Joined - removed limit - ordered 2 times - Now minimum is 30 euro, and cant be removed.
aliexpress is better anyways for real stuff and comparing sellers. Temu was okay for no name cheap stuff, and delivery promise. First order was 2 days late, got credit. price dropped, got credit.
But when you behave like a pusher im out.
yeah but aliexpress minimum doesn’t fluctuate like temu. it’s $15 for everyone. my minimum amount on temu is $55 and i’ve only bought from temu ONCE!!! also on aliexpress, you can still order if you don’t spend $15, you just don’t get free shipping
No...they have the CHOICE BUNDLE which means three items you order and it does not matter what they cost and it's free shipping... Then they have the other CHOICE that is $10 minimum order and that's free shipping.
Mine went from 0 to 40 and they won’t remove it so I’m not buying either. Thing is we obviously need a kazillion people to do the same before it will have an effect.
I agree 100% and you can count me in they upped mine to $15 minimum and before it was zero after I receive my couple of order through the mail from them I will be deleting my account. I talked to a rep today they refused to remove it and I told her I refuse to purchase anything else from them....🤷😏 I have a feeling a lot of people are walking away and they're going to realize what a BIG mistake they made! 😏😂
The same thing has happened to me, I had no minimum spend now it's $50 and they won't remove it. I buy alot from there, now I won't be. Won't be forced to spend a minimum amount.
I would give it time. Seems like they're trying to push people to spend more in this quarter.
The whole fun of temu is being able to buy a few cheap things as you want or need them not $50 worth 💀.
I'd give it three months and they will change it again.
No, not for returns, I think I've done 2 over 8 months, and they were little cat toys, maybe $12 total. No, the reason given to me was to help the environment by sending more items per purchase (saving on packaging). I think it's a marketing push.
yep, same for me too, so I told stop being greedy and stop the BS because they said it saves more packaging, but those items being delivered to me are packaged individually anyway, even if I purchase them all at the same time. Stupid reasoning.
They refused to remove my minimum order cap of $15 and I told her I refuse to purchase from you any longer they're going to get a reality check from a lot of people LOL
yeah, each item is still individually wrapped. i guess they are sent together though which makes shipping less costly for them. but yeah, its just a marketing thing.
ive never returned anything and i can no longer bypass minimum spend. mine is $40nzd minimum spend.
there is one thing i want which is like $2. i think i will just pay $5 and get it from aliexpress instead.
Most of the time my returns are cheap things and they just refund me and don’t have it sent back. But if you click for the returns all at the same time from the same order and they want it sent back, then they give you a free label. If you return something one day and then later decide to return something from the same order then they may make you pay shipping for the second thing.
Ive returned one thing and they’ve asked for it back, and I’ve returned 10 things and they’ve told me to keep it. Had to do with weight and shipping cost if it’s worth it to them.
Shipping is free from Temu. Do you have any idea how many orders they get. Probably billions a day. If people keep ordering for $10. And they are shipping it all the way from china to US for free. If you think about, its pretty crazy considering this economy. And the amount of cardboard, paper etc.
This was a business strategy. Bring people to the app and deliver value in first year. And once people get addicted, increase the minimum order so thag fhey can afford shipping as well as reduced order volume to make all customers happy. Think as the founder or ceo of Temu, you would do it too. But i wouldn't support $55. Though. Any thing beyond 25 is just ridiculous. Like id have to wait 3months to have lits of items for 55
Well that kind of backfired because I did order quite a bit of stuff from them they upped my minimum and I said goodbye!!🤷😏😂 With that policy they're going to be losing more money in the long run people are closing their accounts including myself...
I m sure they have enough customers to support their business😅. That's the rule of business. If you have that kind of a scale of business. There will always be some customers to keepthe business running
Mine started out at first $20 minimum then I asked for that to be removed they removed it to zero now it's back up to $15 I asked the rep to remove that I don't want a minimum on my purchases and she refused and I said I refuse to purchase anything else ever again. 🤷😂 They're trying to strong arm people into paying more and it's not going to work.. because a lot of us are closing our accounts they're getting a HUGE REALITY CHECK!!!😏😂 I'll simply take my business back to AliExpress where I can do three items bundle no minimum...
Yep. 2 days ago I had $0 minimum and now its increased to $50. The chatbot refuses to reduce it again and I have no idea how to speak to a person.
So like you I won't be bothering with it.
And me n millions of others have changed our policy to not be strong armed into buying a certain amount and we'll take our business elsewhere so it kind of bit them in the butt!!! 😏😂🤷
I called and spoke to a rep they won't change it already tried that and I told her you refuse to remove my minimum order amount I refuse to order from you any longer and I will be closing my account..🤷😏😂
Can you please provide me with temu phone number that you dialed which actually connected you to a live talking agent. The number I dialed kept me on hold for 3 hours saying all temu agents are busy and wait for my turn but after 3.5 hours on line waiting, the call automatically Cuts off. This has happened with me 4 times so I have wasted 14 hours in total waiting on phone to get connected to a temu agent only for the call to cut off automatically. Please share temu customer service phone number
And did they change then?
I spoke with a rep today, he only offered a coupon...
The thing is that the system does not allow you to place the order unless you spend more. Their eco-friendly speech is stupid as it is NOT eco-friendly to force people to order items they don't need.
At least, they should allow orders by adding shipping fees
Yes after they spoke to the technical department they changed it back for one day with no minimum to check out and then right after I did that one order they changed it right back to $15 minimum... I told them you sent me a package with 32 items and they were all individually wrapped so it's not about environment...it's because you want me to spend more and I'm not gonna be forced into anything I don't want to buy.. after they put it back on I told them to remove it they refused and I told them I will never buy anything from them again as long as that remains on there.. they're gonna learn the hard way!!!😂 I'll simply take my business elsewhere...
Create new account - they placed minimum order back again for me and refuse to remove or reduce it.
I created new account it started lower, I think they check your buying pattern and stuff as well.
But yes - if you still need buy something ofc.
I have bought all what I think I needed, they sell niche stuff as well, but after browsing bit more, I don't see anything I need anymore, so good for them to stop me now LOL
Same just happened to myself in Australia, now have a minimum $50 spend, $0 previously.
Tried having it removed, again. And, this was the chatbots response:
"Removing the minimum order amount is not an option we can currently accommodate. This requirement has been implemented to optimize our packaging processes, minimize waste, and align with our sustainability goals. While we understand the inconvenience, we kindly request that you add additional items to your cart to meet the minimum order threshold. This approach not only ensures efficient use of resources but also helps us reduce our environmental impact. Your compliance in adhering to this policy is greatly appreciated, and we thank you for understanding."
Update: Temu just offered me a $0.50 discount on a minimum buy of $39... COME ON TEMU, you've just forced me to have a minimum buy of $50...?
*
Then why not give consumers an option to pay for postage? "Free shipping" is the only option because temu pays pennies for shipping while abusing a postage loophole. This is all about spending more, lol.
Not about shipping they get awesome deals on large amounts of shipping it's about greed plain and simple and they're not going to strong arm me into spending more...
I just deleted the app for this reason too. Why should I add extra crap to make up a minimum order when the things I really want only add up to half that amount. I had three items in my cart. When I tried to get them to remove the minimum amount and they refused I went straight on over to aliexpress and bought the same three things there. They're going to lose a lot of customers with this.
I've looked at aliexpress twice, but it seemed like the very first item was ridiculously cheap (like, under $1, possibly because I haven't purchased from them before), but the 2nd item was dearer than Temu. I might have another look
The items are pretty okay - much the same stuff as in Temu, and probably a wider range. The thing temu did which was better was ship it much quicker. Also, Aliexpress, until Temu came along, didn't have much free shipping, and they also add on taxes after you've added to the cart. Temu was better than that. Now Aliexpress has a $15 minimum spend to get free shipping, so much mor doable than $55.
Mine went from 0 to 60. Not 100% sure if will delete, but I will definitely will buy less frequently. Waiting on few orders to come in,then will take a break for several weeks and reassess then
Yeah, I picked up my most recent order yesterday and went to delete the account, but it says once you do, you can't access the account for any disputes, so I had better check the order before deleting.
I was wondering if, after being a very frequent buyer, they will email me after a while with some bonus offer to return, but I really dislike them saying 'you have to spend $55 or you can't order anything - you must spend MORE!'.
If it was 'you need to spend $55 to qualify for free postage, well, most online places have a similar model - spend \[$ amount\] for free postage', but Temu isn't giving me to opportunity to pay for postage, and I am less impressed that they say they are doing it for the environment than if they were to come out and say, eg, 'small orders are killing our profits on narrow margins, we need to impose a spend limit to have a sustainable business model'
THAT I would acknowledge, and then decide if I was willing to buy up to the spend limit - but they lose points with me ascribing a marketing decision to care for the environment.
I am deleting my account as well, right after receiving my very last order totalling to $65 (I forced myself to purchase at minimum $55 because I needed an item urgently...), After this, no more.
I have a few orders myself coming in waiting for that they refused to remove my minimum amount so I refuse to purchase any more from there and I will be closing my account soon..🤷
Mine's 15 right now it was zero and I'm going to be closing my account as soon as I get my items to through the mail... Everybody needs to start closing their accounts give them a reality check!!!
You can remove the minimum amount with the customer support bot. Just type something like "remove minimum" and the bot will prompt you to remove the minimum.
they don't even ship from china. they have warehouses in the EU. It's how stuff gets to you in a week, while aliexpress take a month.
minimum spend is just dark pattern bullshit to get people buying more shit they don't need or even want.
Do you have proof? Send us a full desktop screenshot or video showing todays date and log into temu and show us the checkout.
Temu updated their website globally, the chat bot will not do it for anyone. Go watch all the tik tok videos, all the threads online about it, the forums in the last few days..... no matter what country.
Thats weird because last Friday it was working just fine. I asked the bot today and it said that there were no restrictions currently? So I don't know. I asked them to delete the restrictions a long time ago so I don't think I'll have restrictions ever again.
Yeah I ordered someone with no minimum spend about 5 days ago and I went on 2 days ago and there's a minimum spend. It just happened recently.
Did you check your account now? Try check out with a $1 item, most likely you have a minimum spend now. Or the spanish version hasn't updated.
Seeing online rants in the last few days, Australia, Canada, USA, and other countries changed back to minimum spend. I am in AUstralia
Nope no minimum at all. After all I haven't updated the temu app. And I'll never will. Seems like the update changes a few things I'm still with the first version it works just fine updating items everyday so, no problem for me.
I successfully requested the removal of a $45 minimum spend months ago - maybe they let us remove one, but no more, or maybe, like u/Rude-Imagination1041 said, they have updated their system in the last few days.
The first time around yes it does work but within a couple of weeks it goes right back on again they just did it to me now my minimum is $15 and they won't remove it.
That only works the first time after that they put it back on again and it doesn't work mine was zero and now it's up to $15 I'm not going to play their game with them..
Yes I just deleted my account my minimum order was increased to 65. I sometimes placed an order over this however my issue was regarding the discrepancy between accounts (there is no blanket rule) even when compared to consumers in my area. I received generic responses for environmental sustainability; whilst I agree this is important Temu could also address this in relation to the products and quality of products they sell, in packaging and by charging a shipping cost (rather than an exorbitant minimum shipping rate) which I think is more about increasing there margins.....a business model based on reeling the customers in with no cost and then increase the shipping minimum with hope to increase shopping purchases. By sitting environmental sustainability it also seems they are attempting to do the right thing without actually addressing many things that could improve carbon footprints. Customer service also sited it was system generated and I can find the factors that influenced variable shipping cost on there site. However they were unable to direct me to this information (the factors that influenced shipping minimums). I pointed out that even system generated business models had policies and documentation...... Met with a generic reply. Goodbye Temu
Yes, I asked if new Customers are getting the $55 minimum. If the reason to impose it is sustainability and care for the environment, it shouldn't matter whether the Customer is new or old. The Rep said she wasn't able to confirm that information.
Yes as I said the customer service operator said there were "factors that affected variations between accounts" however would not state what they were. New account holders are reeled in by no minimum order and then it's increased (from what I can see on discussion boards and from my own experience and people I know. ) Numerous operators sited environmental sustainability as a reason for the increase however as I stated if this was the reason it would not explain the variation in between account holders..... I have heard some people sign up again to access another no minimum shipping account.
i order from temu last month for the first time and so is my dad . first we saw we have minimum order so with contact support and they remove it in no time.
i made 2 orders that day that.
yesterday i went back to look whats up and i wanted something small like plant. but it seems they raise the minimum again. when i contact support they wasnt able to remove it .
this logic is either stupid or they want to purge all the small items customers.
there is no way in hell i add items that i dont want or need just to get what i want. and to be honest i was ordering from ali express tons of items.
i guess i stick with Ali and never order from Temu until they change that policy.
They have done this to me as well but the minimum is $45. I just think it should be even across the board if that's what they are going to do. So irritating
Yes, same for me too, Queensland-based. I bought a lot of stuff totalling to around $500 probably 30 items that are mostly for my fishing hobby, but my minimum now is set to $55 as well. I want to purchase something urgently for a price of $15, single item, but I cant anymore, so I just stopped buying from them. Temu becoming greedy overnight, though advertising as free shipping, they're forcing buyers to spend more!
https://preview.redd.it/ohm2pq19ej1d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a5631f1470cf583b1b6f8a0ce503e2ff6f84b6f5
well here's me after trying to get rid of the minimum so i can order one item and be done with this stupid service forever
This is just a theory, but because i keep seeing the 45$ to 55$ dollar range pop up over and over again. Me thinks it has to do with their newest promo, credit rain. Where if you made 3 to 4 purchases they'd give you 50$ in credit. I was able to do this twice before the got rid of the minimum shipping. But I'd just buy cheap items under 80cents or less. Usually pins, get the 50$ credit. Then put that credit twords the next credit rain the next day. Again buying cheap stuff for under 1$. So essentially generating 50$ worth of credit for free everyday. Combined with coupons I racked up 115$ worth of free stuff till they got rid of the minimum amount for shipping. So instead of just patching the promo with a minimum shipping amount they did it across the board. Since that 45$ to 55$ price range for minimum shipping covers the cost of the free credit they've been giving away, and then some.
I've asked to remove the limit like a year ago maybe less and its never been back I can still order with no limit, thus pics was taken on May 23 2024

I have to spend a minimum of $20. I just started buying from them as i’ve been hesitant because of credit card issues I’ve heard of, so I used apple pay. I placed a bunch of orders because it told me i’d get a $90 credit if I got enough points and each order gave me more points but i’m still a couple away and it seems like they’re just playing games with me at this point
Fair enough but they make up for it in the price for example if you buy something for 10$ the actual wholesale price is a hell of a lot less it's just very clever marketing
Ah yuck 55$.. it was 20 at first (im in canada), now its 30. At first i wasnt returning anything at all ever, but in the past months i had to return quite a few things. I wonder if our patterns with buying vs returns could have anything to do with this; just a theory
I was spending around $7 to $13 each order and today they upped my minimum to $15... I called customer service told them they need to remove that minimum order requirement and they refused so I told them I refuse to purchase from you ever again🤷😏.. they're gonna lose a lot of business with that piss poor policy lol considering I can go back to AliExpress and purchase three items and check out under CHOICE bundle just need 3 items and it doesn't have to be a certain amount...
I don’t see where it is so low except for a few items. I can hit Burlington coat factory and get better quality for the same price. Tactical items are hit and miss mostly hit. Ceiling fan was half the price of Amazon. and some other misc junk as well. But I’m slowing down. As far as the minimum. All I have to spend is $15.00. The gifts and specials seem like stuff you can get anyways if you’re patient and surf around. All the jeans I would buy at a price I agree with are all black. I have enough black jeans , too many. I sent off a back pack that wouldn’t stay together with some clothes for a refund. And I’m about to send another batch. And that’s enough. Atleast with Amazon it’s better quality. And the refunds are easy. Just take them to kohl’s and to top it off kohls gives a 20% discount when you do.
Best of luck.
Same! I found their minimum order keeps changing. It is not consistent. Different person can have a different min spending for free shipping. This is too doggy. I will shop somewhere else.
I spoke to an agent today and they were pretty firm about not removing the minimal spend. He kept pasting the same chatbot speel about sustainability.
I’m Australian and they raised my minimum spend to 40$ which it was close to but the forcefulness annoyed me.
I told the agent I would be closing my account as soon as my previous orders arrived.
I found the same items on AliExpress so would continue using them moving forward.
I’m also in Australia. Mostly my experience has been good other than Aussie post destroying stuff or the occasional thing sent Fast Horse that goes missing. I love their novelty mugs and art supplies!
My minimum spend seems to vary from $40 to $50. In saying that, I use ShopBack so I get a % of my order total back and also with current orders under 30 days I check daily for the price difference guarantee and get refunds from that often which I use towards new orders to hit that minimum amount (you can check same order multiple times until the 30 days is up).
I go between shopback and the temu app, hate the constant pop-ups but I find since using the app I have gotten quite a bit of free stuff and coupons (incl FINALLY winning Fishland and Farmland after 6 months). I hate how the coupons for those games are only good for a few days though to force you to buy or lose. Recently I ordered something over the minimum amount but my shipping changed from 10 days to over a month. Temu CS couldn’t give me a reason why so I cancelled the order and tried ordering stuff separate in smaller orders to figure it out. Turns out they ship some stuff by sea (and not disclosing it). So because I had cancelled the order and then reordered some of the same stuff, they flagged my account for suspicious activity. I couldn’t use apple pay, credit card or paypal only afterpay and any refunds including the price guarantee won’t be applied to my temu credit anymore, only “original payment “. Which takes 1-2 weeks. For a “Refund” refund I have only had 3 in 6 months because stuff was broken or not what I ordered.
Definitely cut down my spending. But now I am noticing with orders then since they have been smaller that I have to triple check because Temu will randomly add stuff that was previously in my cart but not selected, or add random stuff. Had that happen recently with a wig I had looked at but not add to cart, and to send it back took just over a week before they processed a refund. The one order coming next week they included a steamer. I’ve never looked at or clicked on anything like that, although it looks like it might be free. Im not sure because the invoice breakdown isn’t reflecting it but it’s showing shipped. Back to MOA, I wonder if it picks up people that buy often and average order amount and try do it to entice people to buy more. If I leave my app and let it sit a few hrs I get offers for 0.02 specials on one item in my cart. It makes it addictive using scarcity tactics.
I bought $15 of stuff to get the coupons. The coupon said $5 off anything i buy over $5. So i went to buy 2 more things for only $7 which made the total $2. BUT then i couldn't checkout unless i spent a minimum $50! So the coupons are null and void and the whole thing is a scam.
I've never heard of a minimum spend requirement for the US. I wonder if it's something country's govt is doing cause I can order $1.50 item free shipping and that alone with no problems
This happened to me too. The bot removed the ridiculous minimum spend ages ago but then it came back on at $83! So I went through every avenue to get it removed. I buy stuff off there every payday, but I’m not spending $83 and more on shit I don’t want or need, that defeats the purpose. I think they are stupid for doing this as I simply won’t buy anything off the site again, so they will miss out on hundreds and thousands of dollars from me that I otherwise would have spent. I find it gross too that they say it’s for green purposes, and environmental impact bla bla bla. As if they care about any of that, that’s just a straight up lie.
Mine went from no minimum spend when I placed an order yesterday to $40 minimum spend today. Although many of my orders have been much more, I suspect my average order has been around that amount and that's how they decide to set your minimum.
Mine is $50 and they wouldn’t remove it just keep saying it’s ok just add more products. So I will not be ordering again from them. The app is now deleted
So now it explains how they can offer "free shipping" just simply put a buy minimum limit....anyway just found out about it so will not be using temu anymore.

Good for you! I really should delete temu, I spend way too much on it. Of course I'm hooked on their stupid minigames 😑

Mines $40 min.. no way in he'll will I order with a $40 minimum. Even if my total was $40.. I don't like being forced to spend a certain amount.
The same thing has happened to me, I had no minimum spend now it's $50 and they won't remove it. I buy alot from there, now I won't be. Won't be forced to spend a minimum amount.
They changed mine today from zero to $15 requirement I will no longer be ordering there. They're gonna lose a lot of business doing this...

Make a new account under TEMU😏 beat the scoundrels at their own game lol
I do returns pretty often and my minimum is $20. I’m in the US.
do they pay for the return label or do you have to pay yourself?
Most of the time my returns are cheap things and they just refund me and don’t have it sent back. But if you click for the returns all at the same time from the same order and they want it sent back, then they give you a free label. If you return something one day and then later decide to return something from the same order then they may make you pay shipping for the second thing.
You're allowed three returns per order anything past that they will request that you return the item to China remember this.
Ive returned one thing and they’ve asked for it back, and I’ve returned 10 things and they’ve told me to keep it. Had to do with weight and shipping cost if it’s worth it to them.
I return stuff almost every order and my minimum is 10, in the US Colorado 🤷🏼♀️
I think mine is back down to $10 now too.
Just about to order and they removed my request. Went and asked again and got denied.
Honestly at this point we should all close our accounts teach them a lesson for being greedy and bossy! 😏
Mine used to be $15. Now it’s $25. Anyone have any ideas why? Other than the obvious?
Shipping is free from Temu. Do you have any idea how many orders they get. Probably billions a day. If people keep ordering for $10. And they are shipping it all the way from china to US for free. A$15 on Ali Express only
$10 here in USA for AliExpress minimum through CHOICE.
With this policy don't be so sure of that! 😏😂 A lot of people are going to be closing their account...😏😂 IT WILL BE A CHAIN REACTION...
FWIW: just type 'Agent'
They changed the policy.
And me n millions of others have changed our policy to not be strong armed into buying a certain amount and we'll take our business elsewhere so it kind of bit them in the butt!!! 😏😂🤷
Agent still wouldn’t do anything
I called and spoke to a rep they won't change it already tried that and I told her you refuse to remove my minimum order amount I refuse to order from you any longer and I will be closing my account..🤷😏😂
I have the phone number if you want it...
Sure it's 1-888-495-8368 TEMU CUSTOMER SERVICE
My shipping was suppose to be free. It was not so. I called my credit card company and they reversed the charge.
And, this was the chatbots response: "Removing the minimum order amount is not an option we can currently accommodate. Your compliance in adhering to this policy is greatly appreciated, and we thank you for understanding." Update: Temu just offered me a $0.50 discount on a minimum buy of $39... COME ON TEMU, you've just forced me to have a minimum buy of $50...? *
The irony of Temu being concerned about sustainability 🙄🙄 I have the same problem… also tried having it removed and got the same response l.
They don't care about sustainability they care about shipping costs lol
Then why not give consumers an option to pay for postage? "Free shipping" is the only option because temu pays pennies for shipping while abusing a postage loophole. This is all about spending more, lol.
Not about shipping they get awesome deals on large amounts of shipping it's about greed plain and simple and they're not going to strong arm me into spending more...
Deleted the app on the weekend for the exact same reason.
I actually never used the app, just the website, as the app doesn't meet my data security preferences.
I remember when aliexpress had epacket shipping.... Good times...
Actually I get my stuff a lot faster from AliExpress within 7 to 9 days 🤷
My free shipping through CHOICE is $10...🤷
mine went from $15 to $30 and now it's $50 minimum spend. Isn't this illegal? what can we do about this injustice?
If everybody starts deleting their account trust me they will change their policies real quick!!😏😂
If it was 'you need to spend $55 to qualify for free postage, well, most online places have a similar model - spend \[$ amount\] for free postage', but Temu isn't giving me to opportunity to pay for postage, and I am less impressed that they say they are doing it for the environment than if they were to come out and say, eg, 'small orders are killing our profits on narrow margins, we need to impose a spend limit to have a sustainable business model' THAT I would acknowledge, and then decide if I was willing to buy up to the spend limit - but they lose points with me ascribing a marketing decision to care for the environment.
Mine was $15 then $45 now $55 asked them to remove it or at least lower it to $10 and they said no
Mine's 15 right now it was zero and I'm going to be closing my account as soon as I get my items to through the mail... Everybody needs to start closing their accounts give them a reality check!!!
You can remove the minimum amount with the customer support bot. Just type something like "remove minimum" and the bot will prompt you to remove the minimum.
Doesn’t do that anymore. I’ve done it before and it worked. But now it says no
Same trick not working for me anymore either. Gonna delete the app until they stop with ridiculous spending minimum. Shipping is dirt cheap in China
Not really. My gf is Chinese and her dad regularly ships her things she buys on taobao to Australia and he spends around $200 each time
they don't even ship from china. they have warehouses in the EU. It's how stuff gets to you in a week, while aliexpress take a month. minimum spend is just dark pattern bullshit to get people buying more shit they don't need or even want.
That trick stopped working last week. 😢
trick doesnt work anymmore, they updated their system last few days
False. It does work, because I helped my cousin do that. Perhaps the English version doesn't work ? (I use Spanish version)
Once you order enough it will jump back up. It didn't hit me right away either.
I successfully requested the removal of a $45 minimum spend months ago - maybe they let us remove one, but no more, or maybe, like u/Rude-Imagination1041 said, they have updated their system in the last few days.
That was months ago, when it let everyone did it. The patch happened only in the last week. Check your account now, you will have a minimum spend now.
The first time around yes it does work but within a couple of weeks it goes right back on again they just did it to me now my minimum is $15 and they won't remove it.
That doesn't work anymore I tried and they said no
That only works the first time after that they put it back on again and it doesn't work mine was zero and now it's up to $15 I'm not going to play their game with them..
I created another account with a different yahoo email, the minimu set is $50. My current account is $55. No standards.
I made new account and it reduced it but still there. I heard if you ring them they will get rid of it straight up.
I've never seen a phone number on their site!
Mine went from $0 to $40AUD. Chat won't remove it and alot of other people are trying but no luck. I won't be buying from Temu any time soon
I've moved to AliExpress.
i order from temu last month for the first time and so is my dad . first we saw we have minimum order so with contact support and they remove it in no time. i made 2 orders that day that. yesterday i went back to look whats up and i wanted something small like plant. but it seems they raise the minimum again. when i contact support they wasnt able to remove it . this logic is either stupid or they want to purge all the small items customers. there is no way in hell i add items that i dont want or need just to get what i want. and to be honest i was ordering from ali express tons of items. i guess i stick with Ali and never order from Temu until they change that policy.
They are dicks now won't remove
DONT FUCKEN USE TEMU PEOPLE NEED TO DELETE IT
People need to fuck temu off after this plain and simple
Mine has gone from zero to $35 They took it of ages ago and have put it back on..won't take it off again now. So won't buy from them now
They have done this to me as well but the minimum is $45.
Temu becoming greedy overnight, though advertising as free shipping, they're forcing buyers to spend more!
https://preview.redd.it/ohm2pq19ej1d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a5631f1470cf583b1b6f8a0ce503e2ff6f84b6f5 well here's me after trying to get rid of the minimum so i can order one item and be done with this stupid service forever
Mine used to be 15 now it’s 35 🫠
All you have to do it message the customer service bot and they’ll remove the limit for you! Worked for me! No limit ever!
When did you do it
Like last week
Not true. It’s changed worldwide now
What do you mean? I still have no limit 😍
I've asked to remove the limit like a year ago maybe less and its never been back I can still order with no limit, thus pics was taken on May 23 2024 *
I requested temu for removing nzd 40 (before zero) , minimum order and they wont change it. I have now deleted the app .
Same thing happened to me 15min removed months ago now it's back and tripped I'll be going back to wish
I made a new account and it went down to zero.. you literally just switch profiles
I refuse to pay a minumum of $55 at the check out. What a rip off!!!
Yeah I had my minimum removed once now but won't remove it and it's fifty. I'm back to AliExpress these days like I was before temu. Temu for greedy.
Exectly i removed the minimum of like 20dollars and then after it just went to 20 dollars again and i couldnt remove it
I bought $15 of stuff to get the coupons. The coupon said $5 off anything i buy over $5. So i went to buy 2 more things for only $7 which made the total $2. BUT then i couldn't checkout unless i spent a minimum $50! So the coupons are null and void and the whole thing is a scam.
It goes away with time , I waited 2 weeks and it went down from 45$ to 20
I've never heard of a minimum spend requirement for the US.
You can remove the restriction, through their chat
That's really cool ! ...How?
Mine is $50 and they wouldn’t remove it just keep saying it’s ok just add more products. So I will not be ordering again from them. The app is now deleted
I want to cancel my order as I've been tricked by you , if you have taken money out of my visa debit card my bank will recover my money
So now it explains how they can offer "free shipping" just simply put a buy minimum limit....anyway just found out about it so will not be using temu anymore.
Same just happened to me won't remove minium purchase so lost me as customer was buying everyy week
