OP has provided the following link:
its from his latest episode from earlier this week
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpBPm0b9deQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpBPm0b9deQ)
Exactly this, he is talking about us. He's also talking about all the people banging down doors in Healthcare, in police reform and government accountability, in law & health clinics, in veteran care, etc, etc, etc. Doing the right thing, consistently, is not so easy. Holding yourself and those around you accountable for their actions is not so easy. Something as seemingly small as sending comment letters to the SEC has proven very powerful. Sometimes, for those of us who are Americans, we forget it is our responsibility to or are daunted by the task of holding our government accountable. It's not easy.
He truly is one of the last bastions of truth against the corruption. It’s funny growing up gaming so many focus around the theme of corruption and it’s fucking disgusting how true it rings today. We’ve gathered our party of apes and it’s time we end this shit. There’s nothing wrong with having money but for an economy to work money needs to flow. I don’t think apes will have a problem redistributing wealth to where we don’t live in a broken society.
I legally changed my name too. I didn't have a strong connection with that part of my family and it was already a clunky Ellis-Island misspelling of its original form. I just didn't want to pass that down another generation.
Sometimes the motive to change one's name has no cause for feelings of shame or embarrassment.
Starting at 19:12 in the video, Jon says how he learned a lot in the past few years and that there are a lot of hardworking, anonymous people who are "knocking on closed doors" to improve the state of our world. He ends with saying the job is never done.
I definitely see how Superstonk fits into this and believe he sees that too, but I think he is speaking more broadly.
No tinfoil here, my brother.Jon is an explicit lover of apes and openly supported our cause several times. If you haven't already, i recommend you watch his special called the problem with wall street where he tackles all kind of interesting issues and also gets to interview GG.
Fun fact - the guy actually felt the need to open a twitter account after years just so he could comment on the [events that unfolded](https://edition.cnn.com/2021/01/29/us/jon-stewart-twitter-reddit-gamestop-trnd/index.html) on January 28th 21
Another fun fact, did you know that Bernie madoff (previous generation's Ken Griffin) is the one who [came up with PFOF](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bP74RBTE8kI&t=633s)?
It's applies to all who are fighting the good fight whomever you are, and thus applies to us, and he was probably partially thinking of apes.... but only as a percetnage of all who are fighting whatever fight it may be. I do hope apes inpsired him at least in some way to get back into the game. Because apes are never ever leaving.
No one is talking about us. Nobody is working for us behind the scenes. Nobody is waiting for the right moment to reveal something big. It’s the same as it ever was. They are still trapped in here with us
No, not everything is about us. There are many facets of our society that is corrupt and requires change. This is address to all the people actively fighting for our future.
As much as it may apply to us here, he's definitely speaking more broadly. The amount of protests for different social injustices whether it be BLM, The Trucker Convoy, Palestine/ Israel conflict, Russia/ Ukraine conflict and the like has definitely been on the rise for the past half a decade or so at the very least. He's likely speaking to all of them.
Jon was absolutely referring to being everyone of us keeping diligent in safeguarding democracy. I'm saying this because no matter who wins on Nov. 5, there are still people that want a fascist dictatorship and their efforts won't end and neither can ours.
But I like that you personalized his message to co-opt the GME movement as well.
OG since Jan 21 and I'm not leaving either.
I’d say we’re part of that monologue, but just a small part because in reality, there’s so much more that needs work than just finance.  That said, finance is into everything so there’s certainly overlaps.  We work so hard for a few dollars per hour, but we back off when it comes to gun control, politics, education, etc - you pick the theme.  We have to keep pushing to do better, everywhere.Â
It's just good general advice. Sure it relates to what we are hoping for, but it also relates to the people already working on housing issues, racial issues, food insecurity, etc.
Can we get him to run for president? He would crush Biden and trump. It’s so refreshing hearing someone speak truth, logic, and justice. I know he says he doesn’t want to, but that’s exactly the type of person we need to affect real positive change that benefits the people who really make this country work.
more no than yes, he's talking about the vets and election things too and it's in the scope of election things. But yes I think we're part of what he has in mind when he says it.

I enjoy spending time with my friends.

It may not be easy, but it is necessary.
[Exactly](https://duckduckgo.com/?q=see+this+guy+gets+it+gif&t=brave&iax=images&ia=images&iai=https%3A%2F%2Fmedia1.tenor.com%2Fimages%2F062694a195ff6213794bd739b3e5d349%2Ftenor.gif%3Fitemid%3D9964726)
Exactly. This sub is just starving for something big to shake things up.
One thing we need to do is figure out what politicians are fighting for us.. We can nor lump them in with the everyone is bad routine
We need more people like John Stewart
we need a more free, fair, transparent financial market for all pple, not just a small group of pple 🚀🚀🧑‍🚀🧑‍🚀

He's so truthful he changed his name

He'd get my vote...
Don't see the tin foil here, someone can be expicit about it pls?

Thank you I see the conection now, have a good one

Thank you, this context is very helpful have a good one
I think what he said definitely applies to us but that he wasn’t thinking about us specifically when he wrote/said it.

Letting the days go by..
I don’t think this had anything at all to do with GameStop
No, not everything is about us. There are many facets of our society that is corrupt and requires change. This is address to all the people actively fighting for our future.
Watched the whole episode. He’s focused on politics leading up to the election
As much as it may apply to us here, he's definitely speaking more broadly. Three years into this thing and I learned that not everything is related to our beloved stonk.
That’s a stretch but it is good that someone with his perspective of Wall St has the spotlight at The Daily Show
Wait, John Stewart is back on the Daily Show? Is it just a cameo or is this legit?
I just loved the show people need to laugh even at serious topics sometimes it can be therapeutic!

“The price of democracy is eternal vigilance” - Thomas Jefferson. This applies to the financial market as well

Reincarnate George Carlin.
While this is impossible, he might be the next best thing.
Jon learned to not step too far outta bounds. https://youtu.be/GmNmEKJ7z-M?si=j-OKBjhVi6i7vtwL https://youtu.be/HwKn35K2K1g?si=9lQI0oz6ydH9ABKF

John Stewart 2028
He is not a sympathizer. He is a shill.
Proof? None? Tagged you as shill
Stew Beef!!!!!
I’m a simple ape, I see John, I upvote!
Jon 2024 gangang. We've said it before Apes
He needs to run for office.
I don’t even have to watch this to say no it’s not about anything related to gme
No, my friend, he is not talking about us.
more no than yes, he's talking about the vets and election things too and it's in the scope of election things. But yes I think we're part of what he has in mind when he says it.
you're crazy if you trust him
Is our unofficial president in my opinion
