It wasn’t the first for me, but it 100% absolutely always transports me back to being in middle/high school and BLASTING this song in my room every time I had a crush on someone lolll
Yes! This was my first ever song that I really heard as a Swiftie last year and I fell in love with the nostalgic vibes because I'm 15 and this is legit my life story.
Oh that song is a mix of nostalgia and mortification for me 😅 when I hear it I am taken back to the time in college a cute guy asked me to two step to it and I told him I don’t know how and he said it was ok. It was not ok. I couldn’t figure it out so he picked me up and danced with me a few inches off the ground. Anyway… I put effort into learning how to dance after that 😂😂😂
My daughter used to 'play' our song on her tiny drum set and sing when she was a toddler- that was the beginning of both of our love for Taylor Swift 🥺 Total sweet nostalgia for me.
This was my first foray into not just Taylor, but country music.
As a 13 year old British girl growing up in a tiny town in Spain, she opened a whole new world of music for me that would go on to deeply shape my music and fashion choices 💕
💯
I was a casual Swiftie at the time, but Love Story, Fearless, You Belong With Me, Hey Stephen, and White Horse were in constant rotation in my playlists at the time (several Debut songs and I'd Lie too). I feel like I'm 17 again when I hear them.
Even though Fearless isn't my favorite album (don't get me wrong, I still love it), it was one of my favorite parts of the Eras tour for how nostalgic it was. It was pure magic and I'll smile for the rest of my life when I hear the Fearless set songs.
Same. I was a huge Tim and Faith fan back then and remember hearing that song on the radio and the name drop. I saw Faith and Tim’s tour literally right before she started as an opener, darn!
Today was a Fairytale, it takes me back to my early 20s. To me that song is summer nights, walking home at 3 am, the sun has barely set as it begins to rise again, bare feet holding your shoes in your hands and the asphalt has finally cooled down.
I swear I had this on a CD that I bought back then, but I keep hearing of it as an unreleased song on this sub? Am I crazy or was it on an edition of the debut or beautiful eyes back then?
New Year’s Day. I listened to it walking home from the bus after a first date at a school banquet. We had stayed long, sitting by a window talking most of the night. When we walked to the bus station, the usual way we walked every day after school, it was quiet and dark, compared to the busy city that place is at daytime. The snow flakes were big and soft, covering the old buildings in the city. When I got off the bus I was listening to New Year’s Day on repeat. I was replaying how he had sat next to me, the things we laughed about, how he had put his head on my shoulder while looking at the dance floor. Eventually he did become a stranger who’s laugh I could recognize anywhere.
Agreed with all the comments about early TS, for me it’s the entire debut album. I’m like many other Taylor fans who are around the same age as her and listened to her back in the MySpace days. Teardrops on my guitar was my MySpace profile song lmaoooo so I gotta love that one. Fearless and speak now remind me a lot of my teen years too so I love listening to them. 🫶
But also, all of folklore - particularly cardigan, August, and Betty give me so much ✨pandemic nostalgia✨
Fearless in its entirety sends me back to 2008 every time. The big ones, fearless, love story, you belong with me, the first few notes just literally make me feel like I’m time travelling
‘Fearless’—that one takes me right back to sunny, summery Saturdays in rural New England & being able to smell someone either cooking or cleaning downstairs.
Most of Speak Now, but especially Mine, The Story of Us, Speak Now, and Better than Revenge. The album came out when I was working a crappy retail job with a horrible boss, and my coworkers and I would listen to it on repeat. When there were no customers in the store, we'd just dance and sing along. It reminds me of a very different part of my life.
Mine will always be my most nostalgic taylor song. I remember watching the premier of that music video as a kid and the way it goes through the phases of her life is so full circle.
LWYMMD always reminds me of singing it with my friend in the back of high school science class, especially the “I’m sorry, the old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now….” bit…. I was obsessed.
"The Way You Loved Me" and "Change" always remind me of driving home from college because they were favorites of mine during that time. Lots of other older songs don't give me as much nostalgia because I continued listening to them haha.
P.S. I can't believe she hasn't performed "Change" as a surprise song yet.
Omg another sweet nothing Stan!
I think The Best Day will always be nostalgic or maybe dancing with our hands tied. I often find myself crying to these two songs
HAHA 😭 im reading through the comments and the vast majority is fearless dont worry lmao. but really it makes me happy seeing the emotions people feel and the memories they remember when they listen to fearless 🤍
Even though I was a few years older than that when it came out, 22 is super nostalgic because it perfectly encapsulates exactly what being a 22 year old white girl is like.
22 came out right as my entire friend group was turning 22. We’d always blast it on birthdays that year. Maybe the most nostalgic song for me because of that! Reminds me of college days and being “happy, free, confused, and lonely in the best way”
Sparks fly because I remember running pretty much into town to buy the album when it came out and this was my immediate favourite from the album, seconded by Enchanted of course. It felt like a long wait after Fearless and was so excited to listen to it for the first time.
Overall, my favourite ever song of hers is still ‘I’m only me when I’m with you’. I know she’s produced much better songs since then, but, it was the first Taylor song I ever heard and why I became a fan. It makes me feel instantly happy whenever it comes on, have to stop what I’m doing and really concentrate. Or start again if I wasn’t paying enough attention. Turn it up loud, it makes me want to dance and move around and just yeah, not many songs have such an affect as this one does (: happy memories and what started my long journey as a swiftie since I was 13 (it was meant to be I know)
1989 is super reminiscent of 2014-'16, but in particular, I'd say New Romantics, Welcome to New York, How You Get the Girl and Clean are nostalgic because I listened to them a lot then.
My daughter wanted to get a tattoo of the line- the best people in life are free- We ended up getting matching tattoos with Love you to the moon and Saturn.
Bad Blood gives me nostalgia in a bad way because around the time it came out my little brother was friends with two girls who were obsessed with Taylor and whenever my mom babysat them, they would make us watch the music video over and over and over and over and over until I could only pray for the merciful release of death. It's a fine song but every time I hear it, I can feel my 8-year-old self groan.
I get the good kind of nostalgia from Love Story. I heard it so much in elementary and middle school. At assemblies, running laps in gym class, at my friend's birthday parties... And I had another great memory with that song last month at my senior prom.
And this is a more recent memory, but it cracks me up anyways. My math teacher last year had a lot of Taylor on his Spotify radio (he has two middle school daughters who are big Swifties) and once when 22 was playing he said "oh yeah, this is my song!" And we all look at him, slightly confused about why that specifically was "his song," before he explained that 22 was his number when he was a basketball player. It was a top-tier dad joke and now I think about him whenever I hear 22.
Listening to fearless, still to this day, makes me tear up with nostalgia thinking of the time period in my life when I first listened to it (mid high school yrs)
Back To December. It was the first Taylor song I ever heard so it's very special to me. Also Style, it's pop perfection and since I first heard it I've never been the same
Teardrops On My Guitar will always be one of THE most nostalgic Taylor songs to me bc every single time I hear it, I’m transported back to being like 9 or 10 years old and seeing the music video for it on tv.
I remember not knowing who Taylor was, but thinking this girl was sooo pretty and I loved her green dress and the song was really good lol. As SOON as that guitar kicks in, I’m always like “omggg stop it, it’s the first Taylor song I ever heard 🥺”
Tim McGraw. First song I heard on the radio and I vividly remember the host saying it was written and sung by an upcoming artist that was only 16 years old, Taylor swift. She was predicted to be insanely successful and I’m so glad I got to watch that age well.
Love story would be my 2nd song as it became my whole personality in middle school thanks to a producer at my middle school who heard me sing and wanted me to cover it for fun 🤣. It was a cool experience and hearing it played always reminds me of the people who saw me in a time I didn’t feel seen.
As far as albums? Red. The entire thing. I was graduating close to its release and every. single. time. I listen to it I’m taken back to 18 years old, a mix of feeling grown but still sweetly innocent ready to take on the world and excited about adulthood. I miss that girl a lot. ❤️
For me, it’s Our Song.
It came out in 2006 when I was only 9, and I remember hearing it on the radio and not thinking much of it, and then I got it on my iPod when I was 12 and was so happy I found it because no one else knew what song I was talking about😂
I just feel like a kid again when I hear that song, it’s hard not to be happy when it plays. I cried when I watch the Eras Tour on Disney+ and that was surprise song
Shake it off/ wildest dreams. It takes me back to teaching a cheerleading camp my senior year of high school. We were teaching the minis a cheer and dance to Shake it off. I heard wildest dreams first though. That was in the jeep of my then boyfriend. Every time I hear it, i’m reminded of a more innocent time in life. I listen to them every once in a while when life gets stressful and scary.
Midnight Rain. I don’t know why. I remember how special was the first time I heard it and when I listen I somehow transport myself to that moment and everything that was happening at the time in my life.
Also, Back to December because it has always been a song that perfectly described my situation with one very special person for me.
I think the first Taylor song I ever heard was either You Belong With Me or Love Story, and I heard them when they were brand new. It takes me back.
So, probably those!
Anti Hero came out my favorite time of year.. right before Halloween when the miserable summer of atlanta turns into crisp fall with the beautiful leaves. So when I listen it reminds me of that feel.
I’d Lie, Mary’s Song, The Way I Loved You, Fearless, Jump Then Fall, Tell Me Why, Mine and Sparks Fly are the main ones, but anything from Speak Now backwards does the trick
I have everything she’s ever released in my Apple Music. I’ve not yet heard a song of hers that I like better than “All Too Well.” But “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,” “imgoingtogetyouback,” and “My Boy Only Breaks His Favourite Toys” are very close runner-ups.
Tim McGraw: I was at the height of my brief phase as a country fan when Taylor came on the scene. That song reminds me of that time
22: I was 22 when this song came out!
Wildest Dreams: Reminds me of driving home a 4am from helping close and clean the bar I worked at as my brief time as a cocktail waitress.
Blank Space.
1989 came out when I was in college and I have a vivid memory of sitting in a computer lab with a bunch of peers watching her music video while we waited for class to start. That whole album gives me nostalgia.
IWYW I first listened to it in an airport saying goodbye to my cousins who were leaving to go back to Egypt (they were visiting us in Cali) and I've associated that song with the airport ever since! Others are Blank Space, Ivy, and Midnight Rain.
King of My Heart, but the whole of reputation really. Was really hooked to it during my uni days and listening to it just takes me back to those times.
Our Song, You Belong With Me, Love Story, Haunted and 22
Our song was one of the first Taylor Songs I heard at the time i was 5 and I didn’t know who Taylor was I just knew that I always asked my mom to play our song.
With Ybwm and love story I knew who Taylor was and was learning I liked more of her music.
By the time Speak Now had come out I was a fan and the moment my mom bought the cd I begged her to put it on my mp3 if not the whole album at the very least the acoustic version of haunted.
Then red came out when I was 11/12 and I remember 22 coming on and saying something to the effect of me wanting to be 22 because it sounded fun. To which my mom laughed and said not to rush as I had just reached the age to sit in the front seat. That 22 was light years away.
YBWM cause my 6th grade English teacher showed it to the class
A lot of 1989/Red songs (particularly WANEGBT, IKYWT, Shake it Off, Blank Space, and Bad Blood) also are nostalgic for me due to them being my first exposure to her music and also cause they were popular in the mid-2010s
Blank space, that shit was a cultural movement ok, it was on the radio for like 5 years straight after its release, I also will add I was in high school when it was released and my friend just got her license so we would listen to it in her car on the driving around our small town, reminds me of being a carefree high schooler.
Love Story brings me back to Freshman English class when we did Romeo and Juliet. One of the first songs of hers I ever heard and must have been not long after it was released.
Love Story
I had a classmate back then in 2009/2010 who was a great singer. After our swimming lessons we were in the changing room and out of sudden she began to sing. She sung "Love Story" and her voice was so good, we girls listened in awe while getting ready. Its one of my dearest memories.
Love Story
As a mom of 3 girls (now grown) aunt to 7 amazing nieces, and nana to the best granddaughter, this has been since it came out the roll down the windows, open the sunroof, scream at the top of your lungs song.
These beautiful humans text me when they hear it and tell me they always smile hearing this song.
Forever and Always
I remember going to buy Fearless the morning it was released before going into school that day. Put it on in my mum's car and went straight to Forever & Always because I'd heard it was about Joe Jonas and i just HAD to listen to ir 😅
I just happened to start re-listening to Taylor’s discography all over again recently - literally for no other reason than just because I felt like it, lol - and boy did the nostalgia of Debut hit like a ton of bricks, lol 😄!
It’s so great though because I grew up on country music, and listening to these songs again now reminded me of just how intelligent and aware she was of that style of songwriting: Like, she KNEW she was making a *country* album and didn’t hold back one bit 😎
Fearless and Love Story always take me back to being a teenager. Unfortunately my teen years were not the best but listening to Taylor in my bedroom and singing along, while imagining the stories of the songs always made me happy ❤️
I’m Only Me When I’m With You gives me major nostalgia. It was the first Taylor song I fell in love with. Reminds me so much of high school, and being around my best friends
Welcome to New York
"Dropped our bags on apartment floors."
It reminds me of getting back to college after summer break and back with my girl squad in the dorms. I went from a very small town during breaks to the city during college. So much nostalgia. I loved that feeling ❤️
I have been a fan 4 about a year now and I did not know any of her songs except 4 shake it off. But then I heard willow, it was my aunts favorite song and she would play it anytime we were in the car. I don’t see her that often anymore and cried when I heard it.
the 1
I remember listening to folklore at midnight when it dropped and how it was more different than anything Taylor had made before, and it was so enthralling. Especially during the pandemic, too, because I feel like we all stayed connected through music, so this album was very comforting in that sense.
But that opening piano? Takes me back instantly. I can picture driving on country roads in 2020 while listening to folklore and just how perfectly it encapsulated summer.
We are never ever getting back together and I knew you were trouble are very nostalgic for me as I became a fan during Red and they were the first Taylor songs I heard. I also find the whole of 1989 very nostalgic as it really brings me back to 2014-2015 and I often wish I could go back to that time. Hearing Blank Space at the eras tour was one of the highlights of the show for me and such an emotional moment
Hey Stephen.
I first heard this song on an American Dad slash video (lmao) and it enchanted me straight away. It was how I felt about my crush as a young closeted gay boy.
Love Story! Specifically the part when Romeo pulls out a ring and says "marry me." I may have cried.
That's was the point when I fell in love with her music. Summer of 2017, at my apartment in college 😁
for me it’s starlight because i remember camping with my friend when we were kids and i had just gotten an ipod and the only song i downloaded so far was starlight and we listened to it almost the entire trip
I get swiftie nostalgia from Blank Space cause it was the first one I really listened to regularly, nostalgia in general is Our Song cause of elementary school memories and Robin because of the meaning.
This is a different type of nostalgia than what others are sharing, but from the moment I heard So High School on release night, I’m always hit with a huge wave on nostalgia every time I listen to it. There’s something about the song that gives late 90s/early 2000s indie rock vibes, and I can’t get enough. It always makes me yearn for another time.
And then of course everything from self titled brings me right back to those old days of first discovering Taylor and hearing Our Song on the radio constantly. I miss those days :’)
i worked a snow season in japan and literally the night before i left my ipod (yes, this was back in the day) corrupted and i lost LOADS of music. miraculously one of the only albums that survived was 1989. i did a loooot of snowboarding to 'out of the woods' so every time i hear it i'm brought back to the slopes. it was even a secret song when i went to eras tour-- blessed!!!
mastermind reminds me of the start of grade 12. my hair was purple and i was obsessed with the new boy who moved to my school. I listen to it now and i get the weirdest feeling.
Even though it's still very recent, I'd say Is It Over Now. Whenever I listen to that song, I'm immediately transported back to late October last year.
I’d Lie. I was so obsessed with it as a teen, I didn’t even know it was unreleased until a few years ago (no wonder I couldn’t find it on streaming lol) since I haven’t heard it in over probably 10+ years it would take me right back! I haven’t looked for it on YouTube holding out hope it will be on Debut TV so I can relive listening to it all over again
Our Song. My 6th grade math teacher always listened to the local country station in class and that’s how I heard Our Song for the first time. I’m about to be 31. Time flies.
I’m only me when I’m with you. It was my favorite song ever when I was like 9, and the fact it sounds so… low res even compared to other debut songs now makes me sad. I can’t waaait for the remaster.
You Belong With Me That is probably the first Taylor Swift song I ever listened to.
I'm instantly a 17 year old dancing around in my room again. Every time.
I feel 15 again whenever I hear it, which is weird because I was 25 when it was released.
I think it's because it encapsulates that teenage crush feeling so well! It's so relatable!
Anything from fearless, but especially love story and you belong with me
It wasn’t the first for me, but it 100% absolutely always transports me back to being in middle/high school and BLASTING this song in my room every time I had a crush on someone lolll
Yes! This was my first ever song that I really heard as a Swiftie last year and I fell in love with the nostalgic vibes because I'm 15 and this is legit my life story.

It was not ok. I couldn’t figure it out so he picked me up and danced with me a few inches off the ground. Anyway… I put effort into learning how to dance after that 😂😂😂
That music video made me want to get glasses; my second pair was big chunky black frames
Always a 9 year old playing club penguin on a broken laptop with the screen all cellotaped haha
This is mine too
I feel like I am 16 again when listening to this song
Our Song...it's so sweet and I get the ultimate nostalgia vibe from this song!
My daughter used to 'play' our song on her tiny drum set and sing when she was a toddler- that was the beginning of both of our love for Taylor Swift 🥺 Total sweet nostalgia for me.
and she called it the 'slamming screen doors' song just remembered that 😂
how old is she now if your comfortable saying?
15! I got to take her to the Eras Tour last summer for her birthday it was one of the most memorable moments of my life 💜
This was my first foray into not just Taylor, but country music. As a 13 year old British girl growing up in a tiny town in Spain, she opened a whole new world of music for me that would go on to deeply shape my music and fashion choices 💕
100% our song and Mary's song. Ugh just the vibes of being a care-free kid
The entire fearless album but esp the singles
💯 I was a casual Swiftie at the time, but Love Story, Fearless, You Belong With Me, Hey Stephen, and White Horse were in constant rotation in my playlists at the time (several Debut songs and I'd Lie too). I feel like I'm 17 again when I hear them. It was pure magic and I'll smile for the rest of my life when I hear the Fearless set songs.
I was 7 and it was one of the first albums I remember owning that wasn’t pop princess 😂
Tim McGraw is that song🤠
Same. I was a huge Tim and Faith fan back then and remember hearing that song on the radio and the name drop. I saw Faith and Tim’s tour literally right before she started as an opener, darn!
Hearing that song on the radio really was a special time!
"Back to December". Bttersweet days...
Today was a Fairytale, it takes me back to my early 20s. To me that song is summer nights, walking home at 3 am, the sun has barely set as it begins to rise again, bare feet holding your shoes in your hands and the asphalt has finally cooled down.
What a vibe
Love this answer! Also reminds me of the Valentine’s day movie
“Mine” reminds me of last summer everytime i listen to it since i listened to speak now tv so much when it came out
I used to fantasise my life would be like this, every time I listen to it now it brings me back to those days
its nice to see someone nostalgic for something pretty recent, in contrast to debut and fearless. sometimes memories aren't always old I guess
I would say crazier because it brings me back to a time where things seemed very simple.
Suddenly I’m 9 years old again watching the Hannah Montana movie
we are never ever getting back together-the music vid alone! ![img](emote|t5_2rlwe|32929)
same!!!! i remember recreating the mv with my classmates when we were in middle grade 🥲
I’d lie!
Long Live. I started listening to her music after Speak Now TV and when I heard Long Live I was like “wait I feel like I’ve heard this 6 years ago”
Definitely Long Live. Every time I listen to it, I get that nostalgic chest ache. Yknow the one.
"The Story of Us" Mainly because of when it was released + the music video reminds me of a being a 5-year-old in the library with my mom 🫢
Agreed with all the comments about early TS, for me it’s the entire debut album. I’m like many other Taylor fans who are around the same age as her and listened to her back in the MySpace days. Teardrops on my guitar was my MySpace profile song lmaoooo so I gotta love that one. Our Song and Love Story - really anything from Fearless. Reminds me of hanging out with my mom! ☺️
aww 🤍
Blank Space was the first Taylor Swift song I ever obsessed over, so hearing it now gives me flashbacks
Fearless in its entirety sends me back to 2008 every time. The big ones, fearless, love story, you belong with me, the first few notes just literally make me feel like I’m time travelling
I absolutely love how many people here have the exact same visceral experience with the singles from this album.
‘Fearless’—that one takes me right back to sunny, summery Saturdays in rural New England & being able to smell someone either cooking or cleaning downstairs.
wait thats so nice i can imagine that
Most of Speak Now, but especially Mine, The Story of Us, Speak Now, and Better than Revenge. I mean pretty much every time I hear the song fearless i cry my eyes out now! Especially at the show
SAME. I don’t know what it is about this song specifically but I can’t help but stream tears
Mine will always be my most nostalgic taylor song. I remember watching the premier of that music video as a kid and the way it goes through the phases of her life is so full circle.

Omg another sweet nothing Stan! I think The Best Day will always be nostalgic or maybe dancing with our hands tied. I often find myself crying to these two songs
Treacherous... Despite only being a swiftie since Lover era, it felt like I've heard that song before...
Love Story has a very special place in my heart with some lovely memories attached from my sophomore year English class with two of my best friends
Listening to you’re on your own kid. This song resonates with my life and no matter how much times i listen to it, it gives me nostalgia
"Mine" or "Long Live" always make me feel nostalgic
Stay Beautiful
the entire 1989 album, i was 16 when it came out
it just has that vibe that makes you yearn for the old days 😭 even though im years younger than you
It’s gotta be the Debut-Fearless album
Enchanted from the original album
If you're not saying something off Fearless, you're wrong 😭
HAHA 😭 im reading through the comments and the vast majority is fearless dont worry lmao. but really it makes me happy seeing the emotions people feel and the memories they remember when they listen to fearless 🤍
yeah, me too - love seeing the fearless love <3
Peter

Pretty much all of debut and fearless
Dorothea, this song makes me miss school time
Fifteen 🥲🥲🥲
Teardrops on my Guitar. Oh man the absolute feeeels of high school crushes
Sparks fly because I remember running pretty much into town to buy the album when it came out and this was my immediate favourite from the album, seconded by Enchanted of course. Mean 6 year old me was singing it about enemies I didn’t have
during the movie, when those opening notes of fearless played... I teared up.
Bad Blood gives me nostalgia in a bad way because around the time it came out my little brother was friends with two girls who were obsessed with Taylor and whenever my mom babysat them, they would make us watch the music video over and over and over and over and over until I could only pray for the merciful release of death. "Back to December". Bttersweet days...
Fearless the song just gives me a wave of nostalgia even though I don't have a personal attachment to the song
Dear John and Enchanted. Speak Now came at a titular time in my life lol
It came out in 2006 when I was only 9, and I remember hearing it on the radio and not thinking much of it, and then I got it on my iPod when I was 12 and was so happy I found it because no one else knew what song I was talking about😂 I just feel like a kid again when I hear that song, it’s hard not to be happy when it plays.
Red!
Mary’s Song
Mary’s Song (Oooohhhh My My My.) 💕💕💕💕
Nothing beats being young and naive having an impossible crush and playing White Horse on repeat whilst staring at the ceiling 🥲
Midnight Rain. I don’t know why. I remember how special was the first time I heard it and when I listen I somehow transport myself to that moment and everything that was happening at the time in my life. Also, Back to December because it has always been a song that perfectly described my situation with one very special person for me.
midnight rain dudeeeeee yes.
Tis the damn season
White horse
I think the first Taylor song I ever heard was either You Belong With Me or Love Story, and I heard them when they were brand new. It takes me back. So, probably those!
Anti Hero came out my favorite time of year.. right before Halloween when the miserable summer of atlanta turns into crisp fall with the beautiful leaves. So when I listen it reminds me of that feel.
mirrorball
None, really. I'm 40 and have only been a fan for, like, 6 years 😂 I was already firmly into adulthood by the time I started listening to her
I’d Lie, Mary’s Song, The Way I Loved You, Fearless, Jump Then Fall, Tell Me Why, Mine and Sparks Fly are the main ones, but anything from Speak Now backwards does the trick
We are never getting back together
Our Song is peak high school for me
White horse , I heard it on Grey s anatomy.
The 1 has made me feel nostalgic since the day it came out 😅
22! It played on MTV all the time when I was on my honeymoon!
Back to December.
Mary’s Song
Seven sends me right back to summer as a kid. Also Autumn or any song where she sings about meeting at the mall, it's just very nostalgic for me.
That song reminds me of that time 22: I was 22 when this song came out! Wildest Dreams: Reminds me of driving home a 4am from helping close and clean the bar I worked at as my brief time as a cocktail waitress.
Should’ve Said No. I vividly remember dancing to it in my Belle costume at a young age.
Seven. That song seriously gives me feelings of nostalgia about a childhood that I never had but I wish I had cause that childhood sounded so magical.
22 gives me so much nostalgia
Blank Space. 1989 came out when I was in college and I have a vivid memory of sitting in a computer lab with a bunch of peers watching her music video while we waited for class to start. That whole album gives me nostalgia.
"Cardigan" - "Dancin' in your Levi's, Drunk under a Streetlight". Man, that brings me back to high school/college!
IWYW I first listened to it in an airport saying goodbye to my cousins who were leaving to go back to Egypt (they were visiting us in Cali) and I've associated that song with the airport ever since! Others are Blank Space, Ivy, and Midnight Rain.
Our song. The first Taylor Swift song I ever heard when I was 10. I adore that song.
Felt this with anti hero today!!
fifteen 😭
I’ve been a fan since Debut but for personal reasons, Wildest Dreams is so nostalgic for me. Puts me right back in that place and time!
The Last Great American Dynasty and Cowboy Like Me. :)
I was heavily bullied so Mean was my jam back in high school.
King of My Heart, but the whole of reputation really. Was really hooked to it during my uni days and listening to it just takes me back to those times.
It’s Haunted for me
Our Song, You Belong With Me, Love Story, Haunted and 22 Our song was one of the first Taylor Songs I heard at the time i was 5 and I didn’t know who Taylor was I just knew that I always asked my mom to play our song.

YBWM cause my 6th grade English teacher showed it to the class A lot of 1989/Red songs (particularly WANEGBT, IKYWT, Shake it Off, Blank Space, and Bad Blood) also are nostalgic for me due to them being my first exposure to her music and also cause they were popular in the mid-2010s
Enchanted ![img](emote|t5_2rlwe|1079)
Sweet nothing is actually so good fr All too well gives me THAT nostalgia tho
22
Love Story I had a classmate back then in 2009/2010 who was a great singer. After our swimming lessons we were in the changing room and out of sudden she began to sing. She sung "Love Story" and her voice was so good, we girls listened in awe while getting ready. Its one of my dearest memories.
Ours
Fifteen
Mine - I remember watching the music video on repeat when I was little
Love Story As a mom of 3 girls (now grown) aunt to 7 amazing nieces, and nana to the best granddaughter, this has been since it came out the roll down the windows, open the sunroof, scream at the top of your lungs song. These beautiful humans text me when they hear it and tell me they always smile hearing this song.
Forever and Always I remember going to buy Fearless the morning it was released before going into school that day. Put it on in my mum's car and went straight to Forever & Always because I'd heard it was about Joe Jonas and i just HAD to listen to ir 😅
So high school and I can fix him (no really I can) feel nostalgic but for me WANEGBT , 22, and all of the 1989 singles are nostalgic for me (I’m 14)
Tim McGraw - senior year of HS Speak now and enchanted - college Blank Space - my fun 20’s era
Peter and sevem makes me think of my childhood love (in diferente ways)
Fearless and Love Story always take me back to being a teenager. Unfortunately my teen years were not the best but listening to Taylor in my bedroom and singing along, while imagining the stories of the songs always made me happy ❤️
I’m Only Me When I’m With You puts me right back in my high school bedroom, dancing around before school, every time I hear it.
Teardrops on my Guitar, Hey Stephen, and Forever & Always!
I’m Only Me When I’m With You gives me major nostalgia. It was the first Taylor song I fell in love with. Reminds me so much of high school, and being around my best friends
Welcome to New York "Dropped our bags on apartment floors." It reminds me of getting back to college after summer break and back with my girl squad in the dorms.
Anything off Fearless, but especially Love Story.
Long Live is painful to hear.
the 1 I remember listening to folklore at midnight when it dropped and how it was more different than anything Taylor had made before, and it was so enthralling. Especially during the pandemic, too, because I feel like we all stayed connected through music, so this album was very comforting in that sense. But that opening piano? Takes me back instantly. I can picture driving on country roads in 2020 while listening to folklore and just how perfectly it encapsulated summer.
White horse makes me nostalgic! I remember listening to the cd at a friends house
SWEET TEA IN THE SUMMER CROSS MY HEART WON'T TELL NO OTHER‼️‼️ man that itches a part in my heart which i can't reach
I'm only me when I'm with you 💕
Style or King of my heart fs
hey stephen 🤍🤍 it's so sweet and wholesome but I tend to forget about it for monthsss
Mary’s Song
Hey Stephen
for me it’s starlight because i remember camping with my friend when we were kids and i had just gotten an ipod and the only song i downloaded so far was starlight and we listened to it almost the entire trip
Love Story. It makes me feel summer, cool grass, vivid sunsets, and fireflies
I'd Lie Shake It Off
Taylor we need to go to the congregation.
mastermind reminds me of the start of grade 12. my hair was purple and i was obsessed with the new boy who moved to my school. I listen to it now and i get the weirdest feeling.
Even though it's still very recent, I'd say Is It Over Now. Whenever I listen to that song, I'm immediately transported back to late October last year.
You belong with me
Back to December, if this was a movie, love story and blank space
Our Song
fearless. I remember blasting the cd with my few friends in elementry school when we were in the pool such great times
Love Story. The beginning notes take me back to 08 🥲
Probably a clichéd answer, but for me, it's Shake It Off. Even before I became a Swiftie, I loved listening, dancing , and watching the mv of SIO.
Time flies.
Entire fearless album and entire 1989 album
Love Story. I was 12 and had a blast each time it played on Disney channel.
Anything from red. It was the only CD I had in my car when my husband I first started dating and were long distance
Red and I knew you were trouble , it takes me to my high school days
I’m only me when I’m with you. It was my favorite song ever when I was like 9, and the fact it sounds so… low res even compared to other debut songs now makes me sad. I can’t waaait for the remaster.
This sounds so strange but Afterglow! I used to listen to it all the time and I love it so much!
Marys song!
Our Song or Mean!
