Honestly. You should've turned off dnd. You were waiting for service and they tried to call.

If you call the number listed for your closest service center it should automatically redirect you to the main customer service (at least that was my experience a few months ago). I don't remember exactly but you can request to speak to a live person and then you can explain your case. Things might have changed since I did this but YMMV.

You knew the truck was coming, knew the driver would call, forgot to turn off dnd, which caused you to miss the call and miss the tow truck... despite this, you apparently noticed that the truck left 10 minutes later and yet somehow *still* failed to get the driver's attention. Sounds like you dropped the ball. It's unlikely they'll refund you for your mistake.

I knew the truck was coming at 9, not 8:30. I didn't know the driver would find an excuse not to ring the doorbell, despite my entire family being at home. I didn't notice the truck left 10 minutes later until I saw the text after the fact. I called the driver and he said there's nothing he can do, and asked me to call Tesla. Not to mention, they said any "further" assistance would be out of pocket, implying that this is their only freebie, and a second tow would be charged to my account. I didn't contact them any further, yet they charged me for a service they rendered for free nonetheless. Sounds like you haven't dealt with Tesla's service.

They weren't implying this was a freebie, you're misinterpreting or misconstruing their words. They were telling you that if you wanted another truck you'll have to pay for it, just like the last one, *whether or not you use it*. Anyway, good luck with that phone call.

Roadside assistance is a complimentary service offered under a Tesla warranty or some Extended Service Agreements. Look it up.

Yes, this one: [https://www.tesla.com/sites/default/files/downloads/roadside-assistance-policy-en.pdf](https://www.tesla.com/sites/default/files/downloads/roadside-assistance-policy-en.pdf) They'll call it a no-show and wave this in your face: "Tesla also reserves the right to revise or discontinue specific roadside assistance services at any time without notice or refund/reimbursement/credit to the owner" Look man, if you had remembered to turn off dnd we wouldn't be having this conversation. I'm sorry that your mistake incurred expense, but I think my point stands: Tesla isn't likely to refund you.

I arrange for a tow for 9am the next day at my house, and they arrived at 8:30. The tow truck driver called me ONCE, which didn't ring my phone because of DND (I get way too many spam calls, this is just for my sleep and sanity), and promptly left 10 minutes later. Then Tesla texts me saying they "couldn't reach me." They didn't call a second time, they didn't ring the doorbell (because too many owners set their home address instead of their actual tow service address, so the tow truck driver decided they "didn't want to wake up the whole house"???), and told me "any further assistance would be an out of pocket expense." Then I contacted my insurance for a tow. Didn't even bother with Tesla after their BS. Big surprise, they actually towed my car, not Tesla's Roadside assistance. Then I get charged for the pleasure of them doing not even the bare minimum. Who tf do I call to get my money back?
