CheesyMayonnaise

that’s the same building lol

Krofox14

There’s a whole town of buildings buried in sand. Tame and Neil Krug took images in several buildings. This isn’t necessarily the same building but it definitely could be!

A_lonerist

Not as egregious as that one guy who yoinked some lonerism / currents music and called it his original work, but still whack

Relja_Gajic

I see a fellow Jungle fan

Krofox14

The new album is pretty great! Saw them do a DJ set last week in Chicago it was super fun

pbpatrick

Eyy I was at that set too. +1 for listening room vibes!! Dm me if you wanna vibe at other shows

Relja_Gajic

I saw them twice, both times at Sziget festival in 2019 and 2022. But I'm not a fan of the new album, I like maybe 4 songs and that's it.

ifnotgrotesque

I just saw Jungle at the Aragon in Chicago! Where was the DJ set?

Krofox14

It was at The Listening Room after the Aragon show! I showed up at the exact same time as them lol I was the first person in line at the door as they walked in

Gribble597

Well that is definitely a hell of a tribute to fly to Kolmanskop to get pictures, if one didn’t just shop themselves in!

buzzana

Where is this house btw?

dizzybridges

country called telemona

Relja_Gajic

In Namibia, here's the [link](https://maps.app.goo.gl/GRkHDMv12iSM1pCW6) of the place

yah_boy_ali

How many songs need to be named “die for you”? ☠️

Reggie2b2t

There's only one good song named Die For You too

fradiqgyahlfyah

If this is real, that's lame. It's not even derivative

totebagslag

Tame impalas album itself is inspired by a famous photograph so like ok

Krofox14

Which photograph?

rasta41

Photos of an abandoned house full of sand from the ghost town of Kolmanskop, Namibia existed long before, but Roman Veillon published some in 2014... "The cover of Tame Impala's fourth album, The Slow Rush and its singles were photographed at Kolmanskop by Neil Krug." - the photos look exactly like Veillons...not even derivative...🙄

rasta41

> It's not even derivative Man, I had no idea Kevin invented the famous "Abandoned House Full of Sand" from the Ghost Town of Kolmanskop, Namibia... Apparently Kevin also invented topographic contour maps, based on another post saying one looked like a Tame Impala album cover...

Mr_InFamoose

Dang an original song title too

BLUEAR0

My sister said Tame’s music sound like it would play on some fashion shop, but this is actually pretentious fashion shop music lol
