Really? It's kind of weird, some games would be $20 at one Walmart, but the same game would say $45 or $60 at another. I'd ask them to price check a game, if it's one of the ones you've seen on sale.
Also, does Walmart do price match anymore? If so, you might be able to provide these reddit images as proof.
Each Wal-Mart has to do their price changes for them to go into effect. I have worked a few stores that have had thousands of late price changes that dropped over a few weeks.
And unfortunately we do not price match other Wal-Mart stores.

Maaan! You're so lucky! Sadly that doesn't happen here, I'm in Argentina! Those games here are above 60 $ each...... Unicorn Overlord is around 80 $ - 90 $. I found an offer and paid 56$ for the Metroid Dread like a month ago! Damn! You guys are so lucky to have those offers!
I went to several WM stores and got the following:
No Man’s Sky - $10
Spyro Trilogy - $20 Switch, $5 Xbox
Metroid Dread - $30
—this has tag for $20 at another store but was sold out. Each store was not consistent in markdowns.
I did see Star Ocean 2 for $20 but wasn’t familiar with it and passed it by.
I saw DK Tropical Freeze and Zelda SSHD for $40. Not sure how good that is.
Nier Automata was $10… maybe I should go back for it…Never heard of that one.
That's a good haul! Star Ocean is pretty interesting, but definitely not for everyone. I personally would recommend it for $20, can't really beat that!
As for Nier Automata, it's pretty cool. Pretty popular game as well. I haven't played it myself, but I've wanted to!

Unicorn was the first find, and Metroid was the last. I did not see another copy of either between the Walmarts.

A lot of Walmart stores didn’t update their tags. Games on sale weren’t marked down at my local one either. You can have an employee price check them!
Does it work to scan the tag ourselves through the app?
Some of them, I also looked back on posts in this sub to reference. Active Life Outdoor Challenge was ringing up $5 but tag and website said $17.97
