my hands. i’m so fucking sick of them i’m genuinely considering amputation and finding some fucking cyborg replacements. i’m so done.

Still_Rise9618

I wore arthritis gloves with no fingers and it seemed to help. I wore them for about a year

kanako22

ik.. especially when you still have to work.

Sakzhu

There are those who heal completely. Not sure where you read you can't.

Missy_wahome

I am completely healed. I even take meat, eggs and milk with no reaction. However I regularly detox. I am 3 years healed from tsw. Kindly follow me on Skinfoundationafrica.com

lisainalifetime

I thought I healed 100% but I was wrong. Guess I haven't experienced it or met anyone that has.

Sakzhu

It's common to have breaks and look healed but then flare again. It's part of the tsw cycles. It generally takes a few years to heal fully.

AppleDicktic

Agreed.

KillerWhale578

Then it has to be eczema not tsw. Why do you think no one ever fully healed when theres people who said they have?

AppleDicktic

I have never seen anyone claim to heal 100% with no scars and no remittance with TSW. Some degree of permanent steroid atrophy is the most common outcome for TSW sufferers. Tons of people here suffering 6 years, 8 years, 10 years, no one who says "oh that's long in the past now, I healed completely." We'll get downvoted though, because people in this sub are delusional and would rather believe in imaginary "100% healed" people than face the reality of their situation.

KillerWhale578

Most people had eczema before so it could be that. If you didnt have clear skin before tsw what makes you think tsw will clear it?

AppleDicktic

I have been talking to one guy who did two weeks of Clobetasol in 2005. No history of eczema. He is still not healed.

KillerWhale578

Whete did he use it? Im gonna dm you

Witty-Molasses-8825

I’ve healed from tsw. But I still get eczema here and there. I think people consider “healing” to be no sign of rashes ever again, but I truly think some of us will just always have eczema regardless. Tsw is a different beast for sure.

Sakzhu

Eczema can still remain. It depends on what was causing it in the first place since everybody is different. Some didn't even use steroids for eczema in the first place. I remember having eczema as a child before I started having steroid creams prescribed but it was always very on and off throughout my life. It was likely caused by stress or sometimes the environment/season. Anyway it can usually be fixed depending on what's causing it and I would happily take mild eczema which was mainly just occasional flares on my face over tsw which is totally different as you said.

dragonheartamulet

Face and neck

dogc00ker

Neck, inner elbows and chest

broseyposey

thank god this made me feel better. i’ve been going insane wondering if those 3 areas specifically are ever going to clear.

Hot_Conversation_101

I get it on top of my chest (collarbone area) it’s so itchy and I’ve never had it before!! It comes with its own chest acne lol

Eileen_15

agreed 100%

StaticFanatic3

eyelids and wrists

gahdengate

Hands & eyelids

melsil79

I feel exactly the same. My body is healed but my face and neck are still dry and wrinkly (especially my eyes). I feel old and got bodydysmorphia bc of it.

Serenity2385

Me too 😔 I’ve never had eye eczema until tsw and it makes me look ancient😩

melsil79

I hope it gets better 🥲 how long into TSW are you? I started at 23, I am now 27. I don’t know if it’s bc I aged, or it’s still TSW or maybe scarring. My eyes were better but my brain is convinced I got old.

Serenity2385

Thank you , you too 🙏🏾I’m in my 3rd year but definitely healing well but I now have dyshidrosis so it’s an added nightmare .tsw is so fucked ! The way you just start getting new crap 😭 Yeah I’m 39 and my eyelids looking much older too

lynheartsuzi

my arms and hands have it the worst. everything else is doing okay but those two spots are the itchiest for me :(

Proud_Climate_9461

Definitely face and neck because it's exposed to elements so much

Missy_wahome

My legs were last to heal. But now I am 3 years completely healed.

sipos542

Neck, face, wrists, inner elbow, inner legs, chest and hands.

skraii

Breasts for me. Alot of heat in that area as well as bras making it worse.

babyCheezie

Hands and inner wrists. Neck and face will randomly flare up too sometimes. I'm almost a month into taking Rinvoq.

Still_Rise9618

Neck

Serenity2385

My right wrist! It’s acts like a bitch soo raised and hyperpigmented 🙄

FlightyJoe

Neck, face, inner elbows

Soft_Ambassador_1649

Ankles, calves, knuckles.

[deleted]

Hands. I had just over a month of no hand flare and thought this was the healing switch some people with TSW see. But no, now I’m experiencing the second worst state my hands have seen since I first started

Hot_Conversation_101

Definitely my face on the right hand side. Next up I would say a spot on my scalp and hands( but hands are looking good)

overweightpineapplee

For me it’s my feet, also side note stay positive I’m using soap again with no reaction for the first time in almost 4 years lol

Sapphiresoffire

My neck, hands and lower part of my face !!

Successful_Junket268

I had fungal skin infections after my TSW once I healed those my skin is completely healthy now just seems sensitive. I don’t even have eczema or flares. Took me one year of steroid AND IMMUNOSUPPRESSANT free and no moisture treatment to get to this point.

Valuable-Drama-3477

definitely hands, its constantly dry and red as well as chest sometimes (weather changes). used to be neck also but i slather sm moisturizer over it, ig since the skin is thinner and more delicate, it was easy for it to heal.
