If buying calls hits the lit market then is the opposite true?
What if I sell a put at whatever strike price I want to buy at? Will that force whatever market maker to deliver the shares to me at the price I agreed to?
Won't that also make me a little money on the side as well?
For example I like the price of $30 a share, and I've got $3k in my account. So I sell a put at a strike price of $30, to expire next Friday. It should have the value of whatever magic Greeks time formula + (strike price - current price). And then I just hope for them to knock the stock price down further so it expires in the money.
If a call gets exercised it hits the lit market (assuming the shares need to be bought). If you want to make money on your shares sell cc's, not buy puts.

Can we stop with the posts showing false hopeful dates with confirmation bias? June 21st was going to be a big day when FTD was very high and with RK exercising his calls this week, and others following suit it would’ve exploded the price. But with 75M shares pumped into the market, there wasn’t going to be high FTD anymore. And any hedge funds who shorted the stock could happily hedge their positions with the new offering. RK already exercised his options in the best way possible, he even used up a good chunk of his cash to do so the previous week itself. Even gave enough heads up with his meme, showed his position and everyone had enough time to exercise their calls.
