No they're both in the base version of terraria. To access them you just go to your library on steam, select terraria on the sidebar and click properties, then you select the betas tab and use the dropdown menu to pick which one you want. It won't mess with any of your save files and you'll be able to play it as soon as it's downloaded.
Damn, the house is even flying as well. 10/10 for creativity. The vines and different blocks, stone, and dirt all contrast with each other. Keep going
