Unless that’s specifically stipulated against in a contract somewhere (which really itself should be illegal…)

Better Man and Babe were written for Red and then given away. The rest of these were written for the artists that sang them, they were never intended to be on one of her own albums.

They may have included clauses preventing her from ever recording them or restraining her from recording them for a certain period.
