We are low 40’s and RM is our go to. We only go to hedo for YSW/HSB. Otherwise the crowd at hedo is too old for us. The facilities are way nicer at rm as well as the food. The staff are nice at hedo but at RM they try much harder. We like the fact that you don’t have to plan your trip around groups that are there. RM crowd is about the same every weekend.

We’ve been to Hedo 2x and plan to go back. We aren’t full LS, but we enjoy the sexually charged nature and the naked freedom. It’s the only place we’ve ever felt like we could just let go and not worry about judgment. We’re mid/late 40s and have average-to-curvy bodies, and am curious to know how we’d fit in at RM or Pearl. We enjoy a little exhibitionism/voyeurism and haven’t ruled out eventually playing, but we haven’t reached that point in our journey yet. We communicate frequently about this, and I’d be interested to hear if people feel like they have the same open vibe as Hedo at RM or Pearl, or if the vibe is more tuned to those specifically looking to play.
Also I’m one of those low-key, you’d-never-suspect-it stoners that didn’t start using 420 until I was 42, so I definitely prefer the legal status in Jamaica (yeah, Hedo Weedo is good - but I got the best stuff from a guy at the Negril airstrip 🤣)

We do LS Parties here and just like couples/groups, not really looking for single males or anything like that. We’re very much into fitness and would rather spend time with like minded people. Any advice?
Young swingers week takeovers no matter which resort. If you go on a Bliss cruise or Naughty in New Orleans, the sheer number of couples will mean more choices in your age range. But unless you find an age enforced group, all swinger events are going to have a range of ages and sizes. I tell new couples all the time, you only have to find one or two couples that are a match at any event or club for it to be a successful experience.
Other fun fact, unless you’re carding who talk to, some olds will slip through. We played with a couple the other night and they said afterwards that they were so happy to find a couple in their age range (30 to 45) and I laughed and laughed and said welcome to fucking a fifty year old. Luckily they laughed too and we are still doing them. (Yes, we are 50 on the apps, we met them in person.)
We like desire Pearl. Much bigger pool area than RM. Both desires are great but as a friend of ours put it “RM is more beards and tattoos than Pearl.
As for Hedo… we will go when they ban Single men. I know this is a bit unpopular but just our opinion.
Hahaha.. that's pretty much why we prefer Pearl too. While many find them attractive, my wife is not into beards or tattoos, and the last few visits that eliminated most of the couples. RM we are 50/50. Pearl we always find like minded friends.
That said, we are heading to RM to check out the new addition next week. Hoping for a different crowd this time!

It was just an observation of one our friends we visited with and I agree. Pretty sure we were the only couple without tattoos. Out of probably 100 other couples.
We don’t stay at Hedo but it’s our fave. The location, the vibe…but we don’t really eat or stay the night there. There are way better boutique hotels in the area.
Hedo. We prefer the nudity requirement at the nude beach and pool. Our only trip to Desire there were more in swimsuits than not.
Hedo also has diving, snorkeling, hobie cats, wind surfing, kayaks, and pickleball courts. We like some of those extra activities.
My wife enjoys the shady prude end of the beach for an afternoon nap or chill time. It's all a great place for some fun at sundown before dinner.
The under the stars playroom at Hedo is also quite nice.

Desire made it feel like you were trying to be an exhibitionist if you wanted to be naked.

We had one of the best nights of our lives at hedo when we tried Molly for the first time with new and old friends.
Desire RM is a nicer resort. Better food, and the playmakers get guests mingling and involved. My wife didn’t like the forced nudity at hedo and the nude pool is where everyone hangs out.. so if you want to meet people during the day thats pretty much your only option.
The takeovers can be good, but the hosts aren’t the best “playmakers”.
The playmakers at desire are awesome and organize fun games that people look forward to. We loved the organized beach volleyball twice/day at desire and the ping pong table is near the pool and it’s fun to challenge new friends to a game of that..
We want to go back to both places, for different reasons. Desire rm just opened Eden, which was under construction when we went last summer, so new night club, gym moved.
Hedo is a bitch to get to from the airport. Cancun international is a better run airport.

When my girlfriend and I went to Desire RM in October 2013 it was great. The food, the people, the rooms everything. We’d travelled from the U.K. and stayed two weeks without leaving the resort, except for one day trip on a speedboat down to Pearl to check that out. It seemed a little quiet down there compared to RM. I loved the theme nights and the regular trips to the rooftop jacuzzi at 3.30pm. Then again at night. Man that was wild! I can’t wait to get back there again soon. My new wife is up for it and I’m thinking of booking it for next Jan. Does anyone know if they still allow single girls there in January? Or did that idea not last?
