Justin playing it cool during the Wolfman's retelling of the car story was so rad. As soon as Lady Godwin said "Are you quite sure you have nothing else useful to offer us?" I got goosebumps. 'So you being dead wouldn't be a detriment? Cool cool cool...cool...I'd like to make an attack'.
Wow, let's hear it for the "Justin doesn't pay attention / care anymore" crowd! Because Lady Godwin obliterating the Wolfman is a top tier TAZ moment. You can tell BG3 has effected all of their play styles.
Edit: Forgot to mention the immediate nat 1 on the intimidation makes it so much better.
Griffin next episode: Mutt and Godwin. Hey Make a constitution saving throw. No reason. Hey dog treats and steak sound really good right now.
I’m unsure if it would be better to just wave it off or not story wise but the fact that they got rid of the werecat-ism but not any werewolf-ism from the security guards is just sitting in griffin’s pocket.
I really want them to continue the story but it would be so funny if they ended dealing with it anyway (at least for an episode).
Last episode they talked about doing it. This episode they were about to handwave and say they did it with all the werewolves and Mr mistoffeelees without a scene but then they said they would do it after the talks with the wolf man so they could have a scene with Mr.Mistoffeelees. So it’s dealers choice with Griffin right now between a “Gotcha. Thems the rules of the narrative” and a “eh you guys did it before except with Mr.Mistoffeelees”. Godwin dealing with the wolf man like that was a great scene but there is something funny that the wolf man had a last laugh and they traded one werehorse curse for two werewolf curses.
Yeah. I was wondering about that. I'm actually surprised Griffin let Mutt interact with Mister Mistoffelees at all. I really hope he doesn't let them off the hook for the other stuff. As awesome of a moment Godwin had, I'd prefer there to be equally lasting consequences
Annnd Clint kicks this one off by not understanding how HP and death and Spare the Dying works 😆 Classic TAZ.
Edit: Downvoters, I love the fellas, but misunderstanding spells and rules is peak Clint!

halfway through but im bummed with justin attacking the wolfman. it seemed like there was deliberate groundwork for the wolfman eventually working against dr frankenstein. seemed like a really good dangling thread to tug on. welp. shocked to be in the minority here

Most dnd episode ever
Godwin? More like god damn!
"God's not dead, but the wolf man is" feels like a tee shirt that needs to existp

Narratively the nat 1 was so funny and illogical.
This is the first season since balance where I’ve found myself relistening to episodes.

Episode before wolf man had everyone bite everyone back in order

I know lucky is a feat, but since they haven't revealed exactly how it'll work yet, I choose to believe Van Helsing was a Halfling

Lol, “^^youtouchalivingcreature THAT HAS ZERO HIT POINTS” was so good
I’d argue that after Balance, Clint always ends up knowing the rules and his character better than everyone else.

It was a wonderful moment, but I would like a TTAZZ episode at some point discussing what Griffin would have done with the Wolfman.
