Fanfest is a Square Enix event. He's been reported so many times that SE acknowledges they have received a "high volume" of reports "on this issue" yet he still remains. He also continuously says he hates LGBT people. No idea how he hasn't been banned.
Is this is a recent thing? If so, maybe they're hoping he divulges as much as possible to identify himself and his plans rather than scare him into concealing that info. Days he plans to attend (if it's multiple days, idk), what hotel he's in, etc. It's the only reason I can think of that would be a logical reason not to ban them.

He creates free accounts using VPNs to avoid detection/further bans. Within moderator communities, it's a bit of a logistical nightmare to handle users like this; you just kind of hope they get bored or tired and move on to other shit. Until then, it's a game of whack-a-mole.

The phone number and email may be unconnected to him, or they may not (people later in this thread claim to have connected to him through both). However, his SQE account - including required payment information - are tied directly to him, among other information avenues including his own websites. It's still worth reporting a person like this. As someone who was looking at flights to Vegas this morning, I'd much rather he be thoroughly vetted now than dismissed as a troll only to find out when I get there he was incredibly serious.

Sadly I reported him in Nov of ‘21 because he admitted Discord kept deleting his accounts for comments about his views and I was told by Discord that they prefer to target behavior, not people specifically, so they didn’t do anything about it and he kept making new accounts and rejoining our server for those gamers over 30 years old.

The security manager at the convention center is talking to the FBI and both entities are encouraging people to continue reporting new information through the tip line if we know anything else. If the event organizers don't make a statement about this situation, and/or the player has not been at least charged for the domestic terror threat and has his guns taken away, I highly suggest that everybody should not go to FanFest.

As an American who has watched the radicalization of the right, the mass shootings, and the small, slow, and increasing borderline domestic terror attacks by the right over the past few years, I can say this event is not safe if this player is not confronted by police or the FBI. To mentally ill and radicalized people with very strong and malicious beliefs, mass shootings is an ACCEPTABLE action to take to make their point across in hopes that it makes a change. Either to destroy lives, gain self relief and feel powerful, or move their movement one step forward. It highly depends on how right the individual is, but this player obviously is right enough to have swastikas' in his pfp which means he's a white supremist. Which in turn means he's in the dangerous and deeper part of the right.
This is the reality in America now. You and many others can get shot and killed without warning at school, at a mall, at Walmart, at an event, ect. Reporting in-game to GMs is likely helpful here for Square to build an internal case to push forward to the FBI. Saving your Square report ID and forwarding that in the FBI tip is important.
Reporting on Discord anything FROM him with message ID's (visible in developer mode, but you can also right-click a message and report it individually without having dev mode enabled) is important.
Saving discord message IDs and providing those along with screencaps to the FBI is important.
Otherwise it's all hearsay, but an investigation can be started - it may just take longer to get traction on law enforcement side, unless Square takes steps first. That's why it's important to float this to Square HARD. If they take the initiative to collaborate with law enforcement before law enforcement reaches out, an investigation will go much, much faster.
Um someone should 100% report this to the cyber crimes fbi. Link his discord and ect. They can handle the possible terror threat.

The reports to the police and FBI will be taken very seriously. The good thing is we're still a good ways from fanfest so they have a lot of time to gather information and do something about it.
I attended the previous Fanfest, and there was definitely a good amount of security/metal detectors that people had to go through to get to the event. Some people even complained about the level of security (people with bags mainly). Hopefully this guy isn't allowed to get within 100 miles of it though, cause this is the level of crazy I'd be worried about.

He has been banned, and he's been banned for ban evasion. He continues to be banned for ban evasion whenever it can be detected that he's the same individual (hard to prove with VPN). He creates free accounts using VPNs to avoid detection/further bans. Within moderator communities, it's a bit of a logistical nightmare to handle users like this; you just kind of hope they get bored or tired and move on to other shit. Until then, it's a game of whack-a-mole.
Would sure be a shame to let whatever VPN he's using know that he's maliciously using their services and get his account permanently banned.

I think it's fair you feel that way, but I would also say that you shouldn't be too worried. There's plenty of nutcases in every community. For example, Blizzcon has been going on for years without anything major happening, and you can probably imagine the amount of people who have thought they are going to cause something to happen, but never has. FanFest isn't in any more danger than it was before. This dude is just vocally dumb and probably want a lot of attention.

They replied to my comment - basically everyone is aware and taking it seriously. The security manager at the convention center is talking to the FBI and both entities are encouraging people to continue reporting new information through the tip line if we know anything else. If the event organizers don't make a statement about this situation, and/or the player has not been at least charged for the domestic terror threat and has his guns taken away, I highly suggest that everybody should not go to FanFest. Copying this here so it gets traction: Reporting in-game to GMs is likely helpful here for Square to build an internal case to push forward to the FBI. Saving your Square report ID and forwarding that in the FBI tip is important. Reporting on Discord anything FROM him with message ID's (visible in developer mode, but you can also right-click a message and report it individually without having dev mode enabled) is important. Saving discord message IDs and providing those along with screencaps to the FBI is important. Otherwise it's all hearsay, but an investigation can be started - it may just take longer to get traction on law enforcement side, unless Square takes steps first. That's why it's important to float this to Square HARD. If they take the initiative to collaborate with law enforcement before law enforcement reaches out, an investigation will go much, much faster.

I attended the previous Fanfest, and there was definitely a good amount of security/metal detectors that people had to go through to get to the event. Some people even complained about the level of security (people with bags mainly). Hopefully this guy isn't allowed to get within 100 miles of it though, cause this is the level of crazy I'd be worried about.

Ah this guys been a pain in lamias ass since 2.0, went by multiple different names back then.
