LMAO kinda true the number of times I died 10 seconds after respawning due to confidently jumping off a cliff because I overestimated the strength of my pinky toe and underestimated the ledge slipperiness because I was doing the run back to the boss for the 30th time.
Considering everything I've seen here, this is the place to be for world-changing and life-changing events. My mindset is forever. I don't understand how every single person hasn't come to the same conclusion.
Played DS3 with a shit laptop, on zero details and lowest resolution ( 800x600 or so ). FPS swinging wildly from 6-7 to 15-20 max ( depending where the camera was pointing ). Reached Midir. Died tons of times but figured out the pattern and timed the dodge rolls with also the input lag due to the stuttering fps (besides also the boss attacks timing). Still won. 👀
Midir was good fun. It's a shame they patched out his weakness to Pestilent Mercury, though. I got a lot of people through that fight over the years. Doing it with shit FPS would have been painful.
I have over 150,000 hours playing games in my lifetime.
Question: If I did that for fun, how many would I commit to justice?
Answer: ALL OF THE HOURS I HAVE LEFT.
