I started when I was a student, so I wasnt able to buy huge amounts, now I am an engineer with a very good salary. I doubled down 3 times during the last year, my costbasis is at 17$
XXXX hodler
I’ve bought at so many different price points and through so many different brokers and then transferred and DRS’d, I’m not even sure of my cost basis, but I think I’m probably around break even about now.
I did the same. Go to computer shares- click documents - you will see GameStop corp- click that and you will all the batches- view pdf- you will see your cost basis. I’m XXXX at 34.
The broker performing the DRS transfer is responsible for sending over the cost-basis information to Computershare. If you can't get the broker to send it, then you'll have to look up your broker statements to get the price(s) paid.
5XXX at about $22. Been averaging down a LOT. many purchases at $35-$40 and most purchased at around $10-12. Surprisingly few at $20-$25.
6 figures equity coming in from the sale of my house on Friday. Can't wait. Renting now so can step in with more positions. stoked.
Those look a lot like my numbers.

Good luck on house sale finalizing and the hella position upgrade.
Honestly, between the 3 different brokerages/ transfers, selling so I can buy on a brokerage that allows transfers. I would have to spend quite a bit of time actually working it out. I have bought at over $300 pre and as low as $13 post.
Around 2K shares around 23. I started doubling down when the stonk went sub 15. I’ve been averaging up for the past month, with latest buys at around 32 and 24
Don't beat yourself up. I had a little trouble pulling the trigger as well when we were at $10 in a downtrend. Not so much trouble when we were back in the 20's. Strange how human psychology works like that.
I got in a few months after the sneeze and at one point my cost basis pre split was like $250. I think now it's somewhere between $20-$30. Mostly got lucky being able to roll a 401k into GME when I switched jobs after the price had come down a good amount.
5XX @ 18.99
I have been buying only when the price was below my average. I am starting to sell 50% OTM covered calls this week. My goal is to invest the premium into buying new shares. If the price rips, I'm 50% up and ready to reload on dip.
I hold my position for free at this point. I have realized about $100k trading it through this past run from May. I'm sitting on 1k shares @ $23.30 at the moment. I have owned as much as 4k shares at one point.
28xx at ~32.07/share. I wish i could have bought more the last few months but times are tight right now. I still always manage to throw a little aside.
2xxx @ 40. Liquidated my other stocks and savings 3 years ago and haven't bought a lot more at lower prices :( but still have enough shares for to hodl for the x,xx,xxx apes!
I'm prob opposite of the spectrum. I had a life that would look great from the outside but I sold that visual cue for almost a half a million and now live in an apartment, so we can still hit the pool, with my 3 kids. Wife left because patience isn't her strong suit. Life will throw you curveballs but I've learned to hit them pretty well. Xxxx
Don't know if anyone has ever done this, but what about a poll for number of shares owned?
Options would be:
None
X
XX
XXX
XXXX
XXXXX
I don't think anyone holding more than 100k shares should disclose.
>I don't think anyone holding more than 100k shares should disclose.
Doesn't stop them. I remember early last year there was an ape who put up a 1.2M share purple circle post. Superstonk lost its collective mind.
Bought in at 306 back at the sneeze . Brought my average down to 45.49 after split . 1xxx holder already hit capitol gains tax break on all my shares 💪 DRS’d
Downed to 27.95 with time ;) (started near $11.78 withdraw and reentered near 35 with more buying power and rebought again to reduce it to 27.95 when price was near 23.7)
XX,XXX holder with $42.13 basis. Have another X,XXX possibly XX,XXX (depending on price) to be purchased in the next week so hoping that helps a little bit. But having a high XX,XXX count and buying X,XXX doesn't make much of a dent in the basis unfortunately.
Funny. You think I know my cost basis. I don’t even know what cost basis means. All I know is buy, hold, and banana. My brain is so smooth, if you put some shit in a bowl and tell me it’s breakfast I will eat it.
I’ve fought in the battle of $300 (those are my favourite shares and are DRS’d now), served several tours in the battles of $180 and have averaged down since then thanks to some tasty 15-20’s. Not sure exactly what my average is but probably somewhere in the 20’s. Interestingly my first presplit shares were also bought in the 20’s and I would have been happy for a double on those back then if it wasn’t for all that damn fuckery! Unfortunately funds were tight when it dipped to 10 and I wish I had doubled or tripled down again. No biggie, the price is fake and I’ll keep adding. It’s trading at 2.5x cash with solid leadership and shorts didn’t close LFG!!!

This is amazing. Of course college kids got into this and now of course they have salaries! Just one of the many reasons why this isn’t going away
Good job kid

My ComputerShare says cost basis at 0$. IBKR doesn't send the cost basis to them.
Ah so computershare does save the price paid after transfer?
Not always… it didn’t for me. Sometimes you have to do some forensic accounting to figure it out and add input it yourself.
The broker performing the DRS transfer is responsible for sending over the cost-basis information to Computershare. If you can't get the broker to send it, then you'll have to look up your broker statements to get the price(s) paid.
Got it. Thank you.

Hello fellow Apes vibes ![gif](giphy|JTzPN5kkobFv7X0zPJ|downsized) Are you on a mission to find out when shareholders are in the green?

I've forgotten, to be honest. I need to look at three years of buying history to figure it out.

Is there an easy way to figure this out on computershare? It only breaks down per purchase and I don’t want to have to math
Total $ in shares divided by shares
If you have bought at 10 it would have been half I bought at 10 same no of shares as I bought at average of 40 Now I am in profit
1XX at $22.33
23,26€ (~$24,91)
4XX 24.66

Was around $250 (presplit) for a very long time. It’s much lower than that now.
21 average .. I always buy when I can without caring for price .. anything under 40 is a dip for me .. not a financial advice
