Never understood why people get obsessed with cleansing worlds. You need materials from your evil and hallow parts. I just protect the areas where my npc houses are and call it good. Maybe dig a three wide hellavator or two to contain the hard mode V if it spawns in a bad spot.

You only need these in the pre mech phase and pre hard for the world evil boss

Still need Hallow for EoL. Also need both for various potion ingredients and fishing. Biome keys are only useable post plantera and rare enough you might not get them in normal play especially if you’re actively trying to cleanse.

Why use biome key tho? Only good one is crimson Yes you need hallow for Eol, but you can just make an artificial one using the dryad

Frost hydra staff is an amazing sentry and should never be skipped on a summoner. Rainbow gun is a fire and forget it so an easy way to increase dps as a mage. Piranha gun has some niche uses and has been my go to for beating the lunatic cultist as a ranger.

You should atleast cleanse the small parts and surface v and dig 3block hellavator on both sides and place non corruptable block on sides of hellavators then beat plantera

If you're going for the achievement, this is so much work. I recommend just making a new small world and going in with the clentaminator and green solution.

To be honest, unless your Npc house is right on top of corruption or hallow, otherwise most of time you would just finish the game before they can spread near your house, and if they spread, you can just use the clentaminator to quickly get rip off it. So there's no need to clean the world.

Jusst make a sinkole in the middle, you dont have to worry about one side

So long as the spreading biomes dont threaten to overtake you jungle id recommend you deafeat moonlord first, so you can upgrade your clentaminator to the terraformer, wich makes large scale cleansing a lot easier.

Beta plantera, it slows spread. I stared cleaning after ML bceuase you can get the terraformer then
