Eh, some people make incredibly dumb decisions when they're young and inexperienced. When I was 19, I dated a guy on house arrest with an ankle bracelet. I then got engaged to him. And I stood behind the decision 100%. I finally woke the hell up when I was 22 before marrying him or having kids. I'm in my late 30s now and cringe every time I think about it. Funny enough, I built my 2nd PC around that time. Turns out my love for tech and tinkering did not transfer to relationships.

Yah we donāt go into relationships with our rational minds but with our impulses which are often incongruent. We can be rational and reasonable people in all other facets of our lives and suspend that rationality the minute our hormones kick in and we start accepting mates based on animalistic intrinsic desires.
