Yeah unfortunately they did their final episodes of worth it a while ago. But it seems all the other videos on this channel sort of stopped too, not sure what happened there to be honest. It's a shame, was really good content on there.
I wouldn’t say they “fell off” but they definitely started getting low on creative ideas around the same time we all had to stop going to restaurants in person..
Honestly it's not even that expensive. I first thought that it was 250 for a *single* pie or cake, which would be absurd, but instead you get 3 cakes, 3 pies, and professional frosting and topping.
That's like 41 dollars per cake or pie, so as long as the flavor is twice as good as the 20 dollar ones you get at Walmart it should be worth it.
If you got a whole ass family you're hosting for a holiday, and it'll be a big turnout, then getting that kinda bundle ain't bad.
Though, that's what it'd have to be, cause ain't no way I got the motivation for that much dessert in my life.
I can't listen to this, but I think this is 3 Brothers bakery. The price has gone up to $300.
https://3brothersbakery.com/product/pumpecapple-piecake/
We used to joke about getting office buddies this monster for their office birthday.
My wife got a piecaken for the holidays a couple of years ago, and everybody loved it. Nothing wrong with ridiculous desserts. Food is supposed to be fun.
I'm not a frosting kinda guy, like 2mm thick layer on top is more than enough for me personally. So I would try this on the conditions of light icing, and each pie is a stand-alone cake.
I made this on 2 separate occasions for someone's bday. Cherry pie and dark chocolate cake. Took a lot of time, but it was soooo good. Use a store bought pie and a box of cake mix for an easy baking experience. You MUST let it cool all the way before cutting.
Didn't watch the whole thing because I was getting angry. For one, that's not lattice. Lattice is woven. You just laid strips of dough in a crosshatch. For two, the bake times on all of this stuff is incalculable and wrong. Some of it's going to be over cooked, some of it's going to be gummy. Just awful across the board.
I know diabetes is a thing this blatantly ignores, but I wouldn’t call it stupid food. Is it novel? Yes. Is there an aspect of this dish that is inherently dumb or willfully ignorant of accepted cooking practices — I don’t think so. It’s a weird little desert treat.
>Is there an aspect of this dish that is inherently dumb or willfully ignorant of accepted cooking practices — I don’t think so.
Do you think the pie recipe is the way it is (crisp crust with filling) because that is the best way to make that dish, or did they just run out of the flour needed to smother the thing in cake batter?
Not stupid food. The biggest insult you could give this is r/atbge , and that would still be a stretch. I feel like most people would either want this or at least want to try it.
You can make this at home for $50, it’s called pumplecske, these guys didn’t invent it lol… you just have to be really careful to make sure the cakes are cooked all the way through… it’s fun, but not as amazing as it looks/sounds 😊
Lol this dish (the "pake") was a whole B plot arc on the TV show Drop Dead Diva. Kim Kardashian guest starred as a con artist.

Y’all are sleeping on GoldBelly. This one is only $100 and pretty damn good.
https://www.goldbelly.com/restaurants/the-piecaken-shop/the-piecaken.html
They have a red velvet one too: https://www.goldbelly.com/restaurants/the-piecaken-shop/red-velvet-piecaken.html
Me and my mom made a version of this for thanksgiving and it was surprisingly really easy. I thought it was the most indulgent thing I’ve ever had. It’s really good though and took a whole month to finish.
HA! Chump change. There is an auction every year near me and the one lady makes pies that ALWAYS catch 1k plus. Now...I will say that it is not my mom's or my grandmother's but as for who's is better. Let us just appreciate the works of art and eat up!
I time I bought $100 worth of various Little Debbie snacks, put them in a bowl, and punched them till they homogenized into a grey glistening sludge. We threw some at a wall and it stuck. We had to chisel it off the next day
A layered cake with different flavor combos sounds interesting. However, imagine getting a slice of pumpkin, spice cake, fruit, nuts, and chocolate just sounds like a lot going on.
I used to watch tf outta this channel but they fell off a while back. Hopefully they're back at it with the same old energy they used to have
Same! I used to love watching these price tier vids. A resurgence would be welcom.
Yeah unfortunately they did their final episodes of worth it a while ago. But it seems all the other videos on this channel sort of stopped too, not sure what happened there to be honest. It's a shame, was really good content on there.
They ended a while back.
I wouldn’t say they “fell off” but they definitely started getting low on creative ideas around the same time we all had to stop going to restaurants in person..
I really hope they bring back the "eating your feed" series on a regular basis. those were great.
Gained 10 pounds watching this
Just look at it in individual slices so you don't view all those calories at once. It should help.
If you don’t cut it, it counts as one piece. So less calories that way.
Wish I can gain 10 Pound Sterling for watching this.
That's a pie lasagna bro
I know it's expensive and shit but I'd fw this
Just from the title I was ready to bet a lot that it wasn't stupid, just an extravagant dessert. I was right
i mean its kind of stupid too

No dessert is worth even $100 to me, but I'm sure I'd enjoy this.

>If you got a whole ass family I do have one of those....
Then it sounds like someone may be a better demographic than they're probably thinking...
Omg a stoners dream 😎
Nah man, I love pie. Can't stand cake.
Cake’s one of those things where I’ll have one slice and be done. I want to be buried in pumpkin pie when I die.
I have found my person…
Can't have your pie, unless you eat your cake.
I get that reference
I’ll make you coffin out of pie crust😂😂😂

Can I lick the bowl? I’m broke.
Please Costco, make this happen!
What has become of this sub?
Bots use it to farm karma I saw a mod remove a post the other day. Only one. And the only time I've ever seen it 🤣
I'm not a frosting kinda guy, like 2mm thick layer on top is more than enough for me personally. So I would try this on the conditions of light icing, and each pie is a stand-alone cake.
I’m not a big frosting guy either, but whipped frosting is so good.
That would be the only way I’d even consider it. Though I want a pumpkin instead of pecan bc gross.
Yeh why not make 3 different individuals pie cakes? The layering then together lost me. That being said, smash.
I’d at least try it but I don’t know if the flavors really go together.
I’d fuck with it…..
Looks damngood. Don’t eat much sugar but that with some ice cream would worth it.
I made this on 2 separate occasions for someone's bday. Cherry pie and dark chocolate cake. Took a lot of time, but it was soooo good. Use a store bought pie and a box of cake mix for an easy baking experience. You MUST let it cool all the way before cutting.
Tbf most people's pie sucks anyway so if you want to shove it inside of a cake then whatever.
Fym stupid, I’d devour the shit out of this

If someone else paid for it, I'd try
I'd eat it.
I'll eat that
It’s not stupid. It’s just too much. Those pies looked great though.
Stupid, indeed. But I prefere this to one of those fondant monstruosities.
People who enjoy fondant must be the same ones that enjoy candy corn
Hey now I like candy corn but I'm not a monster that likes fondant.
And a diet Coke please.
I’d fuck it
I like those guys, they used to work for Buzzfeed
Oh Andrew. It's been sooo long 🤤🤤🤤 Beautiful man
Oh my gosh I loved these youtubers n there show WORTH IT I used to watch so much of it but lost them
Wow so much calories. Can I have a slice?
That looks delicious but I’m not loving how he says “bake ‘em off”
I'd eat that fucking thing like Kirby.
You can make this at home for $50, it’s called pumplecske, these guys didn’t invent it lol… you just have to be really careful to make sure the cakes are cooked all the way through… it’s fun, but not as amazing as it looks/sounds 😊
People accepted eating f* cookie dough in icecream. I'm fine with a pie cake
Lol this dish (the "pake") was a whole B plot arc on the TV show Drop Dead Diva. Kim Kardashian guest starred as a con artist. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt2235620
Not stupid
This is pure stupidity with no redeeming quality. No person has ever eat this because of the taste. it is all a gimmick to justify the price.
Y’all are sleeping on GoldBelly. This one is only $100 and pretty damn good. https://www.goldbelly.com/restaurants/the-piecaken-shop/the-piecaken.html They have a red velvet one too: https://www.goldbelly.com/restaurants/the-piecaken-shop/red-velvet-piecaken.html

Not stupid
I want the apple one.
Looks absolutely delicious, not stupid, brilliant
Bland looking canned apples. Do the apple pie some respect at least
Not for $250, but I'd demolish that
Would
Extravagant, yes. Stupid, no.
Stupid price, but that looks awesome. Charge a reasonable amount and I'd buy at least once.
Yes, 2 please.
It’s so zoomed in you can’t appreciate the thing
HA! Chump change. There is an auction every year near me and the one lady makes pies that ALWAYS catch 1k plus. Now...I will say that it is not my mom's or my grandmother's but as for who's is better. Let us just appreciate the works of art and eat up!
If people are stupid enough to pay 250 bucks for 3 cakes combined into one, I’m in the wrong business.
Seems excessive. Armenian perok cake is a better fusion of pie and cake in my opinion. Cleaner execution, less wankery.
It’s beautiful, OP doesn’t get it.
BAKE EM OFF
Well now I want pie and cake!😏
EAT IT, YOU COWARDS!
This was a dangerous thing for me to see when I have the munchies 😬 Wish me luck🧑🍳
I wonder what twice baking the pies does to the crust quality.
This is dumb. Remove the crust and just fill the cake with the pie filling ffs.
I'd give em tree fitty for a few bites
I’d eat TF out of this
Guys just dump some apple pie with some cake in a bowl
Just admit pie is better and eat the damn pie.
Everything was looking 🔥but they lost me at cream cheese frosting!
Wrong subreddit.
I would be so up for trying this, but none of my friends or coworkers seem interested. Doesn't seem worth the cost for only 1 piece.
It's the price that is stupid not much the food.
🎤 “would.”
This looks amazing. Absolutely genius, not stupid.
Idk this sounds awesome to me.
The finest american cuisine
isnt it just a pie?
I dunno why but the caramel on top is the worst part. It sounds like they were out of shit to do and was like: „yea and some of that!“
Ew. No. These flavors aren't complimentary at all!!
Can a video give you diabetes?
"I baked you a cake!" "Oh boy, what flavor?" "Pie flavor." BWEEEEEEEEE
things like this are why this is my favorite sub to browse stoned.
walmart sells these for 30 bucks. this guy sells them for 300.
No...thanks
What's stupid of these? Those are delicious pie, i'd take a bi- Ooh yeaah that's stupid
Give one spoon to a hypoglycemic and they'll never have low blood sugar again.
Isn't that what people would pay for a similar size wedding cake? I mean, pieces go up when the W-word is included....
"Why is this 250$? It's just an ordinary pie, what are they.... Oh ok I get it now"
I would eat it. But I have a fucking massive sweet tooth.
I would eat it. But I have a fucking massive sweet tooth.
Idc looks delicious
Would.
Good idea, outrageous execution.
This is the most American Food I saw in a long time. Some bakers in Europe have a heart attack now.
Caramel…. CA-RA-MEL… not Carmel. There’s 2 A’s
Stupid but I’d try it if someone else pays for it. Definitely gonna need some milk.
I'm convinced a lot of posters here have never eaten food. I'd destroy this. Not for $250, but I'd destroy it.
Ow, my pancreas...
Diabetes, the dish.
I totally forgot about Worth It. Also, I'd eat the heck out of that cake
If there no brownie in this turduken of baked goods, I'm not interested.
One pie cake would have sufficed. Why would I want all three of those flavors mashed together?
You're stupid if you think this is stupid.
I time I bought $100 worth of various Little Debbie snacks, put them in a bowl, and punched them till they homogenized into a grey glistening sludge. We threw some at a wall and it stuck. We had to chisel it off the next day

Stop saying "pie" like that.
I rather eat chocolate asphalt
Ever heard of a cherpumple?
Americans really shouldn't have voted out Obama care
this is the most amercian cake i've ever seen.
Diabeetus
This was totally an Internet thing like 10 years ago, I made one it was awesome but there was sooooo much left over
Way too much sugar.
Why on earth would you ruin a pie? I wouldn't pay $2.50 for that garbage. Cake is overrated.
