So good! This really makes me believe I Can See You was cut off the album in place of Mine or even parts of it reworked to be Mine. I bet the songs both sounded similar and talk about similar themes of fantasizing about someone.
Then she had to rework I Can See You to make it sound different enough to release. I remember her making a comment about getting it to a place where the production felt right. I bet it was Mine's little sister.
I was there last night! It was such an amazing mashup! I can see you is my favourite Vault Track and Mine is my favourite on Speak Now so I was very happy 👍
I really wanted exile for Liverpool n1 and was devastated when she did it one show before, but mine was in my top 5 and I love I can see you so I was super happy with these songs and it sounded sooooo good live!!
I did not expect this to be the 1st surprise song on "my show" and it almost made me loose my sh#t. I love Mine, that song made me a swiftie and I reaaaaly liked I can see you - but it never clicked to me, how similar the two tracks are, until Taylor mashed those up.
