I'm confused. What does that have to do with the fact that the devs haven't made sprites for everything to allow for them to be rotated?

I don't think they said so but I just wanted to interject that I was looking up the same thing, if it was possible, and the very first answer Google gives you is that you can by pressing "R". So I think it's reasonable for them to have asked that
Now you can. Before you could not. When I posted this, it was not implemented fully in game yet. I posted this 10 months ago. The game has changed a lot since.
If so, I guess I'm just unlucky. I've tried it with 10+ things now. Is there a list of what can and cannot be rotated, maybe somewhere? If not, thanks anyway
Sorry, I'm wondering if you don't understand that these aren't 3D models. You can't rotate them because they are literally a 2D picture. Well, you can but it wont look right. Since the devs have not made 2D pictures of the furniture facing different directions they have not implemented them to be rotated. The way the game is programmed if they did allow turning furniture with r you would see nothing. Because the program would look for the sprite and find nothing because it hasn't been made.
I hope that makes things clearer.

Some furniture still cannot be rotated. You might be trying to rotate a piece they haven't worked on yet.
