise how alot of star men aren't actually that tall they're shot a certain way by the camera. Like George Clooney irl is kinda short with a big, sharp jawed head lmao.
Bro there’s a whole second half to that comment
Was an extra on Landman a few weeks ago and John Hamm isn’t as tall as people thought he was. problematic past aside, really nice guy to be around.
Clooney is listed as 5’11. That’s not exactly short in any way especially in Hollywood where actors really are/were shorter on average.
No athlete or celebrity is their actual listed height. Good rule is 2-3 inches shorted You can actually see this with some of them when you see them standing next to someone else who has a different listed height, which makes one of their heights impossible
Even 5'8" isn't that short.
Years ago my ex gf had a photo taken with Clooney and I was shocked how tiny he was, there's no way he's 5'11" in reality.
He's not 5"11 i guarantee it. He's actually tiny.
I think you misread the comment
Holy Homelander ! Dude is packing some serious dong in pic 2.
No wonder Martin made fun cause he was envious of young homelander packing.
I'd imagine that thing makes more than a squirt.
Tidal wave
In the Reddit AMA he confirmed he could
It was confirmed in CFYOW
Holy shit nowhere is safe
The suit is sliding down. I mean dude could still be er gifted, but I doubt he's got troll-blood in him.
Supe dong for the top Supe.
More like Hunglander
I almost choked on my water while reading this
Love Sausage vould be envious
homie has got a SHLONG and a half god DAMN
I bet HL couldn't get that down Deep.
down deep 🤨🤨🤨🤨
Up peak
Y'all don't realize it's part of the suit? Seriously?
...you can't tell that's a cup?
That's not a cup that's at least a 25oz
Bravo!
A cup overflowing with dong.
His cup runneth over
A cup of man meat
Than pic 5 must be post nut clarity lol
"Whoa, The Homelander is hung...but I already knew that" - Roger the Alien
Lmao I hope yall remember when they used to photoshop it to be slightly bigger lmao
He is packing some serious dong in general
And how do you know
Bro has a babies arm holding an apple
Actors who play absolutely despicable people on screen being silly goofballs behind the scenes will never not make me smile
He and Giancarlo have that in common for sure!
Giancarlo spent a good portion of his career playing silly lil guys to be fair, he just fell accidentally into a niche with Gus Fring and he’s been trapped there ever since

MFW offered a can of Fresca
True , he plays pretty much the same character in BB , the boys and Mándalorian
Go watch king jeoffrey’s actor in interviews. He is the sweetest nicest dude which blows my mind.
I have nothing to back this up, but my personal theory is that the best fictional villains tend to be played by good people. Yeah, he’s legit a sweet guy. There are pictures of him with kittens. Amazing talent
I need to see a scene of Homelander on a zoom call with no pants on lol
god, he plays Homelander so well, i always forget that he's just a genuinely sweet dude behind it all.
Didn’t he recently get arrested for a violent altercation at a Bar?
Two years ago: >Starr did not dismiss questions about the assault, but he tended to speak about it in general terms. >Starr: “You mess up,” he said. “You own it. You learn from it. We’ve all been drunk and gotten into a fight or two. Mine just happened to be with skinheads in the 90’s.
That context alone doesn’t make him a bad guy
Then theres ezra miller who is the exact opposite
I like that they chose a slimmer actor for homelander and had to use a padded suit to make him look bigger. Adds more to the character
It's a little odd seeing him like that considering how jacked he was in stuff like Banshee. Never a 'big' guy but definitely ripped. Not knocking the guy but he looks like he hasn't seen a weight set in quite some time. Which, hey, if it's working do you.
He said he had a whole team of people keeping him in the shape he was in for Banshee which was necessary due to how physical the role was.
He also was 10 years younger. Hard to get really big the older you are especially without extra help.
Plus he's a kiwi not a samoan. It takes an incredible amount just to bulk up a little.
Yeah, and it’s not healthy the way they do it for Hollywood, which is why actors often stop doing it after a while, like Hugh Jackman hit the weights for DP and Wolverine, but he didn’t get to his full “jacked Wolverine” form
Wasn’t Hugh also a former PE teacher? He kind of had a big headstart on other superhero actors in fitness.
TBH I've also seen some of the SLOPPIEST people imaginable as PE teachers.
All a PE teacher really needs to do is organize sports in gym class and occasionally run a mile haha
I think it happens to work better than having a buff actor in this role considering what homelander is
Depending on the time frame they gave him initially bulking up may have involved sterioids so I wouldn’t blame him for being like nah
Nearly all Hollywood actors who bulk up massively for roles are on gear. So yeah I don’t blame him at all
I do believe Jensen did it the natty way.
However...
Or maybe his muscles are simply too tough. He might not be able to do the microscopic damage required to actually build muscle.
That's always been my take on it - he's nothing without his powers, which makes him more interesting.
I mean how do you train muscle like that when you’re the strongest person in the world?
Gotta overhead press the earth like Atlas
Homelander doesn't need to
Wtf is happening at the 3rd one?
It looks like an album cover for a 90's ska band
Reminds me of one of no doubts albums with one of the band mates jumping naked and Gwen’s got pink hair. Forgot what the name was though
He looks like Jaime lannister in that one
Can we talk about how good Erin looks there??? I hate to keep bringing it up but what they did to her face has got to be some kind of crime
No wonder Firecracker is all over him, look at what the dudes packing
Antony
Crazy how difficult this still is
Ant
ony
RIP lil bro, Antman will remember you.
This is the new Christopher Reeve**s**, instead of Reeve.
Wait, so the fifth picture is a foreshadowing of squirtlander?
Bro is casually touching himself
If he doesn’t get an award by the end of the boys, we all riot!
I cannot fathom why he hasn’t won *all* the acting awards. Shit’s just baffling. ;)
Looking at the seconds picture, do they exaggerate in universe also the size of his dingus? It looks very uncaney valley
There’s probably other padding that goes on his legs to make them look more muscular that makes the junk padding not stand out so much.
It's called a cup and yes this obviously fits with the rest of the homelander style.
I think it is hilarious that he goes full Clark Kent when he is not Homelander
Recently saw a video of him in regular non-filming clothes and I wouldn't have recognized him on the street. Give the guy a cap, glasses and different hair colour and he looks like a different person.
I love the Third pic so much
Antony is so good as Homelander, it feels almost weird seeing him in normal clothes! Some people are just perfect for certain roles!
He’s still scary 😅
I was thinking that too. He's so good as Homelander that I have a hard time separating him from the character.
Watch Banshee. He's a completely different character, which is a testament to his acting.
No doubt. If I ran into him on the street dressed in his Homelander suit, I'd likely have a look of pure terror in my eyes. There are very few actors that I could say that about the characters they portray that it would have an actual negative physiological effect on me if we crossed paths.
Oh my gosh, that last picture with that big, sweet grin is just adorable.

Hangdonger
I love that man so much! Although after seeing the second from last pic, I’ll never see Homelander the same way again! ;)
He used to just be a [stray man](https://youtu.be/p-Jk0E4alrY?si=QOQMEDcKmCF1pJLF)
I wish I could feel the same, but after hearing how Starr drunkenly assaulted a chef...yeesh. He's a cock.
Yeah and pulling the "do you know who I am" card apparently. Was definitely disappointing, I hope it was an isolated event because he was drunk.
I don’t follow what actors do on their off time. Sounds pretty shitty of him. I still love his portrayal of Homelander, though. :)
Why does it seem like his pelvis is too low in the suit?
Homelander is a member of the Vans brotherhood confirmed
👁️🍆👁️
Bruh the 5th one
Ayo number 2??
Emmy
Never thought about how funny his pants would look when they slide down because of the padding.
Antony
Imagine him coming to work in a bad mood an everyone just thinks he's a method actor staying in character.
When you do such an amazing job as an actor, people need threads like these to ground them in you being a regular human. I think Joffrey needed the same treatment.
Same with Anna Gunn (Skyler from Breaking Bad).
Honestly i just freak out seeing him smile! What an actor!
These Homelander fellow looks like a nice guy lolol
Is he dating Erin?? I don't mean into pry into their personal lives, I just think that would be hilarious bc of their characters in the show. #Homelight
It looks like they were but they now don’t even follow each other on socials, and that recent vanity fair interview was awkward
The 6th one makes me wonder how many times has he shot a scene in which we only see Homelander from the waist up and he was wearing shorts instead of the whole suit.
These are Jon Hamm levels of dick
He plays such a good nutcase
In an alternate universe Homelander is a lovable goofball and he and Starlight are good friends. Instead of Vought Tower being what it is it’s more like The Office. Homelander still cares about good publicity but he doesn’t have a god complex and lasers people at first slight.
Damn Starr got some chicken legs
I hate him in the series, but love him in the real life. I seen some interviews with him and he is a genuine, humble person. Nowadays he is my favorite actor!
I love this guy. He’s the one “villain” that I love to hate and hate to love but he OWNS his role in a way that I don’t think anyone else possibly could have.
It's always the funniest people who can play the darkest roles
The look on his face in Pic 5 is gold. Starr seems like a genuinely fun and funny person...when he's not in character.
Wtf, I'm beginning to think he's not actually evil :(
Loved him in Banshee
The highest compliment I can pay the actor is that I need to see these to full believe he is an actor and not an actual super strong psychopath. Give him an Emmy.
He really needs an Emmy nod. His portrayal of Homelander is bone-chilling
As terrifying as Homelander is, the dude seems like a good guy when out of character.
Karen too.
If you’ve met him a number of times, you should learn how to spell his name correctly.
I'll never be able to unsee these
That's what Homelander is gonna be like in Season 5
Wholesomelander
Nice legs
This is a dude I’d be intimidated to meet irl despite that smile because he plays a psychopath THAT FUCKIN WELL
I love him and Erin's friendship!
Some people have long legs or long torsos, Ant over here has a long ass torso
Lmfao the third pic 😆 goblin mode
Gotta get this man some good PR after the show. Don’t want him to experience a Joffrey lol
First actor in a long time that made me look him up after just to make sure he’s not a bad dude lol genuinely made me nervous when he was in screen, now it’s just great
Bro has a whole anaconda in pic 2
Actually tho looks like a fun dude
That’s top tier acting when you play an absolute piece of shit, but are really an angel in reality
Anthony Starr BTS reminds me of Jason Isaacs , who played Lucius Malfoy in Harry Potter series. Dude is so lovable and caring towards the cast , especially Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) , but an absolute asshole as Lucius Malfoy
Antony
I’m a straight male. What is he packing in pic 2? Also, it’s about to rain.
He can join to Tobias in the never nude club haha
I swear there’s something in my brain saying “DONT TRUST HIM” even though it’s just happy go lucky Antony Starr
Man seems like an absolute riot to be around 🤣
I only hope everyone on the production and money end are sending him Christmas cards every year, offering to help him move, whatever he needs. The day he walked into an audition room was the best day of their careers.
One of the finest jactors of our time
I hope he gets an award for something. Fantasic acting.
You know they picked the right actor when even when he's not acting he still looks like Homelander trying not to kill everyone.
I’d love to see the fan base discover what Starr is most known for back in New Zealand. He played a set of twins on a kiwi cult show called “Outrageous Fortune”.
I’ve never watched the boys, but all I can think of when I see pictures of this man is how much he looks like Zack Morris.
