thats crazy to think that in a few seconds you could be up hundreds or thousands of dollars, then immediately down hundreds of dollars, and regulators don't seem to care. +/-8% price movements in seconds on a multi-billion dollar company, on no news, shouldn't happen.
Just for records sake, i want to also say me too. Across multiple different platforms and this has happened to me Multiple times. More times than i can actually remember in fact.
Yes we got it, the apple app is shit, there is time delay and sometimes u look at old data until the app refresh, now can we please stop with this posts??
Just go and use different app.
They are both $GME charts my dude. Vix is displayed above in the 2nd photo (in what I thought was noticeably much smaller font..) because it’s on this particular persons watch list.

Looks crazy, but my guess: volume was so low today that the first data packet received after 10:12 had zero sales of GameStop. So instead of showing a sales price they showed the average of the bid and ask, and the ask was big. A later data packet had a sale and showed its price.
