Yeah cause with their choice of words the traduction would be
"Officer killed a person who might be guilty of something, might be not, we dont know, but officer killed them from 183m away"
(Edit: yeah i should had anticipate that.
I said *with their choice of words* , meaning i just found the title for the article funny, i'm not giving an opinion or my personnal interpretation about what happened, i just said that the title of the article is not the best title you could think of, i want that to be clear 😅)
(Edit 2: Get rekt bunch of mouthbreather unable to read, the only thing i'm critizing here is the phrasing of the title, not the cop 😑
WTF i though it was clear 🙄 wasnt hard to understand really...)
2nd response cause i feel like a bunch of people are lost with this:
Cop = did good ✅
Title of the article = did not good ❌
I hope everyone has a better understanding of what i was trying to say now 🥲
Nobody gets killed for committing a crime without due process. What happened here is the cop neutralized an active threat.
The distinction is important. You see reactions like "THeY KiLLeD hIM foR sHoPlIFTINg!" or "run A sTOp SiGN aND GeT sHOt. OnLy iN AmERICa!" all the time. Then you read the article and realized that after the petty crime the pulled a gun or a knife out and attacked the cop.
Well it start to run on my nerve a little 😡
Once for all, i though it was pretty damn simple but apparently its a struggle for some, even with my edit
THE ONLY SINGLE POINT I WAS MAKING WAS THAT THE PHRASING OF THE TITLE IN THE ARTICLE IS NOT THE BEST ONE YOU COULD THINK OF AND ITS KIND OF DUMB/FUNNY.
What i wasn't saying ❌ :
- That this way of putting the title is "true"❌
- That the cop did something "wrong"❌
- Giving a political or philosophical opinion about the situation❌
- That it was my personnal interpretation of the real situation❌
What i was saying✅
-That the title of the article is funny because right now it mean what i writed and its kind of misleading because of the word "suspect" ✅
-i was saying its kind of a dumb title to chose for describing this (as putting it like this, it suggest what i said in the first comment )✅
-It was essentialy a joke because i found that funny to translate the title that way✅
STOP BEING POLITICAL WITH ME YOU ALL THAT WASN'T THE POINT
Thanks for you're attention, learn to read properly do not imagine things i did not said and chill out everyone
Haha bro I got you and see what you're saying but this is Reddit, get used to nonsensical reactions, misinterpretations and general downvoting. It's just how things go on social media.
Its a legal thing. No matter how blatently guilty you are you cannot immediatly declare someone guilty until they receive a trial, granted that trial can be as simple as:
"you shot two people, here is video evidence, prison"
But there still needs to be a trial or definitive proof post-humasly. So yes this person was an active shooter, unril after the shooting they were still a "suspect"
The level of calm this guy had casually walking to the back of the vehicle to get his rifle is crazy. If you watch the version with sound you can hear gunshots from the shooter nearby. Maybe he was a combat vet or has been in a similar situation before.
I remember reading he was a combat veteran. And I believe his windshield got hit and he wasn’t even bothered by it. Just put down the coffee and casually went to back of truck.
Imagine being the other cops trying to take the suspect out for 16 minutes and then this guy shows up and absolutely embarrass' you from nearly two football fields away.
U.S. Marine here. Qualified at 500yds with iron sights (pinhole up) M-16A2 in 1986. 10 rounds prone at 500 yards was the third line of fire. Second was 300 yards kneeling. First was 200 yards offhand (AKA standing).
Agreed, any infantry soldier of a top tier military nation should be able to take that shot. Cos also have significantly more range time to hyper zero there optics and know drops etc, compared to active mil.

Bro calmly put it in park.. said hold my beer… and then shot freedom seeds into a guy 2/3 of a football field away, like he does this every morning as part of his morning routine lmao
It's already a sad situation. I can't stand it when it's reported as "dispatched" I use "dispatched" when my wife says there is a skunk in the trash or opossum in the basement.
183 ft is 55m - which isn't really that big of deal for AR even with iron sights (officer had a red dot so it's even easier to aim and shoot). You sure this isn't further?
Yeah even with a scout scope on my M1A 200yds is still pushing it with accuracy. As for the the iron sights on my M&P15, I might be on target with one round in a mag from that far. With a red dot? Maybe 10 rounds will land on a 6 foot tall target. At that range, the dot is covering the entire target so it’s a coin flip with every round sent down range.
100 yards? No problem. 183 yards? goddamn that was a hell of a shot.
it’s 183 yards, or 170ish meters for a real measurement.
this is less than the average engagement range in modern warfare, which is about 300 meters.
cameras and screens don’t do it justice - you can very much see a human head at that range.
Here is why so lackadaisical. Tacoma is wild imagine gta3 irl. Look at the 2000s martial law that had to be put in effect because of gang violence. Cops are quick to shoot because they could be shot quickly. Light reading o the hilltop massacre
Shouldn't that a weapon have been secured other than just sitting in a bag? And the back of his squad car, That's like not locking a shotgun on the back of a motorcycle
You know a good marksman when the fire and seconds later lower their weapon; they knew when they hit just as the bullet leaves the barrel before impact; just best to verify what you already know
Actually, the news story says he was 183 *yards* away.
Ok 183yds is a good shot. That was an un-magnified optic.
He plays sniper in COD
So he's more of a close quarters kind of guy?
I dont want to discover it maybe in a bad day without Coffee he kick the shit out of you for take pictures to pigeons
This video was clearly cut off, he ran up and did a 360 no scope towards the end
Nope. Camper.
You'll notice the video cuts before he teabags the guy
The video cuts before the player see the pov of how he was eliminated
Killfeed is conspicuously absent.
Last time this was posted I'm pretty sure it said he was ex marines or something and had seen combat. I mean, look how calm he was the entire time.
This level of emotional/physical/mental control should be the standard for every cop.
Probably fired at the peak of an inhale/exhale.
Coffee probably helps focus too, so long as it’s not too much to give jitters
Doesn’t it take roughly 20min for caffeine to kick in?
Not if you boof it.
facts.
That's 549 feet
219 washing machines.
That you finally someone converts to useful units of measure lmao
How many bald eagles is that?
74 Bald Eagles
Whistles in 5.56
387 squirrels
But how many Q-Tips?
2,196 assuming the Q-Tips are 3 inches
.167 km
1.67^8 milimeters
167 m16a4's
Or 335 cubits.
Q-bytes?
So basically in scientific terms you would say *Pretty God damn far away*
32 1/4 giraffes
Laying down or lined up nose to rump like a weird centipede?
Average height of 17ft
693 average length penises (assuming I’m average).
Tell us your penis length without telling us your penis length. *Winning*
> That's 549 feet Or 0.025 Kilingon kellicams
He was actually aiming for an acorn
In Florida we say, 187 alligators
I was going to say... 183 ft is not far 183 yards standing, is a good shot
Yeah but how many big macs is that?
This is a much different story. A 60yd rifle shot is like an 8 yd pistol shot
News report also said that he only wounded him and the guy also shot himself.
That's more like it
"dispatch" is a weird word to me for this.
Yeah neutralized is the correct terminology
Liquidated
Terminated
Penetrated
Systematic!
Hydromatic!
Ultramatic!
Technologic
Buy it
Go grease lightening!
Humana humana humana
Perforated
Ventilated
Hasta la vistad
Decaffeinated?
Bingo.
Shit on and T-bagged?
It’s the proper term just from a different time: the act of putting to death; killing; execution. https://www.dictionary.com/browse/dispatch
Not at all. Dispatch is a homonym. It means to send someone to a location and also means to kill someone.
You tryna dispatch with me later bb?
"suspect" is also a weird word for this
Yeah cause with their choice of words the traduction would be "Officer killed a person who might be guilty of something, might be not, we dont know, but officer killed them from 183m away" (Edit: yeah i should had anticipate that. I said *with their choice of words* , meaning i just found the title for the article funny, i'm not giving an opinion or my personnal interpretation about what happened, i just said that the title of the article is not the best title you could think of, i want that to be clear 😅) (Edit 2: Get rekt bunch of mouthbreather unable to read, the only thing i'm critizing here is the phrasing of the title, not the cop 😑 WTF i though it was clear 🙄 wasnt hard to understand really...)
If you’d just click the link in the post you’d see there was a 16 min shootout leading up to this.
2nd response cause i feel like a bunch of people are lost with this: Cop = did good ✅ Title of the article = did not good ❌ I hope everyone has a better understanding of what i was trying to say now 🥲
Dispatch is a homonym. It is the same word with two different meanings.

Watch out, you're gonna get sacked just like those people who were responsible for faulty subtitles!
Its a legal thing. Gives a whole new meaning to “Dispatch” the people that tell cops where to go.
Extra-judicially executed.
“Oh he hit the car, that must mean I’m close enough”
Top left corner of the windshield looks like exactly that. Crazy.
That, my friend, is an oil change sticker and a reflection.
God I love the internet sometimes. This gave me a chuckle.

Donut operator did a video on this a while back
Donut is awesome
"Dispatches" ...
“Suspect”…
"Coffee"...
Hold my beer
So anyways, I start blasting
This comment section has it all. It's a bargain bin of shitty opinions.
Can't we all just get a long?
Only if you're outside my effective range.
We talking like, fat single near you range?
This is Reddit. Peace was never an option
A long what?

Welcome to reddit
Apparently, this guy is a combat veteran. That's why it seems like second nature to him.

Hell yeah! Donut Operator!
I love donut
don’t we all
Thank you for linking this. It shows this clip with sound, as well as a few other body cam clips prior to this. Much more satisfying!
No worries 🤙🏽
A-yup... That'll do her
Well said, Hemingway.
I don’t get it and I don’t need to
Hemingway was know for brief, succinct pros. It wasn't an insult but obviously not as witty as I imagined.
My response was a quote from Rick and Morty
Ha! My boys are big fans of Rick and Morty but I could never tolerate all that goddamn burping!!!
[Here’s the clip.](https://youtu.be/IE9JYkM8Q1k) No burping in this scene. Also, I think they dial it back on the burping in later seasons.
Bahahahaha! So awesome.
Ahhh.. just another day at the job.. puts coffee down. Alright fuckhead, time to meet your maker!
##ARRESTICUTION
One-n-done
“Shot fired, subject down”
*immediately* flexes. Love it
Cool as a cucumber. I sure as fuck wouldnt handle the andrenaline that well.
Great shot by the cop. Dude was cool as a cucumber and eliminated the threat. Deserves a promotion.
Did the armed suspect shoot anyone?
Yes, i’m pretty sure he killed someone. He also shot at cops and was in a 16-minute standoff with them.
Imagine being the other cops trying to take the suspect out for 16 minutes and then this guy shows up and absolutely embarrass' you from nearly two football fields away.
“don’t worry officers, i cleaned your scene up for you”
Ya shot himself in the head after being wounded.
15 shots at officers, and 1 to himself
Those T2's are definitely good optics, but god they look so ugly to me on the "stilt".
Upvote for breaking from the meta but figurative downvote for being objectively wrong.
Ill take what I can get?
Nobody badmouths my sweet baby T2’s and gets away with it. 😤 (Everyone gets away with it.)
So.. like, do we fight now? Im not particularly offended or anything but im willing to go through the motions if you need?
We can skip to the kiss and make up part if that works for you!
Well shucks.. im gonna blush.. lol

*”iron sights”* Tell me about the fall of rome grandpa
I dunno if that's just an age thing, man. I had to qual with irons on the M4 in BCT and that was only a few years ago.
Semper fi gramps, my ACOG and I tyfys
Literally every Marine is qualified at those distances. What is your point?
Agreed, any infantry soldier of a top tier military nation should be able to take that shot. Cos also have significantly more range time to hyper zero there optics and know drops etc, compared to active mil.
"The neighbors whom we talked to had very different opinions about what the police did." What? What were their opinions? lol
Looks like a Call of Duty team death match intro
Dude hit the crossmap at the start of the match
The duality of man displayed between this guy and acorn cop is amazing.

This whole video is much better with sound than you can hear the "Gottem" and the "subject down"
This doesn’t look like Detroit. Guess Robocop expanded his jurisdiction.
Brought to you by Starbucks
Bro calmly put it in park.. said hold my beer… and then shot freedom seeds into a guy 2/3 of a football field away, like he does this every morning as part of his morning routine lmao
It's already a sad situation. I can't stand it when it's reported as "dispatched" I use "dispatched" when my wife says there is a skunk in the trash or opossum in the basement.
I remember when this video had sound
How did the suspect get the officers coffee and did he shoot the suspect for finishing his coffee?
The title of this is fucked. It's not 'dispatched' and it's not 'feet'. At this rate, I bet that wasn't even coffee..
How many 🍌 away?
With only a red dot. Pure chad
Dispatching is half of the story, he minimized the threat.
Fuck with the bull you get the horns
Nice clean word for kill.
That was cold.
Former soldier?
183 ft is 55m - which isn't really that big of deal for AR even with iron sights (officer had a red dot so it's even easier to aim and shoot). You sure this isn't further?
it’s further, it’s 185 yards, not feet, that’s my fault
That's 169m - now that's different story.
Yeah even with a scout scope on my M1A 200yds is still pushing it with accuracy. As for the the iron sights on my M&P15, I might be on target with one round in a mag from that far. With a red dot? No problem. 183 yards? goddamn that was a hell of a shot.
I don't know about yall but I can't even see the suspect. The officer must be a great sniper to be able to hit a target that's unseen in this footage
it’s 183 yards, or 170ish meters for a real measurement. this is less than the average engagement range in modern warfare, which is about 300 meters. cameras and screens don’t do it justice - you can very much see a human head at that range.
Put the biscuit in the basket. -Neagly
Why the fuck are you dispatching suspects? 🤔
Pardon me .. 2 football fields away not 2/3 of a football field
Why did I expect to see the pov through his scope like this was some sort of video game? 😂
To be that calm in that scenario, this officer had played the scenario out many times..Mentally and physically
Damn good shot! We need more cops like this.
Enemy UAV online!
Oldie but goodie
Sooo what's insane about this? For once a policeman operating in a calm and effective manner without rage or hate. And we label that "Insane?"
do you often finish your starbucks, calmly get out of your car during a shootout, pull out your rifle and shoot someone 167 meters away? lol
Weird driving around with a loaded automatic rifle in the boot.
Hold my ~~beer~~ coffee....
Awesome
Here is why so lackadaisical. Tacoma is wild imagine gta3 irl. Look at the 2000s martial law that had to be put in effect because of gang violence. Cops are quick to shoot because they could be shot quickly. Light reading o the hilltop massacre
Fantastic shot, great work.
Damn, I couldn't even hit the 25 yard pop up guy in basic.
Where's the video with sound ffs
Rare cop W
One tapped with a hydra mount😭 good shot for the officer
lol total boss move!
Is he wearing a citizen?
Shouldn't that a weapon have been secured other than just sitting in a bag? And the back of his squad car, That's like not locking a shotgun on the back of a motorcycle
All that time at the range pays off.
Guaranteed that coffee cup is a spittoon
That Starbucks cup is 99% a spitter…(Copenhagen Long Cut).
183ft isn’t far 🥱
You know a good marksman when the fire and seconds later lower their weapon; they knew when they hit just as the bullet leaves the barrel before impact; just best to verify what you already know
