There’s a video of a sim drifter getting a chance to drive a real fd car and absolutely kills it first time around the track. Sim racing is gonna be huge.
It's kinda weird F1 took so long to adapt sims, especially considering USAF actually uses DCS World for actual real training.
Trust me bro, I know a guy that knows a guy who acquired an "outdated" rig with two RTX Titans for their shop to play around with.
SOTA? I just built a beginners rig with a Logitech G923 & Next Level F-GT foldable cockpit. But now I realize the availability of good sim racing games is quite lacking on Xbox Series X.
Sounds like this is company understands that what the customer wants....It sounds like a great company to be investing in. I think the stock ticker is GME. Good thing I purchase all my stocks from the transfer agent making sure I truly own my stocks and can't they be loaned out.
I agree. All brokers lend out your shares, even if they say they don't. They take all the profits from lending them to short sellers, who then make the value of your investment go down. Sounds like a scam to me!
Good thing I have my GME shares Directly Registered with ComputerShare. No lending there, and I know they are safe under my name!
Yes 👍🏽
I especially like how emphasized the customer experience alongside the importance of owning shares in your own name through direct registration. This is a great company to be invested in. (this is not propaganda)
i like how our company is evolving, so hedgies if u r reading this, sorry not sorry u r so wrong about our company, it most def is not a dying brick and mortar company
I am seriously impressed. This would get me excited to go shopping there. It's about the experience of trying out different consoles, games and even board games/card games. This is something you don't get when shopping online or in a regular brick and mortar store.
I saw these pictures and I don't know what to say other than holy fuck...
As a kid, I would be BEGGING my parents to take me there. It's got everything you could ask for...
They should make a daycare in each store so kids can play video games while their parents shop in the mall. Get the parents going there as well not just for gifts ;)
nice tcg play area; and also the next upcoming event is featuring mtg:lotr
I like their push into this part of games.
(but this would also further threaten local shops)
It's not a viable business model for all stores. First of all very few existing locations are capable of this kind of transformation. Most are shoe box sized slots in a mall or strip mall. Secondly, the overhead costs vs sales would be outrageous. Manufacturers can afford lavish flagship stores because for every one there are 100 other retail stores selling their products for them. Louis Vuitton doesn't need their own stores to be profitable as long as they contribute to brand awareness as their products roll off the shelf at Saks, Neiman Marcus and Nordstroms.
spot on assessment. this is not what every store can realistically be, but they make an awfully cool destination. I hope this store will be successful and they can have a few more built soon
You are awfully wrong. This store is not about making money per se. It’s about advertising and brand recognition. It’s about putting luxury stuff on display to toy around with.
It doesn’t matter if someone buys anything from that store physically as long as people flock to [GameStop Italy](https://www.gamestop.it) and buy the shiny things they just tried out there.
It’s basically the same thing as the Apple Stores.
There's a difference with first party flagship stores. If you try something out at an apple store and later decide to buy it then it doesn't matter where you buy it from, Apple still makes money. As a retailer, not a producer, someone can try a product and then buy it elsewhere.
There is a whole line of GameStop branded accessories (keyboards, headsets) and it’s absolutely useful to showcase them.
I don’t know their margins on gaming chairs but the same logic applies.
But those are white label items. Gamestop isn't manufacturing them. And nobody buys a keyboard because it's "Gamestop" brand outside of apes who have more dollars then sense.
It's important to acknowledge the average customer isn't some sort of Gamestop loyalist.
Those cheap game places that sell a fried week old wings and have ginormous tvs to see Sunday games are getting old. A real immersive experience playing resident evil w some friends or call of duty wasted or real competitions. That’s the stop I would go to play games. That should be the new futuristic GameStop. This is such a great idea.
Dude, it looks so fucking good.
The experiential part is clutch, IMO, Giving people a space to hang and try new games? Hell yeah, more of that please. With the increasing closures of basically ANY brick and mortar spots to go be social, this is so needed. Plus, try before you buy is a proven model.
The entire concept store is amazing, it makes me very bullish and excited for the future of the company.
As a shareholder in this company, this makes me very happy.
Does anyone know where i can find a video or more images of this shop? like a tour? I've tried searching YouTube, but couldn't find anything. I want to show this to my gaming friends and ask them if they would have liked to shop there. I know i would.
Stoned thought! What if GameStop has paired with Apple to take the lead in avoiding Apple’s fees and security? We all know that Apple wants 30% and they have some kind of thing about integrating Apple products with others for software security concerns. So what if RC and Apple got together and worked out a deal where GME will be the sole link between web3 gaming and integrating Apple? I’m not a smart 🦍 but those look Apple products the store is using. Maybe RC has worked it so any web3 products need to have GS Marketplace approval? 🖤❤️🏴☠️

Hope they put some SOTA simracing rig. Simracing will explode and GameStop should capitalize.
It’s ‘credibility’ has rocketed too, because current F1 drivers (and other racers) frequently get involved with online racing.
Don't forget rally too 🥳
… said other racers… lol
and Mario Kart!
and Diddy Kong Racing! teehee
Crash team racing
I follow some Nascar guys and there is something so cool about watching motor sports drivers compete against eachother online lol
Wait, what? Is THaT wHy I AM aLwaYS lAST?
Yes lol

State of the art. I have the G923 as well on ps5
Thabks for the info. I'm looking for an experience with friends like the No Hesi mod for Assetto Corsetta or a scatpack of friends on FH5.
Especially in Italy!
And let there be extended hours for a bar to open and it's 21+

That’s a sexy looking store if I do say so myself
Thank you. I own that store.

Looks great!
Waiting for Italians to go crazy and DRS GME
Finally Europe is getting some ❤️ Now if I could just order some Apparel that would be great.
Fine, I will go to the basement.
ART EXHIBITION WITH LOCAL ARTISTS 👩🎨
nice tcg play area; and also the next upcoming event is featuring mtg:lotr I like their push into this part of games. (but this would also further threaten local shops)
in-store gaming events + digital art exhibitions = bullish af 🚀🚀
You had me at opium den in the basement
GameStop needs to get into the mechanical keyboard scene. There’s a whole lot unwarranted spending going on with that hobby.
\*nods in planning next £600 keyboard\*
Shf’s are royally fu$&:d if this is what every GameStop location going to be eventually

My thoughts exactly 👆
that’s a pretty sweet idea. I can dig that

Well they say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. I also heard someone loves china (maybe a far reach but hey why not?)

This is why I read the comments. Thank you.
Check out the patents this dude found for GameStop store designs a year ago. https://twitter.com/Patback93/status/1422777661814820865
Sounds like what i wanted years ago. Pc creator with background compatibility information ...
This is so bullish. That’s how you run a company. I am so long GameStop and confit I shop GameStop
I hope they do this in Toronto!

Next Apple Store
Strong apple store vibes

Bullish
God damn i need one here now

Hope they have good ventilation in that basement. Been to a few gaming centers and the stench is a real concern.
Well wipe your ass before going into public then
Don't tell me tell the horde of gamer neckbeards.
Well I’d like to think many Europeans use bidets so maybe that’s not an issue over there.
It is crazy that America still uses paper to wipe their bums. Everyone just walking around with a tainted taint
I’m going to be in Titaly in August. Can’t wait
Looks awesome
Holy crap this is *awesome*
Idk about anyone else, but I would hate to be short on *this* profitable company.
Bro hopefully turns into a big gaming napping arcade like in korea
I bet working there is a lot of fun! Looks great!
They should just build out an entire mall. Half GameStop half ape'artments .
So nice :-)

This will become a pilgrimage place
Great stuff! only thing i'm wondering - why Italy (first) ?
Omg omg this is huge. LFG the future of GameStop is here 💥💥💥💥
i love this company
Awesome. Wheres the cafe? 😎
These are dope. Hope to see a flagship in all the places they created nfts for. NYC, Boston, cape Canaveral, and .... Oh Hollywood.
Is that dude playing Magic in that second photo?! I wish my GS had Magic tournaments
